Hello All! I know I am not on here very often but am working to be more social.

I have a question to pose to all who read this.........................

I am working on a partial suit to have completed by RMFC (God willing) and am looking to make a few decisions as to whether or not I should be more colorful or more traditional.

My partial is set to have a more toony head, wings, and a tail. As most of you know I am a snowy owl with purple eyes and grey or black spots. Right now I am set to be completely white with purple eyes. The question that I pose is should I stick to traditional colors and just be black and white with purple eyes or should I go ahead an incorporate my favorite color into the costume instead. If you haven't guessed it, the additional color would be purple.

I think we are going to incorporate some purple feathering around the eyes already to play those up but I am torn as to whether or not to have my "spotting" on the tail and wings be purple.

Any comments, ideas, or suggestions would be helpful and appreciated.

Hello all that are going to read this journal. So  furgoneconclusions and I have been pretty much MIA for a few months. Things are still a mess but getting better, I hope. I have recovered well from my brain surgery just in time for me to fracture my ankle bad enough that I am out of work again for a few weeks. I am really getting tired of it all and want to scream.

But on a lighter note we will hopefully get to go to the RMFC this year and maybe have a table to show off some of our stuff. Missing everyone on here and am so appreciative of all the support that we received. Everyone is awesome. I am trying to get some badges made for people at furcon using a "different" medium.

If anyone is willing to be a guinea pig for me to try to make a badge for this years RMFC I will take the first 5 or so people that want a badge made for free. Yes these will be for FREE since I need to get some practice in so that I can possibly sell the badges at the FURCON here in Denver. So message me if you want one and that way I can use one of your pictures to make into a badge.

Hey there guys. I don't normally blog or journal for other people to read but I figured I would give it a shot on here. If any of you are watchers of my mate  furgoneconclusions then you may have read his journal seen here http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2025636/. He has opened his commissions for a deck of playing cards in hope to generate some missing income for the next few months. While he did say a little bit of why he is doing this I have decided to give a little bit more info without going into the "messy" parts.

I have a rare congenital (means born with it) malformation in my skull. To keep it in layman's terms part of my brain is being smashed between my spine and my skull which creates these horrible headaches. Then to top it all off I fell at work messing up my neck even more. So due to all of the problems from these two things put together the doctor's have decided that pushing my surgery up to this month is the best thing for me. So next week, on Thursday to be exact, I get to have brain surgery to release the pressure in my head and with any luck stop all of my medical problems. That is to say that I shouldn't have any more headaches. YAY for me!

In doing this I am out of work for the next month or two while I recover. Once I get home from the hospital I am going to be on extreme down time. Which for anyone that knows me well will understand this will be an issue as I have four children and am constantly busy. So it will be a test in patience. The main problem with me being out of work right now is that worker's compensation still has not determined whether or not I am going to be paid for the time I am missing.

So on top of brain surgery and no income we, my mate and I, are under a lot of stress. I want to thank everyone that has put in for a commissioned card and I can't wait for you to see them. I have been watching as they unfold and it is truly a very fun experience. Feel free to drop a line to me or my mate if you want to chat or have any questions. I am not afraid to talk about any of this.

We will see if I continue to journal or not in the future. LOL
