Posted 10 years agoLeafstrike’s Story(Special edition chapter)Coal’s POVIt’s been about a week since I joined up with Leafstrike and Driftstorm. Driftstorm was super nice, but Leafstrike I knew next to nothing about him besides the fact he cries himself to sleep and acts tough around others. I plan on asking why Leafstrike is the way he is today. It’s probably got something to do with his childhood.
Leafstrike’s POVI glared at the stupid city cat. He walked over to me. “Hey I wanna ask you something?” he asked me. “What!?” I snarled at him. He flinched when I barked at him. “Well….I wanted to know what’s wrong with you I mean like why are this way?” he asked me. I sighed I didn’t want to answer him but I’ve never told anyone why I betrayed Lunarclan and murdered my sister so I wanted to get it off my chest. “Well when I was a kit living in the forest my father and mom were always there for me. I loved my father and mom but most of all I loved my sister. I threatened a guy who started to like date her if he hurt her I would cut off his dick..” I smiled and laughed remembering Blackkit and my sister becoming an item. “Well a few moons later my dad got together with another she-cat. They had kits…..and he…ignored me. I felt lonely and hurt. It messed me up cause I wanted my father to love me and always be there for me. When I heard about another clan across the river I had a dream and I was contacted by a cat from the dark forest. His name was Solar. I thought he was cool and I actually for a bit viewed him as a father until he died for good. I wanted to rebel against my father thinking that would get his attention and love me again. So I left my clan and joined the other clan. When my sister and some other cats found me and called me a traitor I felt hurt and enraged. I didn’t really believe I was betraying them. I flew into a blind rage and murdered my own…..sister. Ever since that day I haven’t been the same and every night I cry remembering her little body being mangled by my claws and it breaks my heart even more than it already is. I never really wanted to kill I loved her. So that’s my deal hopefully you don’t think I’m pathetic.” I looked up at Coal and saw Driftstorm sitting right beside him. ‘Shit.’ “Omfg dude I didn’t know why didn’t you ever tell me.” Driftstorm said looking at me. “Shut up I’m going to sleep.” I said curling up.

Driftstorm’s POV
I woke up to find Leafstrike was gone I was kind of worried. ‘I hope he’s all right but I’m sure he just went to go get food.’ I kept thinking about how we would have to adapt to the city when I heard paw steps. I looked up to see a small black cat they looked to be a kitten almost old enough to be an apprentice. “Do y-you ha-ave any food?” the kit asked me. I stared at the kit, I confirmed the kit was a male. “No I don’t but I think my friend went out to get some, you can stay here if you want.”
Leafstrike’s POV
I was heading back to the place me and Driftstorm had taken refuge with a few rats. I walked into the building. I felt something was wrong as soon as I saw there was another cat standing next to Leafstrike. I dropped the rats. “Who is this?” I asked hissing a little. Driftstorm looked at me. “Oh this,” he said pointing at the kit, “this is Coal.” “What is he doing here?” I asked venom in my voice. “He needs food.” he said looking at the rats. “Ma-ay I hav-ve some?” Coal asked shaking a little. I sighed and pushed one of the rats towards him. “He can’t stay with us very long though cause he should be able to look out for himself.” I said looking at Drift. “Leafstrike maybe we should let him stay with us maybe we can take him back when we go back to Solarclan?”
Coal’s POV
I ate the rat that the cat named Leafstrike gave me. These two cats were strange looking definitely not any cats I have seen around. They were talking about some weird group called ‘Solarclan’. They were definitely weird maybe even mental. I was just glad I had food though it had been a week since my last meal. I scarfed down the rest of the rat and looked at them. “Please may I stay with you?” I asked looking at Leafstrike. He glared at me before giving a small nod. I smiled and asked if I could have another rat. He pushed one of the smaller rats towards me before him and his friend ate the other ones. ‘Maybe I’ll finally have some friends and a place to stay?’ I thought as I laid down. “Well I’m going to go get more food so we can have more until tomorrow night.” Leafstrike said walking out of the building. “Where did you guys come from?”
Third Person POV
Driftstorm looked at Coal after he was done with his rats. “We came from the forest. We were in a clan and Leafstrike got banished when he attacked the leader. I followed him cause…..” ‘D is bomb.’

Chapter 1

Leafstrike’s POV
I looked back at the forest before I went over the fence into the city with my ma…..friend Driftstorm. ‘This place looks like a dump’ I thought as I looked around. There were a few scrawny cats hanging about eating small mice. It smelled like crowfood here. I sighed, “We should look for a place to stay and find some food.” I turned to Driftstorm. “Yeah I guess we should so we have shelter.” Driftstorm looked at me and sighed. “I still don’t understand why you did that back at the camp.” He said walking into the city with me. “I don’t either…..” I said to myself.
Third Person POV
Leafstrike and Driftstorm walked around the city looking for a place to sleep without getting their throats cut in the middle of the night. Leafstrike disappeared from Driftstorm’s view and he freaked. He heard some screaming and he saw Leafstrike run past him with a large dog behind him. The dog was barking viscously and biting at Leafstrike. It trapped Leafstrike in a corner and attacked him. Leafstrike screamed, “HELP!” Driftstorm came out of his small state of shock and leaped at the dog. He bit down on its neck while clawing at the dog’s back. The dog howled throwing him off. Leafstrike streaked past the dog while it was distracted. “RUN DRIFTSTORM!” Leafstrike yelled at him. Driftstorm ran away from the dog Leafstrike right behind him. When they were sure they lost the dog they stopped running. Driftstorm went over to Leafstrike worry evident in his eyes. “Are you hurt?” he asked. Leafstrike lifted his tail to show that half of it was gone. “That dog took half my tail but other than that I’m fine.” he sighed. “Maybe the city was a bad choice.” he said looking up at the sky.
Driftstorm’s POV
I was worried about Leafstrike….not that I like him or anything. He was limping as he walked. It was getting dark and we needed to find a place to stay safe before it got too dark. I saw a small building that looked to abandoned and closed off except for a broken window. I pointed at the building. “We should stay there Leafstrike it looks safe.” I looked at him as he looked at the building. “At least it has a roof.” he sighed walking over to the broken window and jumped in. I followed after him.
Third Person POV
Leafstrike made two beds out of some fabric that was lying around in the building. “Well good night we’ll look for food tomorrow.” Leafstrike said as he lay down. Driftstorm couldn’t sleep that night.
