So I'd been thinking things over, and I realized that--despite how long I've had this account--I don't feel like I'm able to fully start back up with writing and drawing after literal years of not being on here. I still love the username, sure, but right now it just feels weird being on this account after all this time.

That's why I decided to create a new account to have a fresh start! I've already got some new art pieces I've drawn, and while I still need to color things, I'm proud of how far I've come along art wise. c: It just makes sense to move on and have a fresh start where I can feel like I'm making progress with my work!

This account will still be here and it will serve as an archive of sorts, though I may post some of the old art on the new one if I'm particularly fond of it. UvU

So...been quite a while since I last updated...well, anything here. It's been what? Two years? Feels like it's been longer.

Anyway, hello everyone! Sorry for the (very) long period of silence, but I wanted to let you all know that I'm okay! I've just been busy with work and just enjoying my time offline on most websites. Social media just gets so tiring to keep up with after a while, so I've just been spending time watching movies and playing games. I've hardly even bothered to check this site for so long, I had way too many art notifications to sort though! 😱

A lot has changed since I was last on here, but it's not a bad thing. I've been focusing more on my writing and trying to write original stories and fanfics, though admittedly I have let my desire to draw kinda suffer on the sidelines. 😅 But lately I've been sketching and doodling more, so I'm improving in my art as I get back into the swing of things! (What is anatomy if not frustration and agony in drawing hands? 😂)

We'll have to wait and see how my art progresses to see if I feel like posting anything, but in the meantime I'll be checking in here and there.

Hey guys, just wanted to stop in and say hello since it's been a while.

I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for ghosting for a while. Due to work, it's been a little hard for me to get the energy to get on any of my accounts lately aside from discord, and even then I rarely feel like talking to people. For the most part, I've been spending the majority of my time working on my writing and less on art related stuff. I haven't given that up, I just...haven't really been motivated to draw lately.

But on the bright side, I've started reading some of my books again, and I've picked up origami as a new hobby! It's been really relaxing and fun, especially when you see the finished result! Sure, some things end up not looking so great when you try to figure out the folds, but that's okay--practice makes things better in the end!

I'm thinking of maybe making and posting some of the origami figures just for fun, since it really does help me feel accomplished in doing anything art related and they're so much fun! There's so much you can do, and I'm happy I finally took the time to attempt it.

I hope everyone else is doing okay, or at least doing what they can to take care of themselves. I'm not gone from here, I'm just working through some things and taking a bit of a break from the internet.

Hey guys. Feels like I keep falling in and out of activity on this site (or rather any site for that matter), and honestly I just find it a little hard to work up the motivation to upload stuff lately and I've been more focused on my writing as well as my job.

So a few updates:

o My birthday was two days ago, but due to some issues that came up I wasn't able to celebrate nor come on here to post about it. Didn't think there would be much of a point if I was a little preoccupied.

o The reason I wasn't able to celebrate my birthday was that I had a dental emergency come up that required me to call the dentist the day of. When I was getting a crown fitted for a tooth in the back that had been chipped, they noticed something odd about the tooth next to it and discovered it was a root canal. So we'd been trying to get that taken care of, and this past Thursday I had gone in for my second appointment to clean it out before they could schedule a crown for that tooth.

...unfortunately, there had been some bacteria that remained that got stirred up, and what I thought was normal swelling and muscle pain from having my mouth open for nearly two hours turned out to be an infection--hence, the dental emergency. (Thank goodness I didn't wait until Monday when they were open, or it might've been worse!)

Thankfully the dentist was able to see me on Sunday and clear out the majority of the gook and get me started on anti-biotics, so now my face (which had started swelling like a balloon) is now starting to go back to normal. We'll see how things go though. If all goes well, then I get the crown. If not? I end up getting the tooth pulled and maybe have to get a bridge for a new tooth. X'D


Anyway, not much of an update, but just wanted to let you guys know that I'm still okay even if I'm a little bit sore. XD Hope you guys are doing okay as well and remembering to take care of yourselves!

Hello again!

