I DID start on World 4 on Yure Goes Hop Hop, but the thing about the moon is that I don't have much inspiration... =x

Granted, Yure Goes Hop Hop takes place on Furry Planet.
Also, I've been thinking I won't do Superbird: Furry Planet. It's a lot of work for such a small reward.
You'd be surprised how many furries don't even so much as say "Thank you" when I put them in my games. .-.
My nephew Danny has been asking me to bring back Not Another First Person Shooter, and seeing as that's less work artistically, is more fun to create, and also less work programming wise...
I'd rather make someone I love very happy than maybe make a bunch of strangers a little happy.

I made my first custom shader in Unity. Renders two textures on one surface.
I also wrote a script to make them both able to scroll. For an example, I have a surface that has water flowing in two directions.

Apparnetly I created this account 3 years ago and forgot about it before I set it up.
I might become more active there, depending on if the community is more active there.

I do what I can with my small fragment of power (what few watchers I have that pay attention), but it never seems to be good enough. .-.

I know there's only so much we all can do, but all I want is for her to be able to relax and feel stable. This financial crisis of hers has been going on for months now.
And I'm running out of ideas on how to help her. =/

So yes, this laptop can (barely) run my Windows Mixed Reality headset. I don't think I could use it for high-end VR games, but I intended to use it for development, and I make N64-style games so it's fine.

I know this means most people will not be able to realistically afford to play any of my VR games for about 5-8 years, but I really want to develop for VR and I don't have a huge audience anyway. >.>
This is part of the reason I wanted to develop for VR on a laptop-- so I could take the games to people who want to try them.


I won't be making a full-on VR game during this break, just an experiment.

Comparing the dashboard of Yure (which says 860 MB) vs the size of the project on the disk (500 MB)...

Supebird: Furry Planet.


Takes place after the fourth game in the saga, and gives me a chance to experiment and have fun with development again. Also gives me a feel for how big I can make games on free source control.


So how is it YCH? Well, I'd let multiple people into it as NPCs, and letting a bunch of fursonas into the game means free reference art and practice making 3D models.

Gotta finish Yure Goes Hop Hop first, but if you want a spot in the game, feel free to ask.

So yeah, I know I had been thinking of doing a real-time multiplayer tutorial for a break (last break I ended up updating Davidi Hunt instead), but....
At work something occured to me. The turn-based system sends a byte array back and forth, which means I could send ANY object through- including a custom class.
Kinda been itching to try that out again. Idea I had......


Game with three rounds. One player sends enemies, the other one shoots them down. Then you swap roles.

First round only has basic enemies, but second round creates a wider variety, and third round is like the second round but you can send a LOT more.


I could probably create this game in a couple of weeks. It's a pretty simple idea. Only problem is, it'd be android exclusive. Google Play Services isn't available for iOS anymore.

This week they told a Hindu/Buddhist story.....
So in a past life, the Buddha was a rabbit. One day, he asked himself what would happen when the world ended...but he didn't see it happening any time soon and took a nap. After he fell asleep, he heard a loud bang and woke up startled, thinking the world was ending.

He started running, and another bunny asked him, "What's going on?" "THE WORLD IS ENDING!" he replied, and the bunny ran with him.
Then the tigers saw them running and asked what was going on, and he once again said the world was ending. So the tigers joined the running...then the buffalos, the deer, and then the monkeys.
But then they passed the wise lion asked what was going on, and when the rabbit said "I heard a loud bang! The world is ending!" the lion said "Show me."
So they want back to the spot where he heard the bang, and the lion looked around and saw it was a big coconut that had fallen on the ground.



While anxiety can be destructive, it is often exaggerated and is not necessarily a bad thing. If something makes us anxious, it is because we care about said thing. It's a natural emotion, not one that should be feared...and once we realize that, it has less power over us.
Today's sermon almost felt like an Emotions Anonymous meeting. =x

So on today's service, we did a kid's story about fear and we played a game where each group randomly generates a monster.
But the story first....paraphrasing again, as I did not write it down word for word (hard to do that when you're missing three keys on the keyboard)

There used to be a monster in my closet. I always closed the closet door, and I didn't even look at the closet. I would peek sometimes...but one night I got rid of it. It was creeping towards me, and I turned on the light and said "Go away or I'll get you!" It didn't go away, so I tackled it and it started crying.
"Shhh, be quiet, you'll wake up my parents," I said. But he wouldn't stop crying...so I tucked him into my bed.
The end.


As for the game, we were each given construction paper, markers, and a dice. We each took turns rolling the dice and drew a monster based on the dice:
-If we rolled a 1, added one eye
-If we rolled a 2, added one mouth
-If we rolled a 3, added spiky hair
-If we rolled a 4, added one horn
-If we rolled a 5, added one leg.
-If we rolled a 6, added one arm.
