I'm open for June-July plushie commissions!

I'd like to try doing some 7-8 inch sitting or 9 inch standing anthro OCs. They would have machine embroidered eyes and faces. I have 8+ years of sewing experience, and I'm proficient in using machine embroidery software to create original embroidery patterns.

Pricing would start between $100-120 USD (without clothing).

I realize the pricing is a bit low compared to other plush makers, but I'm hoping to build a solid body of quality work I can show while paying some bills. Plushies would be made with minky. I have quite a few minky colors on hand, but I may need to order more. If that is the case, then it could take up to 4 weeks before the fabric arrives and I can begin work.

Commercial Projects

I am currently not available for commercial projects as I am uncomfortable with creating commercial patterns. If you commission me, then the plush must be for your personal use.

Payment

My prices are in USD. I accept payment through Paypal or Big Cartel shop (Summerstarart.bigcartel.com). Payment is due upfront before I begin any work. Payment plans may be available. Partial or full refunds may also be available for uncompleted commissions but only so long as it is a character I can sell upon completion. Original character designs will not be refunded.

If you are the age of 18, a guardian or consenting adult of legal age must place your order for you.

If, for whatever reason, I cannot complete the commission a full refund will be issued.

Price

Price differs depending on a variety of factors, including:
• Size
• Materials
• Complexity of machine embroidery
• Complexity of pattern
• Number of removable/wearable outfits
• Country of residence; shipping prices vary from country to country. Customs are the responsibility of the buyer

Completion Time and Shipping

Completion times may vary depending on the project. My completion times will depend entirely on the fabric and materials I have on hand versus what I need to order to complete your commission. Fulfillment and shipping times for many fabric or supply shops have increased dramatically since the pandemic started, so it’s difficult to judge just how long it may take right now. Right now, I currently estimate I may need 4-8 weeks to complete your commission.

I will do my utmost to keep buyers informed on the progress of their commission(s).

Queue order

I would prefer to go in order of payment (first come, first served), but there may be times where I work out of order. This issue depends entirely on what materials I have on hand. If you see I am working on another commission other than yours, it’s likely because I am waiting on materials to arrive before I can begin your commission.

Hi, my name is Steph!

I'm an accounting graduate student with a passion for drawing, plush making, and comics. I have two fur babies named Barnaby and Chloe.

My goals for 2019 are to start uploading my artwork online and selling the plush I make. I love the idea of starting a Patreon and drawing comics for a living, but I don't think I'm quite at the level of popularity or dedication needed to do that yet.

Some of my interests include soap making, quilting, cross-stitching, and sculpting. In the future, I'd love to learn how to make fursuits and buy a 3D printer.