Hoo boy, these past two weeks have been crazy busy, but in a good way! I just recently moved to a new apartment to be closer to my new job, and I'm slowly finishing unpacking everything and making this place feel like home. It's so weird how we end up seeing just how much stuff we have when we need to pack it all up and have to move it, isn't it? XD

I've got a much bigger kitchen space now so I can have elbow room whenever I bake or cook anything--and I actually feel excited to cook more than just simple things! I haven't been this happy and excited to cook meals in a long time omg. ;;A;;

But what I really love is how I managed to get my office set up--now I have a proper workspace for my laptop and where I can sit and digitally color! :D Once I get a good rhythm going, I'm really excited to see how much coloring I can get done in such a comfy workspace now. TTvTT So while I still have a ways to go and I gotta figure out what my work schedule is going to be like, I feel like I'll actually be more productive now that I have room to breathe. XD

Hope you're all doing okay! Remember to be kind to yourselves and maybe even give yourself a favorite treat to make it into a special occasion--after all, no one said you had to wait for a special occasion to enjoy a nice treat! The treat can make it a special occasion on its own! :D

I know, it's getting a bit tiring for you guys to see me post these journals saying I'm going to be active and then I end up not following through. Life and motivation has been hell on me lately, so it's been hard for me to want to do much art-wise. I think in a way I might've been putting too much pressure on myself to finish work that I end up just...getting discouraged and just don't end up posting anything. Which also ends up in me feeling less active on here even though I check my messages and notifications.

Things are still a little chaotic in my life at the moment, what with me waiting to start this new job that--hopefully--I'll be able to start sometime next month (after many administrative delays) and moving to be closer to the position. But otherwise I am doing okay, just been focused more on writing than art or other things.

Today though, I was reminded of just how much fun I used to have with drawing and coloring backgrounds, and just how much I missed them. So I think I really want to try and draw backgrounds again, whether they're for a request or a challenge!

What sort of backgrounds would you guys like to see? Floating bubbles, starry night on the hills, a forest, mountains, lakes? Life under the sea? I'm curious! I may make them free to use with credit, though we'll see. U3U

I know I keep dropping in and out like that, but honestly things have been a little on the busy side for me so creativity wise I've been running a little dry. =w=

However, just recently--a couple of days ago at least--I feel as though I've discovered that same mojo I once had back in high school when I first started writing without worrying about perfection and just...having fun! It's been a huge relief just feeling that same creative flow of energy again, and I've been doing what I can to foster that and help it grow back into that surge I used to have--and maybe turn it into something greater! ;;o;;

What does this mean? Well at the moment since I'm slowly starting back into getting into writing short stories and scenarios again, I'm fine-tuning things. BUT! This also means that I should be able to take requests again!

HOWEVER!!! These requests will come with a few rules.

Rule 1: It is not first come, first serve! Depending on the number of people requesting, you will each be given a number (it will be a completely random number since it seems like going from 1 to 10 or whatever can be seen as unfair). Then, using randomized selector (I have a couple on my phone I can use and will provide screenshots of the before and after shots so it's not seen as playing favoritism or anything). I will only be doing one person at a time, and once I am done with that request I will post it and do the request randomization again. This is so I don't overwhelm myself so I can keep going! >83

Rule 2: These requests will happen based on my time and motivation and the amount of inspiration. As much as I am working on getting my writing back up to the pace I want it to be again, please keep in mind that if I am not inspired to write the idea (either too little detail was given on the scenario or the idea does not match the personalities/behaviors of the character's I'm being requested to write for), I may end up not being able to accept the idea at all. However! I am not completely unreasonable and am willing to work with you on creating another possible scenario so long as you're willing to work with me as well. I have my limits, and I want to give you the best product I can, and I don't want to put a half-assed effort into something that I don't feel I can accomplish the way you want.

Rule 3: When you are chosen, you MUST provide a scenario that you want me to write as well as the character you want me to write with and the character from the series I'm currently writing for. This includes: basic profile (if you have a profile image available that'll help, but is not necessary if you can give a short description), personality and their little quirks (what do they do when they're nervous, angry/annoyed, happy, etc), and any other information that you feel may be relevant to the scenario area you've given me. If I require more information or ask for more details, it's because I'm trying to get a clearer picture in my head on how to make this work, so please be patient I am a very curious and detail-oriented bat! ;;w;;

Rule 4: I will be making a list of fandoms and such I will write for. The catch is, I will only list those I am willing to write for at the moment! Much like what you crave during snack time, there are certain fandoms I am just itching to write for and my motivation is at an all-time high for that fandom! That is the fandom I feel at this time I will be able to properly give the best magical experience it deserves that I want to gift to you guys! This will change based on how I'm feeling, at least to try and help gain more traction creativity wise so I can write more. I don't want to lose this steam before it's even gotten started!

