First off, I tried not to get too hyped when I first saw this game, since Team Ninja has a nack for making some terrible games, look at ninja gaiden 1 and 2 and the dead or alive series if you don't believe me. A lot of people give this game bad rep because the voice acting is terrible to the point that Metroid fanboys like me have wept to the point of burning their Samus action figures and posters. But I try to look away from that part. One of the main issues with me is that the difficulty curve in this game is so sharp that you can cut a steel beam with it. The enemies do TONS of damage no matter what upgrades you get for your suit, and worst part about it is that you don't get health pickups along the way to replenish your health. The only way you can replenish your health fully is by going to a save-point and to get SOME of your health back is to stand there, point the wiimote upwards, and hold the A button until you get some of it back, then the game goes "hope you enjoy that bit of health NOW WE'RE GONNA KNOCK IT BACK DOWN!!!" then BOOM you're dead, , and that's it. And it doesn't get ANY better from the controls and how they are set up! Okay, this is where the summary of my rage goes to, the controls. First of all, why in the hell did they put in 1st person mode in a 3rd person game?! It has never worked in a game like this, and you people in team ninja are not miracle workers! Seriously, the 1st person controls are so clunky and clumsy it doesn't feel like any other Metroid game where the controls are simple and smooth, natural feeling. And on top of everything else, 1st person mode is the ONLY way you can activate and use your life saving missiles! It makes absolutely NO FUCKING SENSE that they would do this shit, why do you HAVE to be in this god forsaken mode to use your missiles when 1st person mode forbids you from moving?! It is downright retarded! And also it is the only way to use your super missiles, grapple beam, activate switches, and the only way to find certain hidden items! Why do they force bad aspects of games on us I do not know, maybe the people in Team Ninja are like the Kaisers of game devs or something. Even in metroid prime when I played it for the first time, it took me a little bit to get used to, but when I did it felt like 2nd nature for these controls, but with this shit, I'm still getting used to it, if I can anyway. The thing in 3rd person mode, you don't have a choice on where you are targeting, it is all up to the "all knowing" auto-lock feature. Why they put that in I do not know, but the thing is that it is more on a matter of luck on if you're gonna hit the target you wanted. Another thing is that your starting blaster is so weak, you would be better off shooting spitballs at your enemy! The blaster does get better, but in Metroid prime 1 and 2 the primary blaster was there to stay, and damn it was a good blaster! In #3 it was more old school when your primary blaster was upgraded to a better one, BUT the 1st blaster you started with was still good!! Another thing that pissed me off about this game was the damn maps!!! Now to give you a meaning to what I'm getting all up about, imagine you have a zoomed in image of google maps, perfectly fine right? That will be your mini-map while playing the game. Now when you go to the map overview, imagine you're on Mars looking at Earth through a small telescope, that's what it feels like! Nothing makes sense that the two maps wouldn't cooperate with each other. North is south, east is west, WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!?! As for the parts of the game of her being a dumbass in this game and not the complete badass she was in other games is not my point I'm trying to make here. The point is that over complicating controls and changing them from an award winning formula to this garbage makes no sense! Other M is simply the worst "Metroid" wanna-be game in history! Thank you very fuckin much Team Ninja you bunch of retards, and I hope that you go out of business! Have a nice day everyone. ^^

Honestly, I think the people in Atlanta must have their heads up the asses if they can't beat this deck! I just copied the deck, and proxied the cards I didn't have, and EVERY deck I have has beaten it!! Seriously, what the hell are they doing in Atlanta?! And if you couldn't tell from my little comments left on the list, I have quite a few problems with certain cards in it. Pot of Duality: overpriced piece of garbage. Well it is that time of year again and a lot of what I was thankful for last year still applies to this year.

Well so far it has been one of those okay weeks. School has been "meh" and I'm looking forward to the weekend since I have made some special plans. As far as my artsies go, its been hectic. Been trying to complete a request for my mate but I hardly have adequate time to work on it. Hopefully as the semester wears down I'll have time to do it.

On a side note, my brother pre-ordered Call of Duty Black Ops and I managed to play through most of the campaign and I'm pleased to say that it is better than Modern Warfare 1 and 2's campaign so far. It feels and looks the same as the other 2 games, but this time around they made a bit of an effort for the single player lovers, like myself, to have more options than just the campaign to have fun with this game. Although how much effort that was actually put in is up for debate. They actually did something miraculous and put in bot matches if you do not want to put up with the multiplaying douchebags that are on x box live. You level up the same as you would in online matches. Here's the catch, you HAVE to be connected to x box live for you to even play against bots...... that doesn't make any sense at all!!! Why do we have to be connected in order for us to use something that you wouldn't even need x box live for?!?! I can still play against the bots on Unreal Tournament 3 offline, so why in the hell can't it be the same for this game?!?!?! Stupid Infinity Ward and their stupidness..... stupid.......

