Cranking out a ton of new things to add to the shop for Halloween! We're planning a Halloween pre-made or two along with some hoods and kigus with lighting! Our led kigu design was tested today and yesterday. I think it needs some tweaking, but so far it's pretty fantastic! We wanted to offer an led option for kigus and hoods to make the items uniquely Aetherworks! Leds and lights is our speciality, and it wouldn't be one of our items without an led option!

We plan on cranking out kigus and hoods til we run out of fleece. Our collection is extensive from our blanket collection.

Next in our list is possibly a giant futons themed bean bag chair/ stuffed animal.

I'll be updating my trades list to reflect current projects. My list is finally down to 3 commissions and one prize off Etsy. I'm pretty proud of myself for being extremely caught up. I will take this time to work on trades, gifts, and adding new items to the shop.

I fixed the problems I was having with the tail and code after switching operating systems. They are back in the shop again :)

Who is all going?
I was thinking about doing a give away at the con, but I don't know how well that will go down. It's something to consider, if folks think they'll be interested in such a thing.

I am still away on my trip. I have done some pondering while on my break ,And have finally came to decision about selling over FA. After I finish my finally commission here, I may close my notes for good. It is rough giving quotes through notes when I am so very busy with orders on Etsy. If you would like a quote please send me a email or message me through Etsy. It will ensure I get back to you asap, and it will also help me organize a time line for your commission.

Honestly FA orders have came to a crawl. I've only had one through FA in the past few months, whereas, I typically receive 50-100 a month on Etsy and email commissions.

Very rarely do I feel the need to address any sort of issues. I typically handle problems, and I move on from them swiftly. I have seen a raise in this issue. I feel as if I need to address the situation publicly. I do not mean any offence.

I will, in no way, tolerate harassment or rude behavior from my clients. I will not take verbal abuse. If I feel threatened in any way, I will refund you. You will not contact me again after I make a request to cease contact.

In these particular cases, I always refund in full. I wash my hands completely of the situation, especially when I request for anyone to not contact me again immediately after I refund.

I wanted to make it very clear I do not tolerate poor behavior or abuse. I try my best to work with everyone, but enough is enough. Rudeness has been rearing it's ugly hear this year so far. I cannot fathom why this is the case.

I apologize for being so direct about this.
I hope everyone understands my stand on poor behavior.

Next week I'll be finishing up a really neat gator tail! that'll be the end of my FA orders for awhile unless folks message me for quotes. I made a last minute plan to attend Anthro New England. I won't be vending or anything, but I'll be hanging around in my Lazylupe suit and my led horns at night! Hope to see some of yall there!

Until I find a better solution to doing ears with costume jewelry, I will be closing these orders indefinitely. A solution may be found this year, but as of late I've been having severe allergenic reactions to most jewelry folks request on ears. I sometimes have someone in the shop to help with orders, but I cannot rely on them to always be here. I think it will be in our best interest to find something less dangerous for me to use.

Price changes: When we decide on which route to take on jewelry, we'll likely see a price decrease or increase for jewelry additions. It all depend son which route we take.


Taills with wire/bendable cores: I did not realize I had much of a problem with the wire I've been using until my hand started to itch. While the swelling isn't as horrible as jewelry, I'd rather not deal with itchy swelling hands anymore. I'm taking a precaution with all of this as I've recently figured out I've a metals allergy (often severe at times). For now, we'll take on a few of these to allow my assistant extra practice. We want to move away from doing bendable tails anyway, and may opt to do them as premade only :).


I personally do not mean any offence if I decline your commission due to my allergies. There are times when I politely attempt to decline, as I don't like to hurt folks feelings. It breaks my little heart when people become disheartened or upset for declining :(. Please know, if I wasn't severely allergic to some of these materials, I would gladly take on these commissions.

I felt it was best to mention my concerns in a journal so that it is put out there for future reference.

Gosh, I hate this allergy so much D:. Wear ALL the gloves!

My right arm feels so heavy after that Tetanus shot. That's my dominate arm too! It hurts so frekin badly XD. Why did I let them sucker me into getting that booster shot =.=. My left arm also feels like crap due to all the bloodwork done. I know it all needed to be done to ensure I'm still not having issues, but ICKY D8. Don't even get me started on the alergy tests to come =.=.

