It really feels hard to keep motivation as an artist. I often wonder if I am at the point where I cannot grow anymore and people are just uninterested in what I am doing. I don't know if its my style, the content or what. When I do try different things, it usually does really poorly so I am in a rock and a hard place. It could also be paranoia or fear of failure but it has been weighing on my mind a lot. The fears that my art career could be ending and I fade into obscurity.

It is hard and can be so demotivating and just consumes me in perpetual depression.

Furaffinity has been a huge part of my life. It still continues to be. I genuinely do love this place and the friends and fans I have met along the way. I am making this journal to inform people that I deleted the public discord server.
I created that server in order to be a place that I felt happy to chat with my community and feel motivated to draw
and just overall feel more positive. It failed that purpose spectacularly being a place that I felt I was a babysitter for
and constantly dealing with terrible people.

I felt no happiness or joy there and only felt stress. So I deleted it and do not plan to make
a new one. If anything, from this point forward, I plan to keep social interactions to just business.

I am just curious about what would people prefer.

Larger multi character YCH with auctions ( like 4+ characters in one image )

Smaller unique pose auctions ( Like 1 or 2 characters but each image is a different image )

or

multiple Single character same pose YCH with a set price. ( So something like 10 images of the same pose but different characters )


Just trying to see what people are into before I finally get into doing this. Any input would help out.

So there's a lot of talk so I guess I'll say my piece.

- None of this affects me. So personally I do not care. I've seen people screaming about how things like Pokemon are banned. It's not, it is Pokemon and Digimon with a childlike or adolescent body. You just don't make things look like a kid, age it up if you have to, that's all. I can understand how that can be a challenge for some but that's just the situation.

- FA's biggest issue is immediately suspending accounts before even telling the artists what they did wrong. The mods do not even give an artist time to remove the offending content, just immediately slap a 30 day ban. That's horrible and makes people leave your platform. Give people a chance to fix their mistake then suspend them if they fail to in a certain time. Even Deviantart allows this, holy shit.

- A lot of these rules are not new and have always been around. It's just added clarification though some of the clarification is a bit awkward. Like.... For most, vore is a fetish. Writing it off as not one is just weird when you say vore with minors is okay. Like....really?

- I do sincerely believe that the mods need to re-examine the rules, the way they word it and their way of punishment and rethink it. FA is a pretty nice place but stuff like this is just a pretty bad look. I still stand by the biggest offense is the overly hard punishment with zero warning until after the fact.

Tl;dr:

- Many rules are not even new, just worded differently and awkward. It also comes off very hypocritical.
- The biggest issue is FA's hard handed handling of punishment with no warning. Like just give a damn warning first.
- Most people freaking out will be fine. Not saying there isn't issues, there are absolutely.
- This is just my opinion. I normally do not even bother with most drama because it's a waste of my time. But this could have been done better on FA's part. If you can't be clear, hire someone to proofread your rules first.

I'm curious how many people follow me here that plays Final Fantasy XIV. Trying to find more peeps to play with and carry me in Savage lol.

The carrying part is a joke. I've cleared Asphodelos Savage and am currently on P8S Phase 2 near the end of the fight. It's just my group might be falling apart and I want the mount.
( I wanna thank those of you that offered to help ). Group is pushing through so hope I get the clear but I do sincerely hope I get the mount so I can just have White Stone Black playing everywhere I go.
