It's been a long time since we've updated out FA. We've moved to other places like Twitter on Instagram to showcase our work. Activity on FA has seemed to dry up as of late. We hope things pick up soon with the site. It's really sad to see the site turn into a ghost town.
Onward to other updates!
This year has been a struggle with all of our traveling and sickness running a muck. Not only was this a trying time for me (I'm the one who's always going through health struggle in the shop), but my friends and family were also very much sick all year. The love of my life has been fighting infections all year long, forcing me to drop work very quickly and sporadically. To those who've been extremely patient with us, I cannot thank you enough. It really warmed my heart to receive so much empathy and understanding back.
We strive to handle issues as soon as they arise. My health problems sometimes leave me down and out for a week or more at a time. I typically power through commissions anyway, but my health suffers. I'm always quick to notify someone in the shop to notify our clients when problems do arise. Folks are either refunded asap upon request or automatically if we feel we cannot meet their deadline due to unforeseen circumstances.

Over the recent months, we've had a handful of folks demand to know every bit of our private life. We typically refund these orders as we feel we cannot provide that level of service. Our shop already works at high capacity with suit heads and full custom costumes rotating out in 1 months time. Most of our custom items do have a 4 week processing time regardless of the custom order. If we're unable to meet our own expectations (deadline) and your expectations, we will refund your order asap. I want to apologize in advance for and hurt feelings this may have caused in the past. Though, I feel this needed to be addressed.

Activity will continue on aetherwears for Twitter and Instagram! We'll post here every now and again, but those sites see daily updates from us as of right now. Etsy is our main storefront, but a site will also be available come 2019.

Commin at yall with a random question. I think I've enough energy to make one more tail for this artshow. I've already made 2 fox tail sets with led horns, a werewolf tail with leds, a dino tail with leds and spikes, a bat fursuit head with a tail.

My question is this. What should my last tail be? It'll have lights in it with a remote.

All scrap boxes will either rbe sold on this FA or on Twitter. We are entertaining the idea of selling the boxes on Facebook at a later time. These boxes were once sold on Etsy, but we feeel the fees for renewing the listings are a hastle for scrap boxes.
I think I'll be sticking toone or two extra large boxes a year versus many small boxes. I'm hoping we can cut back on waste this year, by using up all our scraps. So far, we have used all scrap pieces in our projects, versus tossing them I to a box to accumulate.

Technical Details:

The scales being used will be anodized aluminum from www.theringlord.com . Claws are resin from Dream Vision Creations. Everything is hand knit, sewn, and stuffed by us!

The example in the video is a Large Full Wrap Pair of Gauntlets. We are raffling off a Half Wrap. The wrap pertains to the scales wrapping around the arm.

The gauntlets only weigh about 1.5pounds per arm and come with a machine sewn elastic band to keep them on your arm.

Large Custom commissions are closed until further notice. However, we have smaller ones still available on our Etsy!

I'll also be offering a special for anyone wanting to prototype! I'm looking to make a new pair of handpaws or hooved clompers, a pair of hooves, a pixel led tail, and some ears to match.

If anyone is interested in this prototype set and is willing to give me artistic liberty on all of these, I'd be willing to make the set for 500$ total.
The break down of everything by itself is as follows: (at regular price)
Pixel led tail: Start around 300$
Hooves start around: 150$
Handpaws with leds start around: 180$ / Clompers would start around 200$.
Led ears: 50$

Something like this would be about 700$ seperatly, but if you're looking to buy a set of all of these, we'd be making the set for 500$.
Shipping is included within the US. I can cover half of the shipping for international buyers, but will need a little extra to help with the shipping payment.

I'm looking for someone willing to give me a little artistic liberty on this. If you'd like for it to match a preexisting head, all I ask is that I have some liberty on design, but I'll stick to the color of your suit as best as I can :).

Many awesome folks have asked us to set up a ko-fi account! We made one today, and updated our front page for Furaffinity. We'll also be working in other social media accounts to spread our uploads out. Some have asked about Patreon but I am still. Alittle unsure about setting one up.

Is anyone in here interested in a very old tablet. It's a wacom Bamboo tablet with the pen. Pen still works. Tablet still works. Its an old model so it doesn't have the actual screen on it. It's just a very basic drawing tablet.
I'd be up to shipping it to anyone so long as they can pay for the shipping. If they think they want something just to fiddle/play around with. I figured I'd offer this to anyone without a tablet who wants to play with one.
