On JULY 14TH is...FURNANZA..junior that is.
This is being put together by members of EFM..and because a private property is being used, there will be some clearances on attendance.
Right now, it would be great to have a few items available for raffles to raise funds for the SPCA charity and also for Red Creek Wildlife Center. Who knows..Maybe I can arrange for a Raptor Presentation for everyone.
anyways..for those who may have interest in Furnanza Junior..please send a note my way and then I can start coordinating some ideas.

I am glad I and my little ones spend time with Jim Martin and Nonsanity and crew in the puppetorium at AC. If you have NOT spent time in the puppetorium at AC..well bloody wise up and realize that some very very cool and amazing people are not interested in sexual weirdness and do NOT like trolls. Frankly..I hope Kage and the AC board and others who run other cons start realizing... if it is allowed for people to alienate those of us who are families and such..you are just making the negative impressions of furries more justified.
Anyways...
I hope that there are events that are not going to be unwelcoming to those of us that do have the next generation in our charge.

all I can say is...once again some people need to be publically exposed, humiliated and held accountable.
granted it is not just furries who are bloody mentally impaired idiots beyond belief..but really....
I must now go meditate seriously about what this means about some ideas and thoughts...
I hope others will stop protecting morons who are not able to function in society

General | Posted 13 years agoAlas...one of the hardest things I ever have to do is euthanize one of my own animals..especially one that is close to my children. Sadly..my kids know the frailty of life all too well yet also understand the necessity to sometimes end suffering. I do this almost every day for clients..it does not make it easier for me to do..just means I very deeply understand what I am doing. So to my friends..pardon me while I go mentally prepare for once again become the Grim Reaper to visit. A dear good canine must find peace and I must do my duty to ease the way...

March is here..they say in like a Lion....
General | Posted 14 years agoSo it is now the month of March..the sign of end of winter and soon spring. And so they say it comes in like a Lion...giggles..and how interesting that it heralds the beginning of the month which is the first month of each year of my and White Lion's anniversary. Sometimes it is said there is a cosmic purpose to things..I do believe that happens at times for some of us.This weekend is hopefully going to be a pleasant and relaxing one ..and I really hope to get some more hobby related things done..guess we shall see.
Watch for some art or photos to get posted ..trying to work on a few things when I can to just have simple fun with.

thoughts on art and commission

but I also wanted to just make a comment on something that recently occurred to a friend of mine
mylordslover had recently made cute little running pixel icons for and and some friends and I and others suggested perhaps she should offer them as commissions. they were so cute and such fun for her.
She did go and get permissions from the base animation creator to use the base with her uniquely created art to make character animated icons to offer for a small fee..which basically is to pay for her time doing the artwork.
There are several other artists on FA who also do this and clearly credit the animation creator as such..just as she has. I am trying to understand why anyone thinks they have any right to tell her she is unethical.
By that logic..all the MLP are unethical, pokemon, you name it...
It just seems rather petty to be this way to someone doing original character artwork for a simple 2 or 3 dollar fee...makes me kinda wonder a bit
Anyways..i and my mate love our little running kitties and if you like them please check her out. BTW ..she draws cute ponies and chibis too

Finding the little things to have happiness with in life...
General | Posted 14 years agoSo the second month of the new year is over half way through and life continues on its bumpy road.
The last couple weekends have been spent with friends and our little ones just having fun and trying to enjoy having friends to be with.
Hanging with mylordslover and puttering with some drawings,off to meets with the gang from EFM and just whitelion242 and I and our "cubs" doing simple fun things with friends.
I am hoping that the next round of surgical procedures ease my physical pain enough to feel I can be more active again..because let me tell ya...pain meds are not fun when they make you feel weird.
And Lion and I are hoping we can get our home more situated and perhaps share time there with our friends come spring and summer.

General | Posted 14 years agoAs January ends,,,I now have to start pondering how the rest of this year will proceed.
I am still working on sorting out various issues. Lots of photos to work on ..just have to get more RAM in my lappy so I am not so frustrated with the photos.
I had a good time hosting panels at Furstivus and I am seriously considering doing some for Anthrocon.
I now am trying to figure how I tell my kids speed skating teammates what they are talking about when they talk about going to visit places with our "fursuit friends" ..eek gads
and..this is a classic set of requests ...my son asked me to help him draw an anthro cheetah racecar driver for one of his school projects (he drew the car) and my daughter has insisted on having me draw various critters for her friends *facepaws*... my skills are so rusty and they always ask for something hard
Guess i should try to practice more
Anyways...I may not be online as much as one thing is I started getting treatments for my spinal injures and some days I need to really try to rest the back or neck afterwards so sitting at a computer just hurts more than its worth. But I am hopeful that this is going to improve with the treatments.
I and Lion want to tell all our friends HAPPY NEW YEAR and we hope to get to hang out with everyone soon...in between all our work and family stuff.

Well one week left until Santa comes by (or for those who are uber ...the santa is satan but hey I still love the idea of Santa)
So much yet to do...
Hopefully this week will be a peaceful if hectic one and I hope all are getting themselves settled in for a wonderful Holiday with those they hold dear.
And now..maybe I can get done here at work and get home today....gads

Come join us for pictures with Santa from 11am to 3pm. A $5 donation gets you a picture of your pet with Santa. All proceeds go to helping Beagles find their forever homes, including those used in Lab Testing.
