At Starbucks we have a biannual health audit come in and check our store. Basically just checking if under our fridges are clean, beans aren't expires, etc etc
Not a huge deal
Except for me. I love having tasks, I do. My old manager put me in charge of self auditing the store to make sure we were up to par. On our first audit we failed. Barely, but it was still considered a fail.
I was traumatized because it was my duty to make sure the store was good. Granted everyone has a part, but as the lead of it I took the blame on myself.
So, if we fail one and pass the other, no biggie. If we fail both, then there's a problem.
Our auditor came today and I was not prepared.
When I'm nervous I talk extremely fast, and I was trying to tell her to give us five minutes until the manager was ready but I spoke so fast the auditor didn't understand me and she just gave me this look that seemed like it lasted forever before she asked me to repeat myself.
Fuck I'm so not good at things like this, I don't know why I'm in charge I panic too easily.
I was finished my shift before the audit finished so I'm not even certain we passed yet. I'm freaking out.
It literally does nothing to damage my rep if we fail but I just. Ahh.
I need a nap.

So who here has seen Rocky Horror Picture Show~?
There's a little one-room theatre down by my house that shows it on Halloween and the day after as an interactive version (audience participation)
IF you don't know about the hidden script look it up, its pretty hilarious.
Anyways, the movie's good, but it's also an excellent opportunity for me to dress in ridiculous drag and it be acceptable.
Long story short, if you haven't seen it, go see it. It's fantastic, has transvestites, and Tim Curry. Best combo ever.

So I went to my brother's house this weekend and was incredibly jealous of his artwork as usual. He drew a rad-ass bear on a canvas and sold it for $300. Looks like I need to get into traditional artwork.
I'm stepping out of my comfort zone and am going traditional!!

Commissions Open to buy bike wheel

Again, I haven't had any bites yet :/
Um, the wheel off my bike was stolen, the bike I used daily to get to and from work cheaply, not I have to rely on walking and transit which is still doable, but expensive as I have to pay $6 a day, which is an extra $30 a week I can't really afford right now. It might not seem like much to people, but that's $120 a month going towards just travelling, and I'm barely making enough as it is for rent and bills.
Anyways to the point.
I can find a cheap bike wheel on like, craigslist/kijiji for $30 approximately. So I really only need to sell one commission, or I'm willing to do three colored sketches.
I really just need the money as quickly as I can so I can get back to taking my bike to work.
I'm in a really bad mood right now as well, seeing as my landlord basically told me I 'had it coming' for locking my bike up outside against the fence, when he won't install a bike rack for our apartment. There are four other bikes parked on the fence, so I guess just bad luck had it that mine was the one taken.
Plus I had to work an hour overtime today because my manager is a POS and doesn't schedule properly, and the brand new closing shift was basically by himself so I stayed to help out.
Any ways I'm in a bad mood, and I could really use a cheering up by someone buying a commission, or even just doing a shoutout or something. I don't know.
I have that multi-use base up for sale as well, I'll be reposting that here soon to maybe reel in some interest but who knows. Whatever.

I've voiced my opinions, but I'm shutting my mouth now.
No matter what I say there's a counter argument, and I'm really in no state of mine to be arguing with people who are not listening to the point I'm saying.
It's not about attacking a single person. It's trying to shut down the operation as a whole.
Rape is not a light topic, nor do I think people should be drawing it, rolepaying it, or creating characters based off it. To each their own, but that's frankly not something I like to see or endorse.
So if we can convince one person at a time to stop endorsing rape, then maybe it'll finally stop happening in real life.
That's my opinion on the matter.
I won't be replying to anyone furthering this topic, so don't even try.

I'm just starting to realize that my lack in Creative Flow is stemming from my supreme amount of stress at work.
Why I didn't realized this sooner is beyond me. I haven't been able to draw, write, design, craft, sculpt, do my perler beads, or even play videogames lately. I just have not been in the mood for it. I sit down and suddenly I just want to stare at the wall for hours.
I'm so stressed about work, my mind doesn't know how to relax anymore. And it's driving me even more mental.
So until my work situation gets better (ie I get a new job or my current manager gets her fucking dumbass fired), I'll be gone from this site, just a small haitus. I'll keep everything up, and I'll probably check my messages from time to time. I have no other purpose here if I'm not getting commissions and/or have no art to submit.
I'll come back when I have a new job and my art flow comes back to me. Thanks guys!
