Side note to previous journal. I know art theft is a thing. I'm not naive enough to insist it isn't. I know there are ways to deal with it if and when it happens. I'm not super worried it'll happen to me. What I care about is that this whole sake happened in such a shady way. I care about the artists I respect and look up to having their shit stolen so quickly after this whore thing went public. I carte about this site suddenly being a property of a publicly traded corporation which has little to no interest in protecting an artist's rights to their own works. This whole business has been handled poorly and I don't see any moves to stay handling it better. I doubt anybody in a position of power on this site gives a crap about what I think and I don't expect them to but I am going to look out for myself and I am going to stand by the many artists that I have looked up to for years. It may be stupid and drastic to clear everything out because of my principles but that's what I'm doing.

So I don't have to worry about this much because I'm not super well-known or anything but with the reports of artists having their art used for profit without their permission I'm emptying my gallery as a show of solidarity. I'll keep this account open because I've had it for over a decade and I have some attachment to it but I'll be posting on other sites from now on. Admin can't protect artists from predatory uses of artists intellectual property on this site anymore and that can't be tolerated. If anyone needs to get a hold of me by all means continue to use this site to do so but I'm never posting here again. Links to my Wesyl and SoFurry accounts are in my profile info for those that are interested in continuing to view and support my work.

So I accidentally hit the nuke button when I was trying to thanks folks for faving and watching. I meant to thank you all individually but I;m an idiot and bad at computers and junk so yeah. This is my thank you to all you fine folks who have recently liked my silly drawings.

A note about my last few submissions which i think is funny and interesting and worth sharing (probably isn't to anyone but me): All of those pictures where drawn in our car in the parking lot of a plasma donation place. I'm a pussy about needles so I didn't go in. Instead I sat in the car (which since it was August was probably way too toasty to be safe) and drew while my boyfriend and all my closet friends had their life blood sucked out and put back in. Isn't that crazy? Aren't I a hoot?
