So, since I haven't been able to actually teach (my job), I've been drawing instead...BUT I haven't posted, so I'm currently trying to post everything (hence why I've posted several things of Issac today).

Why haven't I posted? Well, first reason is I'm lazy about posting to be honest. Second is my external hard drive where I keep my files crashed on me a couple of weeks ago (luckily I had my saved artworks in another place as well) and it took me a week to recover data and make extra backups.

Usually my reason is although I sketch I don't usually take the time or energy to color my sketches when I'm teaching (kids are like little energy vampires, I swear). Not that I dislike my job--man when they get a concept I feel so accomplished with them, plus I get to have them do games so that's fun to see them get real into it (I'm an English teacher).

Currently though classes are on hold and I've had all the time in the world to watch movies and shows, draw, write, read and play games. Who knew a pandemic would allow me to be more productive for my creative side. Probably one of the only good points about it.

Anyway, look forward to more art (and probably more Issac).

Greetings, it's been a while. I haven't posted much on here since I was traveling all summer last year and my new job and career have been keeping me busy. I still draw a lot, but I haven't gotten around to finishing that many actual art works.

I shall try to post some sketches and finished works more often when I have time and think about it now though!

But yes, I exist and am still drawing. Just not posting. ^^;

I swear. I do. I've just been spending my time traveling instead of coloring. Most of my sketches and pictures end up on my Instagram (ssummers92) and no where else, aha.

So commissions are open, and I'm now back to finally posting work again. I haven't spent a whole lot of time online since I got back to the States since I've been with family and friends, but I have been drawing. I leave the States again on Feb. 18th, and I plan to be pretty busy for about a week and a half after that, so expect commissions to be closed during that time frame.

Anyway, I hope you guys had a wonderful holiday time and that they New Year brings some good fortune! I personally just want my cough I've had to go away.

I finally have time to myself, so now I can finish some art works again. Also, because I do now have more watercolor pencils and color pencils with me, I will be opening them as options for commissions tomorrow!
In other commission related news, they will be closed from December 21st to about January 5th as I will be traveling and visiting family for the holidays during that time.
Other than that, I don't have much in announcements other than that I'm alive. November had been a very busy month plus being sick, but now it's over! I'm now having fun drawing some Christmas themed chibis and other things, and may consider doing some YCH sometime in the future--we shall see.

Okay, so I'm finally online again after traveling to see family and going to one of my planned Concerts for the summer (Goddamn Monsta X was fucking fantastic!), and I have news.

I am studying abroad for a year starting at the end of August--I am bringing my tablet, but obviously I cannot take all 200 something of my markers and such. Therefore, all traditional art commissions will be closed starting this weekend. I'm going ahead and closing them now because I have a lot of personal art to color and things to do to prepare for my departure.

This is a short notice thing, but I have been very busy and haven't spent a lot of time online recently, so sorry!

Sorry for the lack of activity. A death in the family occurred and has taken up much of my time and put some emotional strain on me. I am doing better, and my family is coping fine. So I shall start drawing and coloring things once again.

If you guys haven't noticed from the art postings, I finally have time again to line and color things. Which also means commission can be done as I work on my original stuff as well.
Although I do plan to start traveling in June on and off until August, which then I will be going overseas to study for a year. Therefore, starting at the end of August all traditional commissions will be closed! I may open the option for lineart instead, but I am unsure of that currently. For now things will stay as they are though.

My midterms are finally over, so now I can finish some art again.

And I will be officially studying overseas next year! I’m excited for the adventure that will be! I’ll learn so much, I can’t wait!

But yeah, I do live. Surprise.

I will be closing traditionally colored commissions up until the 16th of January starting today as I am not bringing my markers with me as I go visit my hometown for the break. Also, all commissions will be closed from December 23rd to January 2nd because I will be celebrating the holidays.

