I didn’t think I’d ever have to make a journal like this but in light of some recent interactions I just wanna lay out some ground rules for contact with me. I’m more than happy to chat with anyone! I have my socials listed for that very reason. Discord will probably get you a faster response than Telegram since I’m a bit more active there. I may be shy but I don’t bite.

However here are my boundaries:

1.) do not contact me to ask me to commission you. It’s an automatic no.

2.) do not contact with only the intent of roleplaying/sexting/soliciting pictures or videos. I do not want to see your genitalia and no I will not rate it.

3) if I do not get back to you quickly please do not spam me. I see your message and I will get to it in due time.

It’s been a moment since I’ve posted a journal. Figured I’d give the hand full of y’all who pay attention an update into what’s going on.

Firstly I’ve been through some wild rides on the job front. I had a job that over all I actually did like, I just had a difficult coworker who used and abused the work from home ability causing my work days to be more stressful than needed. It drove me into looking for a different job that was 100% work from home. I found one but it’s a call center. I gave my two weeks and my manager tried to keep me, even beat out the offer that the call center had given me. But I was already in my feelings and thought that the grass would be greener.

Fast forward to 5 months later and I hate my job. The shift makes it so I can’t spend time with my husband, and I must work every Saturday. Taking away even more time from him. My level of hire is the only level that does not rotate on Saturdays, and it is such a drag. Monday to Friday I’m off work at 9pm, my husband is in bed by then. Saturday it’s 5:30pm but I have to take the day to do chores and grocery shopping. My wolf usually does not enjoy going out on the weekends since he has an hour drive one way to and from work during the work week so I try not to bug him too much in going shopping with me.

Basically Sunday is the only day I really get to spend with him. It’s been difficult, and being 100% remote makes me feel like a prisoner in my own home. I thought I could manage it, I’m fairly introverted. What introvert wouldn’t love working from home and not having to put pants on? Apparently me. I’ve reapplied to the company I worked for last year but so far one of the positions has been filled and the other, the manager (a friend) is aware and will be talking with the AVP of retail and AVP of HR to get my app pulled and an interview scheduled.

In the mean time I’ve applied to the DMV. I even had an interview today that I expect to get a job offer from. The downside is it’s a pay cut, a pretty decent one. The upside is it’s a 9-5 no weekends, holidays off and 3 weeks of pto, sick leave and vacation in total. I will probably accept the offer, but I’m hoping to hear back from my old job. I really fucked up, I shouldn’t have left.

My current job is just so…draining. I hate it, I’ve never felt so worthless and useless. Every call take a piece of me away, be it the client is overly rude and abusive or I have to deliver bad news and get to hear the heart break. They had placed their hopes in the company to help them to make a difference and assist and I get to be the one to say no. This has brought me to the point of realizing that I need to get therapy.

Other than that obviously my commissions will be slowing down a bit. All of this excluded I’m wanting to focus on more meaningful pieces and not just random YCHs. I want to get pieces of Suki and Dustin that are more realistic to us and me. I maybe selling a few of my other characters, as I just don’t connect with them or they were impulse buys to assist the artist out of a sticky spot. I may make a separate journal listing the ones I’m willing to part with and their art pieces if there is any interest.

TLDR; bitching about leaving a good job for a shitty one, looking for new job, expect less YCHs and more personalized commissions if/when I get them. Characters for sale, take a look??

Merry Christmas my dears! I hope that you all are enjoying your day with family friends and loved ones! For the Wolfram household we started early and festivities have gone off without a hitch! Dustin seems to really be enjoying his gifts. So I couldn’t ask for more. Also, keep an eye out I may just upload some new art today.

It’s been seven ish years since I’ve been active on this account. It’s been a while for sure! Anyway Dustin and I have been living our life together and seeing where it’s taking us. It hasn’t always been easy, but we are strapped in and enjoying the ride over all.

Yea...hubby is at sea again. This fucked up schedule the ship has their sailors on sucks, not to mention that he has a month long underway coming up along with a deployment. Just ugh, the days are just ticking by and the time we want to spend with one another is so fucking limited thanks to a butter bar who honestly needs his head pulled out of his own ass! He has been keeping the division late for at least two hours a day while the rest of the ship can go home. The good news in all of this is that thanks to friends of ours I got to have lunch with him on ship before they left out today.

Feeling lonely sucks especially when I know that I'm not alone. We have managed to text/Facebook a little today and it helps it helps so much. However there is still a piece missing, the warmth of his body next to mine as we drift asleep, him talking about Star Trek, putting together his models in the living room while we watch Netflix. Just all the little things. I'm ready for him to get into officer school or shore duty or just something to where he spends a nice amount of time at home instead of always at a place he doesn't want to be. Though it pays the bills I guess....

In other news our PS3 bit the dust last night/this morning. We think it over heated since its a gen one PS3. I've already ordered a replacement but it won't be here until Tuesday, so it looks like no Dead Space, Borderlands 2, or FF9 for me for a while. Ah well, I've got my DS and Pokemon Soul Silver to keep me busy enough. Thinking of pre ordering X or Y but I don't know just yet. We have a trip coming up that is gonna take a bit of money if the ship will let him go for it and then another one for Christmas. Maybe I'll get it while he is out on deployment, use some of the separation money or something.

I don't know just needed to rant or something and seeing as how no one is on Skype...ah well this to shall pass yea?

