Reconstruction
General | Posted 15 years agoWell it was unannounced to me, but we are currently getting the living room reconstructed. The old floors, walls, ceiling, everything is getting rebuilt. Since they were also work on my brothers room, they've had to cover up the computer and unplug it. So, needless to say I will be offline for a few days, maybe a week. So with that, I'll leave with simply saying see ya in a week everyone! =3
My plans for art in the future
General | Posted 15 years agoWell I wish I could do more as far as furry art goes, but seeing as how my family hates furries, I have to keep my furry art under wraps. I wanna get more practice with my tablet in though, so I might have to do some none-furry art. I know I still have some requests and commissions from others, and res assured that I WILL do them, I just want to practice some more with my tablet and hopefully improve my drawing and coloring skills with the thing I have been wanting for so long. I would also like as much feedback as possible from you all to see if I really am making progress.
(EDIT) I plan on only doing this until I feel I can color faster and more cleanly. Thank you. ^^

Red Dead Redemption.... Saddle Up!!
General | Posted 15 years agoI have finally gotten the chance to play another game by the people who made GTA, which i never really enjoyed. In the past experiences with the franchise, GTA 4 was "meh," not great but not bad either. I would only play it just to get through the story, everything else I was not overly excited about.
Now here's another game by these people set 100 years in the past when horsies were still being ridden, right at the end of the wild west era. While playing this game, I found out something about the furry fandom itself, out of all places. I have heard here and there that "Yiff" is supposed to be the sound a fox or vixen makes when mating, which i find rather creepy that someone would actually waste their time by stalking a fox or vixen in heat. The sound "yiff" really is the sound a fox makes when getting shot it the head by buckshot..... So the next time someone says "wanna yiff?" really means that THEY WANT TO SHOOT YOU!! So say no!!
But aside from that, there were some areas of Red Dead that I found enjoyable. For starters, just about all the guns are good and can do some good damage. The story is pretty good, lots of plot twists which keep me wanting to see more. The wild animals that run around the wilderness adds some sense of paranoia while traveling. The wolves that are almost constantly hunting you or some passerby are exceedingly smart. For example, they will use one of their own wounded to lure you in while the rest surround you then they pounce. If wolves were really that smart then we would be in trouble.... The traveling is however the thing I do not like much. Thankfully they did add a way to fast travel from a place you have visited before, honestly the exploring of new locations is the only drawback, the only way people would like it is if you like staring at horse butt for long periods of time.

A Very Close Call...
General | Posted 15 years agoHad one of those too close for comfort moments during the yu gi oh tournament last Saturday when a fight was just about to unfold. Technically I was not involved but it was between 2 other people when one annoyed the other, rather stupidly too. I was sitting at a table next to the 2 individuals. One of them was a gigantic son of gun, was at least 6'10" the other was some short, fat, super nerd who obviously had no life outside the store. And in DESPERATE need of a shower. The nerd is always on everybody's nerves for a few reasons. 1: He babbles on and on about what hes doing in the game even if hes the only one listening. 2: He CONSTANTLY says famous one-liners from movies and TV shows to himself and others around him. For example, I could be doing some kind of OTK that does a ton of points in damage. Then he at the top of his high pitched nerdy vocals goes "its over 9000!!!!!!." And he does that to a point that it hurts my ears, that's how high pitched his voice is.
The big guy on the other paw, not much to say about him. All I know is that he started coming to the store about a few weeks ago, has short brown hair, a deeper voice than Mufasa, and hands that make the cards he plays look like stick-notes. I was playing a game against one of my friends when I hear the nerd make another one liner from 300 (ill let you guess which one he used) but it annoyed the big guy so much, he just snapped at the nerd going "SAY IT AGAIN AND YOU WONT SAY ANOTHER F#@$%N WORD AGAIN!!." That shout from him was like freakin Thor! Everyone and everything that was going on inside the store suddenly stopped! Then the nerd says the stupidest thing "I can say it if I want! Who made you Darth Vader?!" First lesson about talking back, make sure that the one you're talking back to isn't twice your height and can snap you in half like a twig! The big guy then stood up, but right at that moment the store manager came rushing in along with 2 employees to settle things down. Long story short, the nerd was told to stop with the one liners or leave, and the big guy was asked to control his temper..... and not go Godzilla on the store..... Just goes to show, nerds who say one-liners all the time are not only stupid, but also a blight on our society. *points at all who apply*

