I don't usually listen to this genre of music, but I guess this is one of those rare occasions. ^^

Comin in for a landing!!
General | Posted 13 years agoAnd touchdown! Well I'm back at home, rather reluctantly I might add. My visit with my mate went pretty good I think. It was just what the both of us needed, we both needed to see each other and thankfully we made it happen. We spent tons of time together as the days went by and I enjoyed those days just doing the little things with him, weather it was walking to the store, watching TV, playing 1 or 2 card games, and watching him play God of War. This trip to me was also a test to see if I was truly ready for a homosexual relationship, and I'm pleased to say that I like the gay way rather than straight, much more to like about a gay relationship in my point of view. ^^
Thats pretty much the gist of my visit. I love you Sevlow and I always will, and mark my words I will be back! :D

I will be leaving on the 14th of July and will remain there for 2 full weeks, although I wish it were forever. This is gonna be so awesome!! ^^

It really soothes the soul to listen to this, even in these hard times I cannot help but sigh as my muscles and bones feel warm and released of their tension. This is a digital choir, which I never thought you could do this smoothly. I mean really, how do you stop the trolls from trolling something like this???

Can't seem to catch a break
General | Posted 13 years agoI usually try not to complain too much about the little things that happen to me, but this little incident does involve my ability to submit pics to FA. My scanner has changed its mind about scanning the pics I have made. Its weird because when i try to scan pics the bar that scans the pic slides about 1/5th of the way there then it either gets stuck or shuts itself off. I have talked to a few techy friends of mine and they say that it could be a safety measure because something is jammed in the mechanism. Money being as tight as it is prevents me from simply buying a new printer\scanner. Hopefully I can get this fixed soon because there is a very special pic I want to submit.
What the future may hold...
General | Posted 14 years agoHonestly I don't really know. My grandfather was the main thing that kept this family from financial troubles because we had his retirement funding, but now that hes gone we may be in trouble. Our house may be paid for, but as far the utilities go, that's on rather shaky grounds. You may be asking "why not get a job?" here's the main thing about a "job" around here. This is LA... in California... where we have one the highest debts of any state in the U.S. Where jobs are literally one of every five thousand people actually has a job (a bit exaggerated but you get the idea). I have been searching for work for years now and I have come up with no luck. Honestly I am literally pulling every connection I've got to get a job, programs at school, friends who know people, anywhere there is a sign saying "now hiring" even if its a graveyard shift only, and etc. I still have faith in the programs at school because they were able to find one of my friends a job, so here's hoping.
At any rate, I may be a bit scared, but I'm keeping the faith that something will be provided to me, and as long as I have family and friends that care for me, I'll never be truly alone.

A Heavy Loss
General | Posted 14 years agoOn Saturday night, me and the rest of my family lost someone very dear to us. My grandfather at the age of 82 passed away.
To give you a small insight into the type of person he was, he was a fighter, more stubborn than anyone I ever knew, he wouldn't accept defeat without at least putting up a fight. He did just that, he fought on long and hard to the very end. He was also an engineer at Aerospace, so he was also very smart in the books and at life until he started coming down with Alzheimer's. He eventually came down with the stomach flue, came out of that, then pneumonia struck. At that point, if he were to recover, he would be bed-bound for the rest of his life, completely unaware of his surroundings, a vegetable. When he still had a functioning brain he said that he didn't want to end up like that, so we fulfilled his wish of not ending up like that. So on that Saturday night, he departed from this world. When I said my last goodbyes, it was there it hit me how much I'm going to miss him.
Grandpa Dave, may you rest in peace, I will miss you.

General | Posted 14 years agoIm sorry I can't come up with a poem, but I would like to say this.
You have made me that happiest fur on FA, you make me look forward to the new day when the sun rises, you have shown me what undying love feels like, you loved me more than anyone I have dated ever has, and just simply put, you have changed my life!
I love you Sevlow, and I simply will not stop loving you.

Setting some new standards for my work
General | Posted 14 years agoAfter some time and consideration concerning social interactions and the stuff I do on FA, I've taken the time to write up some standards for myself to follow.
It is a fact that I am often bombarded by messages for requests by random people whom of which I have no idea who they are, so here is the basic rule of requests. The simple fact is that I am currently in an art block that I am really trying to break free from and all these random requests are not helping any. So I will ONLY do requests for close friends who I actually know, and when I do requests will be entirely of my choosing. If I ever decide to do a request for anyone outside of my circle of friends it will stated in journals, otherwise do not waste your time and mine by asking. If there is any drama regarding these new ground rules I will ignore them. Those are my rules.
Well that is all I have to say right now, take care FA. ^^