I've been busy with life things. 3 weeks off to visit family, work, looking for an apartment to move into in August, getting ready to go back to school, etc.. Yeah...

Just wanted to let you guys know that I do live! I've also been doodling, but I'll try to finish some things and post them soon.

I have 3 adopts up for $20usd each here.

The rules are as follows:
-No holds--that means you can pay when you claim.
-Paypal only!
-You can change their markings/hair/etc. as long as they still adhere to what's on my species sheet.
-You will get a higher resolution via the email of your paypal account. I want to use the paypal email so I can make sure you get the adopt you pay for.

Note: I will add a simple anthro chibi for a simple reference! When you claim, please let me know at that time if you want the chibi as well.

I am thinking of making possible adopts of my Gemine species, anyone interested? I'm not sure if they will be anthro versions or just four-legged, maybe a mix depending on my time and willpower.

I don't usually get many journal comments or what not, but I did want to give more of a heads up that I was seriously considering it. They'll probably be $20, due to my drawing and designing them.

Hah, I forgot to announce my return and the reopening of commissions--I've been fairly busy upon my return though with several things. Anyways, Commissions are back open! My Etsy shop is as well!

Starting December 23rd at 12pm Central time Commissions will be closed until the 5th of January! I am going out of state to visit family for the Holidays so I will be unable to scan or digitally color anything (Besides, no offense to anyone, but I'd rather visit with my family than work on commissions.) Oh, and this also includes my eeveelution key chains! I will be closing my etsy shop for the same time period as my commissions.

So if you want a commission or eeveelution key chain before Christmas, you need to ask before noon on the 23rd of this month! :)

My eeveelutions are now available to buy in my new Etsy Shop (https://www.etsy.com/shop/SummersArt22)! They are ~2-1.5 inches tall and semi-clear on phone charm lanyards.

Depending on sales and/or feed back, I make make custom charms available in the future as well. We shall see.

So I finally finished lining and coloring all the eeveelutions! You can go and see their shiny versions on my tumblr.

Within the next 2-3 weeks I'll be working on making them into plastic keychains to sell on my etsy. I'll update this journal when I do providing the link to them! I have to wait for some materials I need to come in though, and have a job to work around--which is why I can't give an exact estimate of when they'll be available. They will probably be $10-$15 usd with a little in shipping costs; I haven't decided yet.

Anyway, I shall update here when they are ready!

I've been so busy with work, that my time to finish artworks or even been online has been limited. My schedule's not going to be as cluttered now though, so expect (hopefully) something to appear in the near future!

Hey guys, I live!

After my birthday, I have been working on my MFA application (which is submitted now, so wish me luck!) and that took up most of my time. Now that I'm done with that (for the moment at least), I can hopefully get to drawing again.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I am still around and breathing.

From my vacation--a bit sad it's over, but now I feel I need a rest from my vacation (My trip involved a lot of walking and going to sleep late then waking up early).

On another note, Commissions are open! Except there is a hitch! I will not be doing any work on the 22nd of June (Monday) since it's my birthday. I'm getting myself a cookie cake and playing video games/watching movies with my pals with a needy cat snuggled up to me rather than do something for somebody else!

It will be fantastic.

I really want that cookie cake now...

I am leaving for vacation on June 5th and will be back some time around the 15th-16th and then may be gone the weekend before the 22nd (for Birthday celebratory purposes). Therefore, I will have to close commissions during that those time frames.

On a more positive note though, I should be having more time to draw and not be as tired soon. :) So that makes me happy!

Due to my time being more on the limited side, I have raised commission prices. Also, I have decided on opening commissions for stickers and plastic keychains and will post the prices soon.

Hey guys, I might start offering plastic chibi key chains as commissions for $8.50 (materials and mailing out) and stickers for an extra $1 since I have to mail them out too. I would like some feedback on this idea though.

Oh yeah, my free time for commissions is getting a bit tight lately, so the prices might go up because of that--we shall see.
