This is because me and my friends will be doing a series called "Armored August" in which we will enjoy mech games, not entirely sure how many vids a week, going to try to make at least 2 a week, on the run up to Armored Core VI, Excited for that game! Armored August will come to an end with the first episode of Armored Core VI let's play!~
BUT!!! That doesn't mean that stories and more won't be happening. The early parts of my newest upcoming tale, "Lord Of The Pit" is almost ready to post. On top of that, "Voltaic Corrosion" is proceeding fairly well.
I wasn't happy with the quality and composition of Tales From Drakxinae but I have been refreshing that over time. Will post when things are looking alright to me.

Posted 3 years agoSo, with it being a long time since I have posted anything... I just want to say that I have been going through a bit of a rough time emotionally. Yet I have not been going through it all doing nothing. So with this, I will reveal some of what I have been working on...

Remember... That is why I am here now. I woke up on a beach far to the east of the city of Pisceal, home of the Sapphire Serpent branch of the Hunter's Associate Guild. I had no memory of what had happened or why I ended up there, and I quickly learned that my kind was looked down on for their sneaky and greedy antics. Getting information was like pulling teeth as most just believed I was setting up some sort of scam. The only upside was that I had magic talent. Mana was a part of me as long as I could remember, and I was great at casting spells.

Posted 4 years agoI've been thinking about this a lot... and I think want to restart a story series that I started writing a long time ago (Nearly 3-4 years I do believe) I had chapter one roughly finished but I was completely unsatisfied with it. I want to strip it down and reconstruct the world in it.
It was a story series to be called "Tales From Drakxinae" and it was a story series based around a society of dragons, born with different powers based on their bloodline. The first story was going to jump right into action with a tournament and a governmental scandal to try and bring the world to life. But I think I might dig the story a bit deeper. I want to experiment a lot. Stepping out into a larger project like this is... intimidating... but I want to try my best to come up with something that can invoke emotion in the reader. Something that can keep the attention and suspension in this world I want to open up and create.
I think I may start with a few smaller stories to lay the foundation for the world.... and build on it from there.
I want to improve my skills overall. when I do take the step forward and start posting again, I would love to see some responses, advice, and criticism.

Posted 4 years ago2021 has been a horrible and hectic year for me emotionally and mentally; and whilst I would like to say I am fine, I am not. I have been unsatisfied with my work as of late and even looking back at images I have been proud of in the past, I see some shortcuts I used that, in retrospect, Harm the overall image... I want to get better from this point onward and will be regularly devoting time to drawing rather than the emotional roadblocks that have stopped me in the past.
Some characters will be getting redesigns and I will be drawing some of my favorites more often as well as new ones.
Kava, as an example. I shall be changing parts of his design a bit without really messing around with his overall appearance as I felt some things were a bit off for his species.
I may be revisiting my lizard boy, Serrou, and touching up a bit more on his design as well.
Expect some possible more art of Kava and his partner, Miro, soon... and also expect the first few chapters of their story soon.
And Finally, Some more world building for my open race, The Kebade.

Posted 4 years agoFeeling a combination of depression, enthusiasm, and lots and lots of energy.
Besides the chaotic mixture of emotions, I am periodically sketching, writing, and whatnot. Nothing special or new really to share right now.
Work is being done on a number of projects but not feeling satisfied with any of them to the level where I want to post.
How are you guys doing? And how do you handle slumps while doing projects? I'd like to have some wisdom as it feels like I constantly just slam into walls of "It's not good enough" or "I'll do it later"

Posted 7 years agoI get a lot of questions about my Dergnfly OC, Envaris so.... here is a quick list of questions and answers that I have to commonly give.
Q. Where does Envaris live?
A. Envaris lives in a large jungle made of gigantic foliage, flowers big enough to be beds and blue-berries the size of watermelons. The trees are so tall that while they block out the sky, during sunrise and sunset the large foliage underneath is given direct sunlight and during that time, Envaris can be found sunbathing on his flowery home.
Q. How big is Envaris?
A. a bit taller than your average human but still able to fit on a Queen-sized mattress.
Q. What does Envaris eat / How does Envaris's mouths work?
A. This is a bit more complex but the simple answer is that his real head and his tail head both have individual makeups, while his main head is adapted for feeding off fruit and drinking fluids, his tail-head is more adapted for eating small prey. Despite the wildly different mouthparts, both lead to the same stomach which oddly enough has a hard time digesting things like bread and so bread, crackers, and sometimes cookies and muffins can make Envaris sick. His main head contains sharp fangs and a proboscis-like tongue while his tail head contains a more reptillian tongue and a set of sharp retractable teeth.

A. He actually is able to produce a spray of pale blue mist from his maw that affects the senses of another being or himself. It relaxes the muscles and makes the target feel peaceful and cozy, even making them go to sleep.

Aibukyss is a hunter and descends very close to the mist layer in order to hunt game on the land below or try and fish in the streams and lakes.

Say Hello to the project named Yggdrasil in its development stage.
The working title will change upon later updating and creation of it but it is planned to be a mostly insect based visual novel. Many of the Characters will be completely new to you, and others will be characters that you may have noticed if you hung around my FA long enough.

The storytelling is AMAZING in this game, and to me emotionally, it dwarfed games that I had tried before such as Morenatsu. Each character feels different and alive, and the decisions you make in this game feel like they have a lot more weight to them.
The plot was well thought out and there is a lot to love from this game. I won't go into spoilers but in the end, this is a game that is an amazing story, but very punishing if you weren't paying attention. And to be honest, that is not a bad thing.
The only downside to it is a few things are difficult to understand. (Ah, Multi-verse theory's a bitch)
But I do have to recommend this game for those who like visual novels, Mystery games, Dragons, or just want a fun game with a ton of unlockables for the low price of $10.
