Hello everyone!

I have decided to move my business back to sweetsushi
I started on my main as an digital artist and later on sewings too.
Due the lack of folders on fa I decided to make this account to keep things organized.
Now that they have introduced the folder system a while ago, I've decided it will be easier to have everything on 1 page again!

ATTENTION: I know I have quite allot of followers here and know that there are few people interested in future openings!

First of all I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year! ☆ ♥ ☆ ♥

I hope everyone is enjoying their new years eve ^_______^ We already have enjoyed the fireworks here and now 2 hours after midnight it’s still going. I live on the 9th floor with a view on the big city, so it was very exciting to see! ♥

Another year have pasted and we are mostly settled in our apartment. On top of that my dream to become a freelance artist and seamstress became true ♥ Although my biggest dream has yet to come true tough, to start my own family :3. And now during the last year, my mate was (finally) excited about this idea too ♥ ♥ ♥ But first things first, gotta be responsible :P

I was really happy I was able to provide my own income to cover expenses. At first I was afraid people would stop taking interest in my work, instead I got more work then I can handle. I have made so many art pieces and cute kigurumi pajamas and still going. Eventually I also begun to make splatoon hats which unexpectedly became a huge success. I even made an Etsy shop which can be found on www.fanties.etsy.com

Like every year I am getting the feeling it always been such a busy and stressful year for me. This year was no different and for that reason I hope to change that from now on. It’s starting to get a toll from me and yes I know I sound like an old lady :P I have experienced a burnout…I recently found a physiotherapist who now helps me with my physical pain (like back, neck, shoulder pain and headaches) and next year I will also see a coach who will help me to get my life a bit in order. Getting there!

I have so much more to share (deleted so much hahahaha), I am super excited for this year and I hope you guys are too!

It's been a while since I was able to make a huge update. It's been ridiculously busy ever since I've started to make hats aside my kigu projects.
I will make a separate update about the hats and other projects and focus a bit more on my kigurumi pajamas on this update.

In the past couple of months I was able to work on 3 more kigurumi projects. Originally it where supposed to be 6 kigu projects. However due the unexpected popularity of the hats I had to postpone 3 projects to 2016.
I also had some issues with 1 kigurumi client so that's been postponed too, heck the lack of updates here on furafinity. Together with some other things it caused allot of stress and on top of that I've been sick for almost 3 weeks.
In the end I was still able to finish 2 kigurumi's tough, both of them are gifts and for that reason I am not able to upload them yet. With that said, I will be expecting to post them both by the end of this year and show you 2 awesome kigu pj's as a final for this year 2015! ♥ ♥ ♥

That means I have 4 more kigus left for 2016, check my list here! I guess with 9 kigus done and over 30+ hats (and still going) it's a pretty good progression. Of course I was hoping to open more often for kigu slots and finish allot more, but you never know what comes into your path. I am pretty happy tough and with this amount it's my record for having done so many in just a year. Time really flies!

As for 2016, I really like to focus on finishing the current kigu's and hats first before making any new plans. I still want to make my base too (website, logo, cards). So I really can't tell yet when I will open new slots. I also want to get back to my art a bit and work on my backlog. Hopefully when I have a clean plate, I will have less stress and can focus more on new things (& not just kigus).

I've got allot more to tell you guys, so much going on and so many ideas. But for now I just want to focus on the now and excited to work on my current projects ♥ Thank you all for the huge support and patience with me, I appreciate it allot really! ♥ ^__^

A week ago I finally managed to set up a Etsy Shop, you can find it on www.fanties.etsy.com

I chose Fanties for the name, cause it is a name I wanted to use for a long time and I am planning to make a logo, business card and website too.
This been in the planning since forever, but commissions keeps me busy...and that's a good thing! All tough I rlly need a base :O!
So it's about time to make it a bit more official and promote my work with a cool name ^______^

The reason I chose Fanties is because it is based on Olifant (NL) & Elephant (EN) which is my real passion ♥ I love elephants, so why not combine that with my creations ^_^
I am very hyped and excited to continue my business on this name and looking forward to finish my logo and website :D

I've started with the Splatoon Hats & it's a great success on Etsy. I will have to work hard to finish both orders on Etsy and the orders I got through my form.
This make me think tough, I will most likely close my form very soon. I really like to keep it all in one place (also Etsy rules) and have my Etsy shop grow :3

In the future I will also make different kind of hats, both pre-mades and customs! It's finally going to happen ^_^ I will also introduce backpacks and other cute (elephant :O) stuff ♥
This is all just for the future tough, so not until 2016 or something. For now I like to focus on finishing my kigus, hats, art and working on my Etsy orders ♥

I've got allot more updates kigu wise! But I will save that for another journal ^_^
I will most likely postpone my kigu opening dates :(, as I won't be able to schedule them until next year anyway.
So I hope that will work for you guys (really sorry >_<) and that I can continue to make awesome kigus for you guys ♥ MAYBE gonna do it through Etsy too.

I've spend all day yesterday making my Etsy Shop! But more info about that in my next journal :P

For now I want to announce I am going to upgrade the price for my Splatoon Hats!
I've realized I am making a bit of a loss with paying for shipping boxes, paypal fee and such.
So I have been doing some math :P lol and I am going to chance the prices of my hats.