On another side note, workouts have been going okay. Been using the weights more instead of the Bowflex so I can work outside and get some of this cool weather. ^^ Situps are also getting easier and easier to do as the weeks go on, so I'm pretty happy with that. =3

Yup, I'll be heading over to get an early look at what's coming out in the newest set. I actually will not enter since it costs $20 for 5 packs and a promo card, big rip off says I. Besides, I just have to walk around a bit before people start throwing their unwanted cards, which could even be the good cards. So basically I get what other people paid for without paying anything. ^^ Taking advantage of bad peoples pickyness and not to mention lack of being grateful for what you get. Seriously, all they want are cards for top tier decks, and if it's not able to support those decks its automatically deemed, what the french call, le garbage. But I'll be there to make sure that those cards have a home with me! ^^ Wish me luck!

Well it has been a rather physically demanding week thus far. My mom recently got me a new dresser. The thing is that in order for me to get my old one out of the way and the new one in..... I have to clean my disaster zone which is my room. Seriously, it looks as if a hurricane passed through, then passed through again, then a garbage truck dumped a full load, then a bomb went off, and was attacked by Nazis. It's really really hard to get some of this crap gotten rid of because my mom insists that we keep some of the stuff that has "value" even my old Lego sets, which no one down here would ever want. But I am on a time budget because they put this giant new dresser in the hallyway, which is now in EVERYBODY'S way, so I'm being pressured by everybody to clean up my room, in the middle of the school semester!! So yeah I'm being attacked at school and at home.

On the plus side, my aunty got me a late birthday gift, a new Radeon 5770 HD graphics card! Was a nightmare to install since I dunno squat about computers and upgrades, so we had the fellows at Geek Squad do it. I guess my computer is pretty good now because the geeks were high fiving after the thing got installed, and they called it "a beast." Suits the owner a bit now ya? ;)

Jeeze, I feel old lol. Yup, Today I turned 24 years young. Dunno what my family has planned for me since when I woke up this morning, they were surprised that it was my birthday. I'll wait and see what happens. :)

Today started out like most others, get up, eat breakfast (if anything is available), workout, then head over to the card shop. But today had some special or unusual things in store for me. The store owners announced that today would be a budget tournament, which meant that there would be a $2 entry fee. When you enter, you usually get a pack for entering the tournament, but today's entry pack was a soda. Being the healthnut that I am, I got diet mountain dew, not bad if you ask me. My deck of choice today was my mate's Marik deck, basically burn with a side of "annoy the bajesus out of whoever faces me" deck. I swear to you all, this deck has only lost 1 time, but it hasn't happened since that. It's a deck of torture and burning until my opponent submits in utter annoyance to the point of snapping, or I just simply burn em to death. Today was gonna be a competition since a lot of the other players, whom I absolutely HATE to the core, were entering. For example, that one guy who I referred to him as mr. M, the nerd who only says one-liners from movies, and there are more people to name but I only have so much space to type here lol, turns out I hate a lot of players down here.

When the tournament started, my first opponent was the one-liner douche bag. Unlike my other times playing this deck, I decided to play with this guy's mind a while since he annoys the hell out of just about everyone at the shop. He was playing a Gadget-Machina deck, which after seeing the oodles of decks that had this same theme, I knew everything he was going to do. He would have been better off just wearing a sign on his forehead what he was going to play next. I dragged out that match as long as I could. Every move he made had a penalty attached, if he attacked with his machina fortress I used nightmare wheel, if he had a field full of monsters I would use lava golem, everything had a price to pay whenever he did anything. Throughout the games he was constantly cursing at whatever happened to burn his life points bit by bit by bit until they hit 0. In the second game, I let him do some direct attacks to me to the point where if he attacked just one more time, Id be dead. The first thing was tribute his machina fortress and gadget for lava golem and his other machina fortress and another gadget for another lava golem. I was at 2000 life at that point but when it was his turn and attacked with both golems, draining shield times 2 baby!!! I was back at full life and his was going down quickly. When his life was depleted, he asked me "why didn't you do that instead of taking all that damage?! You had all the cards you needed!" I replied with, "because I wanted you to feel like you were about to win right before everything came crashing down around you." I immediately noticed that his eyes were welling up with tears when he said, "why would you want to toy with someone like that you sick bastard?!" I said, "first of all, it is ONLY A GAME!! Second, because you have annoyed me and the other good people who come here to relax and unwind after a long week. Now you can move out of my way or be moved." I cannot tell you all how good that felt to see his pathetic self stagger away just on the verge of bursting into tears. I went on to beat one of the judges and an employee of the store. After him was a blackwing user, then an X saber user. The deck that no one expected to get past the first round won me first place in the tournament. Again, I just have to extend my thanks to my dear mate and love of my life  sevlowtyak for giving me this deck and teaching me all I know about this game. Thank you baby. ^^ Now Im headin for bed, gnite. :D