Is anyone else here allergic to some metals? My hands swell up when I shop with those metal push carts for to long. If I touch my face after touching the metals my lips, nose, and eyelids will swell up too if I rub those sensitive areas. xD. This happened to me at Anthrocon when I touched the metal on my purse and whipped sweat from my face.

This is why I prefer to not work with jewelry on fursuit ears. I need to wear gloves when handling them. What's the fun in that? Does anyone else know a work around for working with fake jewelry in costume making? What do you do to work around the itchy, swelling fingers?

As of 2017 prices will be going up on all of my items in my etsy store. My FA price list will need to be adjusted, but most of my orders now go through etsy anyway! It's really unfortunate I'll need to raise everything slightly, but it is a much needed raise as the business grows. These prices will not increase til the beginning of 2017. This also means all quotes given in 2016 will be void coming 2017, this includes quotes given between now and then. You can lock in your order now by commissioning before Jan 1st, 2017, preferably if you can place a down payment.

Thank you so much for all of the love and support this year. Without all of this support we wouldn't be able to do what we're about to do in 2017. It's a giant step in the right direction we feel! It'll also be one huge step towards selling at conventions as a vendor! :cheers:!

Oooff..Today has been really dreary. I'm having a hard time getting back into the grove of things. I'm giving it my all to get ahead of the curve on things. I don't know what is up with me today. Maybe I'm just a little down after spending all that time in NYC U.U.

Christmas deadlines may close early sue to an unexpected rush of orders. The original US cut off date was the 10th, but as of late the rush started much earlier then expected! I want to ensure everyone has their stuff. I do t have nearly as much energy as I did with Halloween orders lol.

Not to worry. We'll get it all out. Just letting folks know the cut off date may be unexpectedly cut off, for those looking to purchase gifts from the shop :(.

Fleece! Fleece everywhere! We need to empty out fleece stock. Hundreds of yards of fleece are at our disposal. They were meant for blankets, but we underestimated just how much fleece we purchased! Lots of laughs for sure.

With 2017 coming around were tossing up ideas for new products just to get rid of it all. I'm not a huge fan of hats but we've been brainstorming really neat ideas for unique designs.
Bandanas with applique.
Scarves with designs.
Basic Kigurumi designs with plus sizes and tall folks in mind.
Mittens with cute pawpads and claw designs.
And more.
We've so much at our disposal we could even make tails with them upon request.
Some cosplay items might be made as well. We'll see how all this craziness takes off.

After finally catching up with a bulk of orders, I've had a lot of time to let my mind wonder. FA has gotten really quiet this year. I realize maybe I wasn't reaching out as often as I used to, or maybe I've somehow become intimidating. I am unsure if the silence is due to the site quieting down, or if it's some sort of vibe I am putting out lol.

I hope I'm not coming across as intimidating. I'm a big ol softie! Honestly! LOL.

I'm reaching out to ask about this intimidation thing. No one is obligated to reply to this. I'm just curious about another perspective ;A;. Maybe I'm not aware of it, and if I am made aware of it, I can try to make changes to make myself more approachable.

I'll be heading down to NYC for Thanksgiving. My vacation actually starts next Monday and I won't be back until Dec 1st. My Etsy shop will be open, but please note there will be a delay with shipping until I return. The shop is getting closed down. Unless it's a pair of ears we won't be rush shipping a thing to anyone xD.

Also, the deadline to have any sales items like furs, scraps, supplies, or anything of this sort will be this Saturday. I'll be able to do a pick up request for Monday, but that is the furthest I can push shipment. Payment will need to be received before the cut off date to ensure I can have the item out before I leave. Otherwise, any items purchased after Saturday/Sunday will be shipped out Dec 1st. :>.

For anyone who's purchases supplies within the last day or two your items have already been shipped! No worries there!

After a few situations resulting in me covering my ass multiple times last month, I am short about 300$. I was thinking about offering a head commission for that low again, but part of me wants to do a pre-made instead.
What sort of colors would the lot of you like to see? I was thinking the something that's black and white since its easier to sell, but I'd be up to entertaining other colors as well.

I'd also be wiling to entertain giving the pre-made offer to someone. it would be artistic liberty instead. They would be guaranteed the 300$ price versus the starting bid of 400$. You will also have a little bit of sway on the colors.

Example: I'd like it mostly black. Rest of the colors are up to you. But I don't pike this color.