Todays Tournament and THE WORST GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED!!!
General | Posted 15 years agoWith my current deck ideas on hold for the time being, I decided to take one of my favorite decks out for a spin at the tournament today, the Crystal Beasts. My first opponent was running an old monarch control deck that I have played against before, but he did not run Caius, what he used was Zaborg and Thestalos for his sources of his "control." Rainbow Dragon sent each monarch to the graveyard in 1, 2, BOOM!! Next game I didn't even have to use my key cards to win, just kept my Crystals attacking and utilizing their effects while in the spell and trap card zone. My next opponent actually tried to copy my Elemental Hero deck almost card for card! He just had no idea what the hell what he was doing and therefore got his heroes gutted like a freshly cut fish. Next, my opponent had Froggy-Immortals. It was kinda like my mate's Earthbound Immortal deck, but with a bunch of lil frogs. Since I already had the incite from my wuffy's Immortal deck and how to beat em, I just killed them with their own effect, namely the field spell part of it. Thanks shnooky! ^^
My last opponent was a hopeless dragon user-ish. He called it that but I had no idea what the hell kind of dragon deck it was. It had light and darkness dragon, all the other essential dragons with the addition of others, but she started out with a bad hand both games and drew into nothing but high level monster for the first 3 turns, and by that time I had at least 4 Crystals in my spell and trap zone with 3 or more in my monster zone. When she used her future fusion spell card I simply negated it with my rainbow ruins, she scooped after that. The next game was similar to that. So I ended up taking the tournament in shining colors! ^^ I am proud of my Crystals and at how powerful they are, and I would like to thank my shnooky wuffy for introducing me to them!! :3
Now, I have played some god-awful games in my day, Street Fighter (the whole franchise) , CoD 4 (1 and 2), Guilty Gear X, Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2, Dead or Alive 2, 3, and 4, Soul Caliber 2, 3, and 4, Sonic Unleashed, Shadow the Hedgehog, Eve Online, Champions Online, WoW, Tribes Vengeance, and a bit more that I cannot remember for the time being but I most likely forgot them with the aid of alcohol, with good reason. But this new game for the Wii really made me cry at just how bad it was, Monster Hunter 3 tri! Seriously, this game is everything that a game SHOULD NOT BE!!! Everything is just plain wrong, bugged, not planned out thoroughly, or just plain stupid. If there was ever an award for WORST GAME CREATED, this game would take the Nobel prize for absolute shittyness! Capcom, you are OFFICIALLY on my hate list! Thank you. ^^

General | Posted 15 years agoYup! College finals are next week! I have worked hard and have had a few bumps along the way, but I am hoping that I can make it! I want this semester to end so I can focus on my art again and my workouts. Here's hoping! :D

