Dance.
Posted a year agoThere is a ballroom far away, where every so often 8 dancers come out to ballet. The venue is the vast emptiness of space, and the audience is the eyes reading or seeing this. The dancers always finish with a waltz, and one partner of the duets will fall backwards through the ground, drifting into the void of nothingness. For a second, it's like a blanket has been brought over them, where time stops but they do not, as they watch the frozen universe slip away past the event horizon. Once the curtain has been closed, the dancers go back into their stations, ready to repeat the event. They dance not knowing whether or not they are whole or if they will remember the next time they dance, but they dance anyway.
I am lost, or blind, inside.
Posted 5 years agoMy spirit is surrounded by a void, in which I see no escape. Endless space, timeless, neither hot or cold. I emit my light and it reflects off nothing. I don't know where I am. I feel like I was here before in the opposite situation in a past life, where once my light was reflected off the love of my life, my world was torn asunder. But unlike the powerful roar that world emitted amidst its extinguishment like a matchstick pinched, I hear and see nothing now.
My person is surrounded by people I love immensely, a beautiful wonderous world that never ceases to amaze me, I look to the heavens and for a sliver of time I feel as though the void has the faint light of starlight; and so I live on.
That is to say, I am uncertain. I wish I could love myself the way I want to love others, or the way I love the world of nature and space.