Okay, I really didn't think that this would be needed as for the most part people have a good deal of common knowledge and respect for others however! I've come across art that I have commissioned being posted to other websites by people who think that the art is nifty or they like Suki or what have you. I am NOT okay with this! So far all of the issues have been resolved with out any drama or conflict. The only people who are able to re-post the commissions that I get are the people I got them for and obviously the artist as they hold and own the copyright to their creations. They are able to resell, make copies/prints etc of it but out side of that please do NOT take the commissions that I have gotten for my husband, pet, friends or myself to any website. Thank you if you like my character, but please do not post the art to other websites.

To get blah off my page and my mind on something different I figured I'd do up a birthday report. Well to kick things off Dustin gor me a Khalil Mamoon hookah! To be more specific this one. Its an amazing piece of art! The chill chamber with some cold water ice and a dash of salt really adds to the smoke, it helps keep it nice and thick! The pull from it is so easy, and the fact that its hand made makes it beautiful. It has a few nicks and dings in it but it came that way and again it's handmade so its going to have stuff like that and it only adds to her character.

He also got me a sweet glass wood and metal coffee table, purple candle lantern, Affliction by Laurell K Hamilton, a keep calm and raise a zombie t-shirt, something adult and we won't talk about that here, and a RC helicopter. By far the LARGEST birthday haul I've gotten since I was like ten. His family sent some cash and a bonsai tree as well but I really didn't expect anything from them. I thank them though! I swear I've lucked out and got some of the most chill in-laws ever.

As for what we did on my birthday well...it started with a Paula Dean recipe for french toast casserole that just...had WAY too much butter. If I hadn't been on autopilot I would have noticed that it was a freaking half a POUND of butter. Ick...so we tossed the casserole and went out for breakfast/brunch. From there we went to Dairy Queen and got my blizard cookies n cream icecream cake and a few blizards for ourselves. Once home we played Borderlands 2 with our secondary charters (psycho and a siren). As it got later in the day Dustin got up to make dinner witch was a very tastey shrimp scampi. Sadly I had an allergic reaction to the shrimp. ;.;

Over all the best birthday ever. It was amazing to finally be able to spend on with him. <3

The hubby just got back from a week long underway (yay!) but while he was gone for that week my moods just took...I don't even know...and its not like they were all negative! When I was happy it was so freaking awesome but the others jeez...it was just so odd, and I'm still feeling off. Kinda just like ever so slightly out of step with everything. I hate feel like like this, because I just go from being fine and cool with whatever to just cranky and grumpy. For those of you who have texted me or have me on some im service or another this is why I haven't been talking to you. I'm sorry to be rude but with my moods I decided that perhaps I shouldn't be around much. Though with the hubby home hopefully he can help me out of this.

Yup my birthday is on the 13 what am I going to be up to? Some insane drinking and crazy antics? NOPE! This year is going to be full of relaxing and time with my hubby. <3 This year is all about relaxation and maybe some vault hunter level harshness in Borderlands 2 might have a Mike's Hard lemonade or two. As for what I want in gifts? Absolutely NOTHING! I've got my mate with me finally and I want for nothing. <3

So our apartment complex once a month seems to shut off the water for a whole day due to a water main busting for the past three months. It fucking sucks as it runs our water bill up they let the main leak for days on end right into the gutter and then it jacks our rent up damn near 100 bucks a month! Seriously they never want to come out a fix up the apartment we end up doing most of the work our selves...like our garbage disposal went out we told them about it WEEKS ago nothing happened if it wasn't for my father in law it would still be broken.

We've talked about writing down whats wrong with the place when we talked to management about it maybe get them to sign the slip of paper saying that we talked to them about it and in a month or so if nothing is done contact a third party repair company and get this shit fixed and make the apartment complex foot the bill. Hell maybe even go to JAG and see if we have any legal high ground to do this...I don't know I'm just sick of people not doing their damn jobs and making US pay for THEIR fuck ups.

Soo its been a while since I've posted a journal and honestly even chatted with people online. We got the apartment there are a few issues with it and most of them have been fixed the others well...the office knows about it and its their choice to not fix it if they choose not to. For the most part its small stuff like the clock on the stove no longer works, the ice maker in the freezer doesn't work (and never has), and the guest and master bathroom has no water pressure when you turn on the hot water. Hell there isn't much hot water drawn to the showers. But meh we will keep pestering the front office and if they keep choosing not to fix this stuff then we will make sure that they know it wasn't because of us.

We got a living room set from our dear friends and Othello, and a nice bed from mattress firm. Our place is pretty much furnished we are only missing a washer, dryer, and dining room set for the stuff that we -need-. As for what we want another bed for our guest room, a few end tables for the living room, and I'd like another lamp for my side of the bed in our room.

But the MOST amazing thing happened last weekend...my mate of five years and I got married!! I now have a husband, and it just feel so right. When we lay in bed with me curled around him his arms around me I don't want to be anywhere else. We compliment each other so amazingly and really just balance each other out. We didn't have a ceremony due to funds and other things but we will have one in October where all of our friends and family will hopefully attend the theme is steampunk so now I've gotta find a dress design or something that will work with in the theme!! *giggles and squees* God I'm so excited...just to be out here with my mate, to finally be married to him, and to be planning out wedding. Wish me luck guys!
