sorry for this pattern of ghosting everyone for years at a time and periodically checking in-
i just recently decided to get back into art,, for the sake of art? i graduated and immediately started working and havent had a break since. even now this isnt a break (god i need a vacation), but uhh i guess Art Fight got me feeling motivated enough to dip my toes back into this world?? (my username there is vmites-- hmu!!) i feel a bit ashamed that the quality of my art seems to have dropped since putting a pin in it, but im expecting (hoping) for a steep upswing once i get warmed up?

the last little while has been an absolute ROLLERCOASTER. i moved to my own place, got engaged, got a cat, working a pretty cool job.. i think its just poor time management, but i feel like i hardly even have time to play the video games i wanna play!! argh... so many responsibilities ;~; life is passing me by..

anyways, hoping everyone is doing good! love u and care about all of u, even if we don't talk much! we're all buckled into this crazy year of 2020 and im rooting for all of us to get through!

ive been feeling HORRIBLY BURNT OUT LATELY... my anxiety and depression have been ruling my life since May and refuses to give me a break ;_______; on the bright side school will be ending hopefully at the end of April, and i might be able to take some time to rest my head. My personal life is what it is, I'm trying to make the best of it, and things could certainly be worse. On the bright side I'm often surrounded by really supportive and wonderful people. There aren't enough thanks in the world for that! I'm trying to make an effort to be a lil more positive lately so this may be the last you hear me talk about my cruddy baggage. Responses might be slow but I'm always, always open to talking to new people and making new friends.

I genuinely hope you're all doing well- thanks to any new watchers I've had as of late, I'll try to post more frequently!

I found out the short film I worked on with  stasya_sher and some other classmates was accepted to Cannes Short Film Festival in France! So in September I am planning to attend, which is very exciting because I've never been to Europe before! :'3c
Commissions are always open (I should probably get around to updating the prices and setting that up...) BUT in the meantime please feel free to shoot me a note if you have any inquiries regarding the cost of things, and I can send you an estimate based on the character you have in mind! I definitely could use some extra cash for this trip.. it would be super helpful! I also have just recently opened a ko-fi account, which I'll be posting a link to on my page shortly.