The Girl Inkling hat is going to be from €50 to €55
The Boy inkling hat is going to be from €40 to €45 (maybe €50 in the future)

I've already updated my Hat Form but if you like the hat for the old prices, you can still do so TODAY!
Requests made today 17-09 will still get the hat for the old prices. After that the new prices will apply.

I've also updated the color varations a bit, you can now choose from 9 main colors and 6 skin colors.
You can send me a message If you like to have something you don't see in the color options!

Soo FA announced folders ♥ I've already organized them on my main account  sweetsushi It works great ^_^

I am kinda wondering tough, the whole reason I made sweetkigus is because I couldn't organize my art and sewing separately on my main so I made this 2nd account.
People now could see all my kigus in one overview without all the random art in between, it gives a better impression of what I make/offer.

Now I kinda made a fanbase here and makes me wonder if I should move everything to my main account and keep everything in one place, but organized in folders ^_^
Everything will be in one place, both art and sewed projects! With the help of folders, you can see one nice overview of a specific product/project aka kigus, hats, art etc.
It would still be mixed on my main gallery, so you would get notifications about art and such too.

I am more active as a seamstress now, so my main account where I upload art is a bit inactive now.
If I would put everything back to one page, I could keep 1 page nicely updated without 1 page being inactive or the other way around.

When doing art, you would know! When doing kigus, you would know!

It will be easier to keep everything on 1 page, but I kinda got used that my art and kigus are separated pages (and I guess you too?) :3
But I am afraid it will be a pain to convince (or rather, they might miss out the moving journal or didn't see my update about it and would be sad if they missed out on something???) my fan base here to follow me on my main account O_O

What do you think?

I am finally going/trying to set up an Etsy Shop. I kinda just postpone that for a while, but ppl are asking me.
...so I guess why not. At first I didn't have anything to actually put up, cause all my work is custom made.
I can post my hats tough and I like to start making some pre-made stuff too, I hope Etsy can be of some help ♥

If you have any tips for me how to start an Etsy Shop or anything rlly, please let me know ^_^

I won't spend too much time on it right away tough, I will setup a quick shop this weekend with the splatoon hats.
I will wait with other crafted projects until next year, since there is still much to do for now ^_^

Atm I am working on the kigurumi for QueenKayara which should be done this week.
It is my birthday in the next week, so I like to spend a bit on art too.
I will also make a few more Splatoon Hats and continue the work on MuffinAngels kigu.
Then in the week after, I need to start a new kigurumi! So yeah, busyyy!

Been a while since I've made one of my journal updates!

Finished 2 kigus recently and currently working on a new one. You can check my queue here and all the projects done here, they are both updated :3

I am sorta on schedule :3 but not quite yet, it's super busy (and still kinda hot)! My mate will be having a week off in the next week and whenever I can I will try to continue working on projects.
I will probably be allot distracted tough or go out for fun things, as that will be our only lil time off not including Christmas :P (no vacation and such).

I have allot of splatoon hats to make, so I will try to make these whenever I can ^_^ I will be making a few purple ones next ♥ Seems to be quite a popular color :3
It takes time & effort to finish these projects, as I am just 1 person with other responsibilities too (some ppl seem to think I have a whole team here :O lol).

First the heat, then I became sick, progress is not going welll...I guess that is the risk of working alone as a freelance artist :O. A week ago after the heatwave, I got the flu! Soar throat and all that stuff that comes with it >_<.

With the heat I could at least work a bit in the early mornings, but with me being sick I tried to work a bit at first but nope in the end I just needed my rest. I am slowly recovering atm, I will not get back into sewing right away with me still coughing, sneezing allot and allergy risk and all.

I am trying to get back into action tomorrow and hopefully win back some time and get back into my original schedule!!! I am thankful for your patience with me. Wish me luck!

Once again I am overwhelmed!!!

I was not expecting that there would be even more ppl interested in this round since the last time.
I just don't know what to do with so many entries, cause I have a really hard time picking designs and not disappointing anyone.

In the end with taking some things in mind I was able to make a final decision tough and was able to pick 3 new kigus designs for the Fall season.
To be honest I almost wanted to accept 4 more :P But if I did that, I wouldn't have the chance to open again for this year and that wouldn't be fair.

The opening new slots thing is really hard and time/energy consuming for me :O I just hope everyone understand my position here!

This kigurumi for atsufawx should have been done already, but because of this heat O_O like record breaking heats I can barely make any progression.
I do get up early so I can be productive in the morning, but as soon its afternoon and the sun is saying hello :P it's becoming really hard to work, I am all sweaty :P.
So yeah this is kinda messing with my schedule, but I will figure something out! Just, have patience with me during this weather >_<

I will still open my new slots for the Fall Season tomorrow as promised. I will just have 1 example less to show :O cause I really wanted to finish this one before I opened my next round..ahwell! Making good progression tough, so shouldn't take much longer ♥

Anyways the plan is to open tomorrow night and I will keep the form open for 48 hours, I will then pick a few designs like my last round and designs that haven't been chosen can try in my next round.
I am not planning to fill all my Fall Season slots, so just a few designs to prepare for those. I will probably open another round during the Summer for more Fall slots and maybe a new Seasonal Special ♥ ♥ Just in case if you where wondering ;)

You can still email me beforehand for a quote if you aren't sure if you want a slot for this round, but I won't reply until tomorrow!