Kinda contradictory to what the name of the game implies since it is made by a small company that not many people have heard about. At any rate, I thought that since I had some time in between my studies to give this game a shot since it was recommended to me by a few friends. Upon first glance it looked good because it did have some furs in it, so that was what caught my interest. But when I downloaded the thing I found out the horrible truth, it is primarily a multiplayer game!!! Instantly I did not wanna touch the thing after that! Why do companies go out of the way to make a game solely for the the multiplay-crazed douche bags?! It seems like every gaming company is doing it now! What happened to the days of games when multiplay was only a concept and nothing more than that? God how I miss those days.

At any rate I did find out that the game does give you the chance to play practice games with npc bots and not people, that is if the developers don't change that because they constantly do and they can't make up their retarded minds. The game is basically this: enemy has a big thing that creates minions, you have to go kills this hive thingy by blowing up some automated turrets in order otherwise you won't damage the hive thingy. You use the aid of your lil minions that your hive thingy creates to help you destroy their hive thingy but you have to watch out for their characters and in multiplayer they're ALL elitist bastards that take this game a bit too seriously.... To them if you don't do one tiny thing right, you're gonna get yelled at by them.

The game itself is free, thank god or I would instantly demand my money back. But you can spend money on it IF you really really want to. To unlock more characters to play with, you have to either A: spend money on the game and unlock them, or B: earn the in-game points by playing multiplayer or practice games to unlock them. I have been doing mostly practice games in order for me to get the furry characters I wanted to get. When I did go into multiplayer it was like joining in a game with a bunch of monkeys. They kept telling me to do something but they used lingual I did not know the meaning of so they got mad and instantly left in the middle of the game. I was left all by myself against the enemy team, oddly enough this is not the first time it has happened. This game really has a problem with leavers who just vanish for the sake of being an asshole, and like all multiplayer oriented games, there's nothing but assholes who play them! To all the game devs out there STOP MAKING MULTIPLAYER GAMES!!!

Why isn't that guy's head in a million pieces?!

Well I'm back at home and I'm not dead! :D
Had to cut the trip since a storm was coming and was due to start pouring rain by Saturday.I had a ton of fun out in mammoth this week and would spend more time out there if our campsite had a shower. Before my shower today I stank like dirt, sweat, and lake water. We had a bathroom but no shower, which made me grungy and greasy by the time we left for home. Had lots of time hiking, which really helped with my cardio and endurance. Was somewhat satisfying to see that I could still keep going while the rest of group had to stop for a breather. Also went boating on convict lake, went to the ghost town Bodie, hiked up the devil's post-pile. All in all had a great time.

To go camping! ^^ Yup, heading out with some of the family to Mammoth for 5 days in the wilderness. Not that excited since I'm primarily a city boi. But anyhow I'll be up there hopefully having fun and not a living hell, so you won't be able to get a hold of me for 5 days. Later Everyone! =3

Over the past few weeks, I've developed a new interest in a particular type of creatures that are in magic the gathering called the Slivers, primarily because of my mate (love you honey ^^). I have heard of them a lot during my history of playing the game and they have always been boasted as one of the most diverse decks ever conceived. I never got around to making a sliver deck of my own since I don't have the money to pursue them. Down here, there was only one guy who had the slivers and actually had extra ones that he was not using, but he was not going to trade for them but sell them. Being the jackass that he was, every day he was there the same day I was he would be holding them above my head and taunt me with them. But last weekend I got a breakthrough that I have been waiting for, and it was in the form of 2 Russians (god bless them). They were brother and sister and had a vast collection of cards, I mean a HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE collection, most of them old. Then I stumbled on their collection of, guess what, Slivers! I was overjoyed when I saw them, and they were willing to trade them to me.