Rule # Now I'm not opposed to writing for fantasy/original character stuff outside of fandoms too! This will depend on the characters I'm provided with, but it's a possibility!

Rule 5: There will be times where I will be busy handling other real life obligations, so as a result there may be delays in how fast I can finish these things. If something comes up or I have to delay my writing, I will be sure to let you know right when it happens and keep you updated as often as I can! An occasional message checking up on me and asking how things are going is okay, but if it becomes too frequent I will give you only one warning to stop. If it ends up happening again, I will drop the request entirely and you will be banned from requesting anything from me. I am a human being, not a machine that spits out words on command, so please be respectful. :/

Rule 6: Once I complete a request for you, you are allowed to post it on your own art accounts so long as you give credit! Just note that I will be posting it on my art accounts as well as my writing accounts, so please don't go claiming credit for it. That is very rude, and if I catch you doing that I will permanently block, report, and ban you. >BC

Rule 7: There are topics I will not touch whatsoever as I am either not comfortable at the thought of writing that stuff or I do not feel as though I would be able to give it the proper representation it would need. If you are not sure if I will write for this particular subject/topic/whatever and you don't see it on my list, please message me about it first before asking for a request before a drawing I will have to turn you down and reopen the requests again. I will be updating my list of will/won't do's as things come up so make sure you check or ask beforehand please!

Aaaaaaand...that's it!

Hey guys! Yes, I'm alive. X'D

Honestly it feels like things have been a little...chaotic for a year or so. Things have slowly started getting a little better and seem to be working out in my favor, it's just a matter of working through some kinks in the system--but it's all about taking things one step at a time!

It's also been for that reason that I've been less active in terms of art. Yeah, I've managed to get one or two things done, but honestly it had gotten to a point where I don't really feel like posting anything art-related. I've been doing writing, though it's been an on and off struggle as well due to the stress that life has been throwing left and right.

I do want to start posting things again, and I do want to do more art related things as well! I just gotta remember to take things slow and be kinder to myself when it comes to my work, and you know what? Sometimes we just need to remind ourselves to do that--we are our own worst critics after all. So why not be kind to ourselves just as much as we're kind to others? We're not art or writing producing machines and we do need to take a hiatus every now and then even if it's just to enjoy doing what we like to do in private.

It may take a bit of time before I can start posting things, but I do want to start doing it again. ;;v;; I'll probably start off small, and maybe work on drawing some fanart as well. I've drawn some Pokemon requests I had gotten last month, and it was actually quite fun! I'll have to do more of those again. ;;v;; Might have to try and do backgrounds again. I remember I enjoyed doing those and had a lot of fun with them too. ;;3;;

Hey guys, so quickie update!

First off, Happy (belated) Thanksgiving to everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and got to spend quality time with your friends and loved ones and got to enjoy delicious and tasty food~! >3<

So life is still being a bit of a pain and I'm still job hunting, but I've gotten several call-backs so hopefully I'll get a solid confirmation of sorts. ;;3;;

In the meantime, I'm going to be doing my best to take better care of myself (such as eating proper meals three times a day, going to the gym or working out between commercials, etc) and try to be more productive with my art and writing! I've been doing a lot of sketching as of late, I just hadn't had the energy to color them digitally. I'm going to take it slow and steady and work my way through!

Hey guys!

Sorry that I keep going quiet, I've been busy with a lot of craziness. Between job hunting and in real life obligations and major projects that had to be submitted at a certain time, it just required a lot of my attention, time, and energy. As such, for the most part my energy had been whittled down to only being able to do personal writing projects and the occasional random bit of drawing. It's just been hard to really sit down and focus on stuff for others, and for a little while my sleep schedule grew out of whack and affected my eating schedule as well.

But now I'm doing much better! I've been taking melatonin to help get me back on a proper sleep schedule, I've gotten more time and energy in the day to do stuff, and I've been eating much better! Allergy season of course wants to keep kicking my butt, though it's getting better! XD

I'm working my way through getting stuff done and working on art, but I know it's been a while since I last updated here and I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm doing okay! UvU

Hey everyone~! Okay, so I know I've been pretty...quiet as of late with my posts and art, but I think I may have figured out what I've been doing wrong. It turns out...I've simply been holding myself back.

