Hullo all! Just wanted to throw this out here since I've been gone for about a week, and haven't posted much up in a while. I just wanted to promise that I am alive. All is well.

My mate,  muffinface just had surgery to get her gallbladder out a few days ago, so that took up an entire week of worrying and being by the bedside to make sure she was comfortable and happy. The surgery went excellent and she's recovering fine, but y'know how things go. She's getting better quickly, and I'm thankful.

ALSO. April was full of the hectic insanity that I like to call Camp NaNoWriMo. I made my word goal of 40k words, whewt (I hit 41320 words in total)! :D So happy for that! Although not all of it will be uploaded because some is unfinished and others just aren't up to par with what I want to upload, I'm still quite happy with how much I wrote during the month, and I'm aiming to keep up the momentum. I want to definitely keep up the 1k a day personal challenge and hopefully I'll be uploading more of it as I write more and become more confident with my work. :3

I'm also in a spot, now that the crazy writing race is over, that I think I can focus on other things. More specifically, working on getting consistent enough in my writing to open up written commissions. Because that would be wickedly cool. To know that my writing is good enough that someone would pay me for it is totally a dream that will come to life one of these days. Whether it be publication or commission, I will gladly take whichever.

⇂ Commission Prices! ↿

My prices are very simple.
They are subject to change at any time with, or without, notice.

These are generally the full price of my works.
HOWEVER, there are some things that may change these prices.
- The number of characters
- Whether or not it is NSFW
- Certain subject matter
- Character PoV (first person is an upcharge, because it's difficult for me)

There is never an upcharge if I go above your paid word count if it was a hard count.
It's my own fault if I get carried away.

There is a half-cent (.005 cent) upcharge for every 1000 words (that's about $5 for every 1k words) I go over your word count if it was a soft count that you gave me.

Ever had a character, world, or lore idea just stuck in your head? Can't figure out their history or what kind of world they come from? Or maybe you just can't find the right words to describe the world and how it came to be?
Whatever the case, I can help you create that character sheet development, creation lore, and mythology that you're looking for. Starting from whatever ideas or material you're willing to give, I will work with you fromt he ground up to create a character or world for your own personal use.

A complete biography and history, a detailed description of the character, and key events in their life.
OR
A complete world creation and lore from the ground up, detailed with pantheon and key events in world creation.

Character Biographies start at a flat rate of $30. An additional charge of $10 for every 1000 words (1¢/1k words) after the first 3000 words.
World Creation start at a flat rate of $40. An additional charge of $10 for every 1000 words (1¢/1k words) after the first 3000 words.

⇁ I, Anthony W./Styhx/Toast, retain copyright to the piece of writing that is created by myself. This means that my writing can and may be used as examples in portfolios, etc. Please do not alter, copy, or claim any of my pieces as your own work. Commissions can be uploaded only by myself, and the commissioner (with credits). Do not resell my work.

⇁ My commission turn around time varies. It typically depends on the length of the piece in question. Generally, anything less than 2k words will be turned out in a week or two. Anything longer will take perhaps two-three weeks. Once we hit the 5k+ mark, then it all depends on the content and many other variables.

⇁ I do offer WIP updates! I do a pre-write 'sketch' in which I try to describe the entire story within a single paragraph so that I have something to work from. You will receive a copy of that, as well as a copy of the rough draft, and then the final draft. If you request anything to be altered, it must be done between the sketch and the first draft. Once the final rewrite has started, it will be in the final draft and nothing more will be changed.
↬ On this note, if I am doing things longhanded, I am more than willing to send to you photos of the progress of your writing. My handwriting is generally nice enough that you can read it.

⇁ I work full-time, and I write as a hobby and for a minor second income. Please recognize that if something in my regular, offline life happens that is big and monstrous, your works may be pushed back temporarily. If something life changing happens, you will be issued as much of a refund as I can do.

⇁ The more you bother me about your work, the more pressured I feel, and the less good the whole thing will turn out. I will end up rushing if you bother me, and neither of us wants that. That being said, however, if you notice that I've dropped off of the face of the world without any prior notice to you or the community, please feel free to send an inquiry. Just a little reminder, something nice and to the point. No need to shout and rage. More than likely, something's been going on that I couldn't avoid.

⇁ I have the right to postpone a project for important life reasons (school, work, health reasons). I will always let you know before I fall off the face of the internet to recover, however. I will always try my hardest to keep these interruptions limited.

⇁ I do, in fact, work on personal projects in-between working on commissions. Please do not rant and rage if you happen to see me upload something that might not be at all related to your commission. I have the need to vent and write and work on my personal pieces as well.

⇁ I reserve the right to deny any commissions/trades/requests if I feel uncomfortable about the subject matter, or if I feel that it's not something I can produce with the quality that I would like. Please do not push me on these subjects.

⇁ The price list is a basic overview of my prices. These prices may change due to content and complexity of the written piece.

⇁ Payment must be sent through Paypal in USD. I will ask for your paypal info through note/skype/email, and send you a link. Tips are accepted and appreciated.

⇁ Rush and Private commissions (private commissions are writing pieces that I will not post up anywhere online for others to see, I will email it to you, and only you, and you will forfeit the choice to upload it to your own account as well) will be available with an additional minor upcharge (which will be determined, by me, at the time of service requested).

⇁ Commissions will not be started until at least a partial payment has been sent. If you decide to cancel a commission that hasn't been started, or is still in the 'sketch' stage, you will get a refund with only a minor deposit charge.

⇁ You will not be refunded for a completed or near-completed commission unless there is something genuinely wrong with my quality and work. If this is the case, I will gladly re-do any work for the commission.

⇁ Payment plans will be available for the higher priced, longer word count commissions. We will talk about this first and foremost. A downpayment must still be made in order for me to start working on the writing.

But no, seriously. I've decided to take an active role in the community! And by active role, I totally mean that I will up uploading things onto my furaffinity account! And by things, I mean writing!

Because I literally cannot do anything else with my life except write. And I am okay with that.

I will be writing for myself (short stories, drabbles, maybe even a big project), and I will also be accepting a few commission pieces as well. (Hey look, I actually filled out my profile. It looks like shit, but whatever, it's all the information I thought I needed to put up at midnight o'clock on a friday night after eight hours of work, go figure) All of my commission info will be inside of a link on the front of my profile page, as well as a journal I will be posting sometime next week. Probably monday or tuesday, since I'm off work those days.