General | Posted 15 years agoIrritate the living daylights outta me. Earlier today while at the card shop, I was talking to a few of my friends about my plans to make a Gladiator Beast deck. Now, right off the bat I know that the deck is one of the generic decks, but unlike the ones that I see again and again and again and again and again day in and day out. For example, I will not use ANY of the fusions that the deck "requires," according to the generic players anyway. The way mine will work is simply by attacking, and tagging out for the others, keeping their abilities flowing, with no need for the fusion monsters.
While I was talking to my friends about that, one of the gladiator beast fanatics said to me "then that will just be a shitty 'glad deck.'" Now, he has said some similar things before about my other decks, oddly enough, every deck I have EVER built since I started the game he has insulted. Every idea I have hatched he has attempted to squash it with his trash talking. I simply replied to him with, "people who follow the deck ideas of others only proves how little creativity or intelligence they have." Then he said "it won't work or win with that build." I said "as long as a gladiator beast can still tag out it will work." He replies with "but it will never win." I looked at him with an evil smile and said "I do recall you saying the same thing about my Dark Gaia deck, but I also recall it beating the living snot out of your Blackwings, your Lightsworns, and your X-Sabers." Then he said the dumbest thing I have ever heard him say, "you'll soil and violate everything that Glad beasts are!" I laughed for about 2 minutes before saying "you really believe that over a child's card game?! How pathetic are you??" He just walked away after that. I mean really people, getting all worked up over little flat things of cardboard?! Yeesh

The passing of a legend....
General | Posted 15 years agoIt brings me to tears to hear that one of the legendary names in heavy metal, Ronnie James Dio, has passed away. The rock star sadly has passed on, leaving behind a great legacy. I don't know what the rest of you all think of him, but I for one will miss him and the music that he sang. Dio, we love you! *holds up "the devil's horn's" up high* ROCK ON DIO!!

One card in particular caught not just my interest but my mates interest as well. His name is Ajani, a special type of card called a Planeswalker. He even has his own webcomic!

General | Posted 15 years agoHello everyone, before I go to the tournament today, I wanted to show some ideas Ive had for a whole new series of Yu Gi Oh cards, The Ultimate Heroes! I tried to make them as fare as possible without being TOO good, but I have a few times so a few have been rewritten since the last time i formatted them, but with the help of my mate sevlowtyak they came out a bit better than I hoped. I may even make pics for them in the future. Give me some feedback on these ideas if you wish to. ^^
Ultimate Hero monsters (spells and traps are in the making)
Ultimate Hero Arch-Bright
1800 ATK/1200 DEF level 4 Light, warrior
while you have 3 or more Ultimate hero monster on your side of the field or graveyard, this card gains 400 ATK while attacking. When this card battles with a Light monster, destroy that monster without applying damage calculation
Ultimate Hero Aquaticus
600 ATK/1000 DEF level 3 water, warrior
when you control no monsters and while you have 5 or more Ultimate hero monsters in your graveyard, special summon this card from your hand and draw 2 cards.
Ultimate Hero Gustwave
1600 ATK/1000 DEF level 4 wind, warrior when this card is normal summoned or special summoned, you can discard 1 monster card to send up to 2 Tribute Summoned monsters on your opponents side of the field to their hand. Neither player can Special Summon monsters the turn this effect is activated.
Ultimate Hero Pyros
1900 ATK/1050 DEF level 4 fire, warrior
When this card destroys a monster as a result of battle, inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monsters atk.

The selected monster cannot change its battle position or declare an attack until the end of your opponent's next turn.

So I ask you all, how do you transfer one program from a pc that will not even turn on into one that does?