Yu Gi Oh! Sneak Peak Today
General | Posted 14 years agoWell I saved up my money for this thing, but yet there wasn't really a whole lot I wanted from this set (namely the Dark Flattop). I decided to go anyway and maybe find some other cards I did not know about, duel a couple times, and maybe mingle with friends afterwards. When I got there, over 35 people showed up, was utter chaos outside. When we were finally let in, the store manager announced to everyone that not everyone would be able to get their packs THAT DAY because Konami, being the great business people as always, were unable to send the store the required amount of Sneak Peak Kits, which is 5 kits, they only got 1 kit, which was only enough for 20 people. So around half of the people there would get their packs and the remainder were promised to get their packs another time, but they were too impatient to wait, I even volunteered to wait on mine so that someone else could theirs, but it was too late. More than half of the people left in a heartbeat when they heard they couldn't get their packs there and then. As a result, there was enough packs to go around heh, odd how things can just workout.
I got the 3 Flattops I was after, hooray! Aside from those, I didn't get anything else of interest to me or my mate. I decided to stick around and see what other people were playing, but then I realized that these people are the dead-beat hardcore play to win generic bastards I have come to despise. Then low and behold, same decks everywhere, X-Saber, Twilight, and Six Sams. Those were the only decks there divided among 20 people, I couldn't stand the thought of dueling against these decks again, so I left and went home.
So all in all it was a decent sneak peak, I got what I wanted so I don't have to spend anymore money on this set unless I go after the Wind-Ups that Sevvy-pie wants. ^^

Battlefield 3 and MW 3, RIP Mass Effect
General | Posted 14 years agoWell it was only a matter of time before I sank my teeth into these 2 shooters, and let me start by saying what has happened to shooter games?? There was a time where realism did not matter and that multiplayer was only viewed as a suggestion and not the main focus of a game, and there was a time where the story or campaign felt like there was some real effort put into it. The story in MW 2 feels like it has more plot holes than a mafia victim, and the one in Battlefield 3 forget about it! If it wasn't evident at this point, I HAAAAAAATE these 2 shameful shams of shooters, in fact they don't deserve to be called shooters, more like "massive wastes of money shooters."
Now, onward to something that I thought to be the most retarded thing EVER in the history of games. Multiplayer in mass effect!! Yup. They are putting the disease that is guaranteed to ruin a game into the one franchise that had an epic story. Really EA? Really? Putting something that has proven time and time again to kill a games good name by adding this horrendous feature. It happened to Assassins Creed, Dead Space, Bioshock, etc. So, without further delaying it, may you rest in piece Mass Effect for you are now dead to me...

General | Posted 14 years agoMERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! :D
Bit of an update and a new deck is born!
General | Posted 14 years agoIt is nearing the end of the fall semester and the beginning of the Christmas season, so in this little pause in the mayhem, I decided to update on whats up with me lately (in case if any of you were curious).
The semester has been sorta "meh" throughout. I actually had to drop my Statistics class since it was soooooooo hard and no one at the tutoring center or my teacher was able to help me. (Since the campus is being rebuilt the tutoring center is all up in the air). Aside from that, my meteorology class has been going over okay. Been getting C's on all my tests.
Now, onward to the new Yu Gi Oh! deck. This deck as it turns out was originally thought of by my dear mate. (Love you baby! ^^) but this is going to be essentially T.G. Skill Drain. I'm not exactly sure if this deck is a mainstream one, but even if it is then I'll just change it until its my own spin on it, but here is what it is so far.
MONSTERS
1x Fusilier Dragon, The Duel-Mode Beast
3x T.G. Warwolf
3x T.G. Striker
3x T.G. Rush Rhino
2x T.G. Cyber Magician
2x Beast King Barbaros
SPELLS
2x Pot of Duality
1x Card Destruction
2x Mystical Space Typhoon
1x Monster Reborn
1x Dark Hole
1x Heavy Storm
TRAPS
2x Call of the haunted
2x Skill drain
2x TGX3-DX2
3x Horn of the phantom beast
1x Torrential tribute
1x Solemn judgement
2x Bottomless trap hole
1x Starlight road
2x TG1-EM1
1x Mirror force
1x Deep dark trap hole
That's essentially it for now, but if any of you who have experience with the game wanna give your 2 cents would be much appreciated. ^^ See yall later! :D

Thank you, everyone!
General | Posted 14 years agoI feel like I am undeserving of your wishes for a happy birthday, but I also cannot turn away kindness like that. ^^
On the 22nd, woke up to a big surprise which was this http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6544721 and almost 12 shouts on my page, all of em bday wishes. Just give me the pleasant warm shivers to know that people on here actually do watch me and do have show some concern. I cannot begin to inform you all how happy it made me feel for the rest of the day. :D
My actual party itself will be on Saturday, I'm really too excited to sleep.
So to all of you who wished me a happy birthday, thank you! Thank you thank you thank you! :D