I've been trying to draw characters by having a set idea on exactly how I wanted to draw the characters, but every time I attempted to sit down and do so...I'd only get so far before I got discouraged. As a result my art has been slacking quite badly, and I've mostly been sticking to my writing because it was the only thing I could do that I could somewhat control.

But yesterday I decided to just let go. I chose a character that drew my attention the most and just started sketching. I wasn't even going for a full body, I was just going for a bust shot to get a feel for the character again. And after that I chose another character. And then another. And another.

And now I've drawn more in the last two days than I have in months! I am just so proud of myself, and I hope to keep up the trend--I've even drawn characters I've not drawn in years or before!

Things will be getting a bit hectic with the holidays and such, but I'm gonna do what I can to get more art drawn and make it much more fun for myself~ >w<

So I hadn't been on FA for a few days, and I came on to check and...strangely enough I got a note that was sent 2 days ago. I thought it was going to be normal or something, but now I'm just thoroughly confused. 0.o

It was titled (in lower letters) "hi liked you", but when I went to check out the person's user page it said that it was deactivated by the owner. And yet when I went to open the note, it said there was a system error and that the person's account was marked for deletion.

Has anyone else had anything similar to this happen to them or is this another one of those random things that just seem to happen? 0.o

Work has been a bit on the crazy side as of late. Of course nowadays things are slowly starting to settle down with only the occasional bit of craziness and whatnot happening, but otherwise I'm doing okay and I'm fine. X3

My motivation and inspiration has skyrocketed lately though, it's a bit of a shock! I have so many new characters and story ideas I want to draw and share and I just have not been this excited or productive in a long time! It's kinda overwhelming though, because I have a hard time figuring out which project to work on next. X'D

Okay, so RULES!!!!

*I AM ONLY DRAWING HAPPY/CONTENT EXPRESSIONS BECAUSE EVERYONE NEEDS A BIT OF HAPPINESS IN THEIR DAY!!! If it's an expression of hyperactiveness/excitement however, that's also doable, or even shocked surprise/joy!

* When requesting I draw one of your characters, I will go through your galleries and pick which character I deem needs some lav and attention (because all characters deserve some love and affection!)

* People I know well enough, however, I will allow them to pick a character they wish me to draw because they're friends!

* Once I pick a character I wish to draw, you will have the option of requesting one image with a particular item and the character's reaction to/with it (even if it's that character's pet, it doesn't have to be an inanimate object!), and I get to surprise you with three random surprise happy expressions! :D

* Acceptable expression types: curiosity, confusion, sleepy...those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head, but if you can think of something that's not angry/sad just ask and I'll make a decision (unless a character REALLY inspires me, then I may make an exception)


I have a black list, so if I do not wish to associate myself with you or I do not feel comfortable speaking to you, I will block you.

Please keep in mind that I do have a full time job that does take a lot of energy and I do have other projects I want to give attention to as well, but since Labor Day is approaching I should have plenty of free time to enjoy some rest and relaxation and have fun doodling happy/content characters!

Hey guys! So for the past few days I've not been feeling too well...at all. =A= No idea what it was exactly, but it was enough to the point I either felt like I was about to pass out standing on my feet (if I stood in one spot too long), had a hard time focusing and felt like my head was stuffed with cotton to the point of bursting, or just feeling ill as hell. Thought it was an iron deficiency, but that wasn't the case (thank goodness), but drinking water with pink sea salt helped a little bit. Thankfully whatever was ailing me seems to have passed for the most part since I took Dayquil last night before bed. Hopefully tomorrow it'll be gone completely!

In the meantime I'm curious: would anyone be interested in an art trade with me? I know I've been busy these last few days, but I've been wanting to do something art wise, and since tomorrow is Friday and I've got a free weekend, I thought why not give it a shot? Sorry I've been pretty quiet since my previous art submission, but work has been picking up to the point that I've had to work two 12 day weeks with only one weekend between the two as a break. Thankfully it won't happen as frequently as that so it'll only happen at least once a month. X'D

Anyway, things have been going well for me so far, just dealing with the usual craziness of jumping through hoops to get work done and whatnot. Most times I come home and just feel like watching TV and lately I've been struggling to get any writing done that keeps my focus long enough to run with it so...yeah, hadn't really done much lately. XD