Tornament Results!
General | Posted 15 years agoThe day started just like any other Saturday afternoon, dueling and trading to start the day. But then I entered the 25 man tornament with my Dark Gaia deck, a deck with frightening strength. I was making final preparations to the thing when this one guy I had never met before saw it and he all arrogantly said "What the hell is this garbage?! Where are the Synchros?!" Ironaically he was my first opponent that the deck crushed without losing a single life point! >:3 After the match, I had to say it! "Where are your precious synchros now huh?! THEY WERENT THERE TO SAVE YOU THAT TIME!!" Just goes to show, fate as it seems is without a sense of irony aint it? ^_^
The first of 4 rounds was a breeze, the 2nd round was one I really had to work for, stupid lightsworns, but since they were soooo predictable, I was able to see every move he made before he could make it. Honest did not help him due to the fact that Darkness Neosphere was on the board, an unkillable 4000 Attack power beefstick! The final move of the round went down to a ruling. I used Dark Fusion to bring out Evil Hero Dark Gaia, and he was attempting to stop his attack with Necro Gardna, a monster that stops 1 of your monsters from attacking. But since I played Dark Fusion, he could not target Dark Gaia with his Necro's effect, he thought you could but the judge said that for the turn, Dark Gaia is untargetable by Necro, and I won. ^^
The next round simply was a massacre, on both games, I shattered his life points with an access of over 14000 points of damage! The remaining duel was a funny one, he heard from others that I play a Crystal Beast deck and he was side-boarding his deck specifically for crystals... too bad I was using something from the other side of the games spectrum. >:3 His deck got pounded, and left his X-Sabers in a state of overwhelming dizzyness. I turned out to be the tornament winner! I took firstplace and everyones dueling dignity! There were no cheers or a congratulations for me, just a bunch of mumbles of a vendetta, and curses from under their breath. The day that a newbee beaten the best duelists of the shop. But I did not act alone in this, because this deck was primarily thought of from my dear mate sevlowtyak If it wasnt for him this whole thing would not have been possible. Love you honey, and thank you. ^^

General | Posted 15 years agoThis time I aint reviewing this thing, but I wanted to get it since the only fighting game I have for the wii is SSBB and I would like to know from yall if this thing is a good fighting game to add to my collection. Any comments about the game are welcome. ^^
The Prototype deck on a rampage!!
General | Posted 15 years agoSince Sev has already said the name of the previously unknown deck that no one, as far as we know had never been built, I think its as good a time as any to fill yall in on what it is exactly.
It is a combination of an onld deck type revolving around Evil Hero Dark Gaia. The basic construction and make up of this deck is simply to have as many playable Rock and Fiend type monsters as possible. The thing that made it difficult was that the old ways of building it had a big flaw, most of the Rock and Fiends of the time were hardly playable if the Dark Gaia's damage did not work. Now there are other Fiends and Rock monsters that could be played alongside of the other higher level fiends and rocks, the Koa'Ki Meiru monsters. Koa'Ki Meiru cards have been well known to be totally useless inside their own decks, but when combined with other decks, they can work wonders. For example Koa'Ki Meiru Doom is a fiend and has an effect that says the effects of Light and Darkness monsters are negated during the main phase of the turn, which neuters the lightsworn and blackwings pretty good. Koa'Ki Meiru Guardian says that he can be tributed to negate and destroy and effect monster that activates his effect. which has A LOT of uses.
No one at the game shop I go ever expects the Koa'Ki Meiru cards to be used except for coasters, but this deck showed em otherwise. This new format to the deck has already beaten some of the best players over there and it is still going strong with very little losses, since not that many decks can cope with a monster that has 7000+ attack with an effect that says it switches your opponents monster into attack mode whenever it attacks.... and on top of all that, no flip effects go off. A lot of times, if my opponent survives the initial hit from Dark Gaia, he usually, in the case of blackwing players, tries to overpower Dark Gaia while using Kalute's effect... which has never worked! lol. They fail at basic math on a level that makes it SOOOO funny when they get that look that says "ITS NOT STRONG ENOUGH?!?!?!..... NUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!"
This deck has already beaten the best players down here and now I am going to participate in the tornament next weekend and see if this deck can propel me to the top! :D

1 Year Anniversery!
General | Posted 16 years agoYesterday on the 16th, I have been mated for 1 year to my dearly beloved Sev sevlowtyak! It feels great that I can share anything with him, casual and none-casual alike. We enjoy all the moments we have together even though we're not face to face, for the time being anyway but that will change. ;3
I cannot recall when I was this happy about an anniversary off the top of my head, but this one feels more special than the others. Probably because that this is the first one since I broadened my perspective on the scope of what true love can be.
At any rate, I love Sev with all my heart and with every inch of my being, and I want that to stay that way. ^^
