I'm not a Dewgong anymore!
Posted 2 years agoOkay, this might be a bit out of the blue for some people, but I'm officially retiring Dewgong as my main sona and replacing him with frog Draft. I love Charles, and he will still be around as an OC, but I never felt like he represented myself much. This is somewhat of a soft reboot for me. (And no, this is not a joke or bit)
Draft the frog is me now. Not really a character, just a representation of myself.
I humbly ask of you guys to not refer to me as Dewgong or Charles anymore. I know it might take some getting used to, and might not be instantly, but I'd love you to try.

Posted 2 years agoSo my Twitter was suspended because I was joking about punching transphobes there. I guess it's a very bad faith ban, but technically I broke the rules so I'm willing to take the L here.
Since no one knows who will get the boot from FA for the dumb rule change involving Pokémon, this might be it for me here too.

About New FA policy change
Posted 2 years agoIt shouldn't be a surprise to anyone why FA is a trash website stuck in the early 00s. Design-wise and function-wise it's a pain in the ass to deal with. I don't really care if I get banned for posting Pokémon works, just follow me on Twitter. I won't delete anything here. None of my characters are minors, and I never drew any minor on purpose. Cartoon monsters are not children. Macro/Micro is not inherently sexual.
So I dunno, maybe this policy change finally means we can be done with FA once and for all. So there's a silver lining.

Opening 5 Sketch Commission Slots (25EUR)

I decided to try to open for April sketch comms! I'm in need for some extra cash and thought that could help me out a little.
I'd charge 25EUR for a sketch with two characters and just a rudimentary background.

I'm in a bit of financial trouble, so I'm considering opening a Patreon. I'd offer monthly sketch rewards for 30 bucks, and access to exclusive sketches, WIPs and such for smaller pledges.
Would anyone of you be interested supporting me that way? Before I do it, I would like to test the waters and see if people are positive about that idea.

About the Requests
Posted 5 years agoSoooo guys, I was super flattered to get around 40 ideas over night. That's just... wow, thanks a lot for your trust.
Let's jump straight to the point: I decided to draw more than three requests. How many? I don't know. You just gaaave me way too many cute ideas, seriously.
I'll just draw a few more, probably during this and the next week, and post another journal when I'm done.

thanks for everyone who gave me a request idea!
I got around 40 suggestions, which I would have never expected, so I'm flattered <3
I used this as a little challange. To see whether I'd be able to finish pieces on a daily basis. And I really suceeded, drawing one image every day for the whole week, including colored pieces, a shaded piece, a comic and a few greyscaled pieces.
Won't accept any more ideas at this point. For now, I'll focus more on personal projects, and not stress/push myself to finish any more requests. So, you can consider the whole request-thing to be over.
However, I'll be keeping the ideas I got, and might draw a few more of them whenever I feel like it. There's no guarantee, of course.

Just wanted to announce that I won't draw for other people in any way in the near future, including Collabs and Trades. It's just too stressful for me to do. I will take forever to complete something, anyway, and it's not fun for anyone.
I still have some Collabs in the works, those will obviously be completed, but please respect if I'm taking my time with them.

Also, I feel like I'm getting worse instead of improving for weeks now. Maybe it's not the right hobby for me, after all. Thanks for your understanding, and sorry for venting.
