Yea it’s legit been that long since I’ve been in here, fuck I feel old lol. Unfortunately, adulting has its drawbacks... I haven’t written anything fictional in years, nor have I had the time sadly. Sorry to keep you all waiting, but my career quickly became top priority. Sometimes it feels like I sold my soul to the devil... “we will give you lots of money but you will be enslaved to us for the next 40ish years”....but such is life.

I’ll keep this short and sweet as I doubt anyone that was following me ten.... HOLY SHIT ITS BEEN TEN GODDAMN YEARS?!!!! *sigh* Fuck, I’m old. Anyway, if anyone is still around (which I doubt) I owe you an apology. I’m sorry to keep you waiting. I don’t think I’ll ever have the time or energy to finish the wolf Nextdoor series. Or maybe I did finish it and didn’t know it? To complicate things further, I’m now 10 years older then I was when I wrote it... I can’t exactly relate to the characters in the story anymore. It’s not something I had even considered when I first started typing away back then. I created something stuck in time, or locked a part of me in time...if that makes sense? Regardless, if I ever did get the unlikely chance or ability... or desire to crank out anorther story, it would have be on a completely separate timeline... many years later.

Well, I’ve rambled enough... I’m alive. And as I count down the days to the big three- oh I can’t help but feel nostalgic. I wish I had the energy and passion I did 10 years ago when I started writing... making my own perfect world. I can’t help but feel like after busting my ass through college, then in my career... I actually achieved it. I have everything I could have ever wanted, I never have to worry about anything financially, I’m healthy, I have the best family and friends around me I could ever ask for... but was it worth it? That’s the question I ask myself every day as I stare at my mentally drained self in the mirror after every work day. And to be honest, I’m still trying to decide if it was.

Well, I have totally forgotten to update you guys on where I've been and life and such. Life is good, I guess. I got a job basically a few months after i graduated college.... and said job happened to be not only in the field I wanted to go into, but doing what i wanted as well. The paycheck is well..... lets just say I finally have the chance to get some of the things I've told my self i would when i grew up lol. (I just wish I actually had the time to either a.) actually go out and buy said things or b.) use said things that I have acquired as "presents" for working my ass off) However, with money, job security, 401k's, life insurance, full medical benefits and end of year bonus perks of the corporate world comes with a price: boredom. It took a bit to set in but its been quite the heavy weight over my head ever since. The next 35-40 some odd years of my life are... well going to be virtually the same thing, over.... and over..... and over. Its not all that bad though, luckily the career path i chose means that while my daily schedule may be routine, but the actual tasks I had to do for work are usually always different and so are the people involved, so its not all that bad. Stressful? You better fucking believe it! There aren't enough hours in the day to make some of the work load manageable, but hey, that's life.

So for those wondering where I've been.... well that's where; getting the rest of my life in order..... and shit. lol Would I like to finish my stories? You better believe it. Do i ever have time to do so or the energy? That's up for debate. What I can tell you is that i have some awesome plans for the current vehicle as well as very near future plans to finally acquire my dream vehicle. (For the fans that read my stories and who I am forever grateful for: Max's father owns one). So i have also been getting the plans in motion to make that become a reality as well. (Finding a place to keep a.... well.... semi-exotic vehicle is quite challenging lol).

So, that's whats new in my life. Surprised? shocked? confused? DGAF? You tell me... really I'm all ears...

So, despite that i got stuck in class most of the day, my bday ended up being pretty awesome. My dad surprised me with my most favorite dinner ever, then my friends call me down to the marina (the place where i work) and had poker table ready to go for a nice little hold'em tournament between me and my friends. lol, suckers said i had to win my birthday money from them.... so i did MUAHAHA. overall, a great time with good food, good beer, and good friends. What more can you ask for?

Eh, kind of a random journal, but i needed to vent a bit. After selling the Legend, i ended up picking up a new toy (a 6 speed Acura TL with Navigation), and after a little over a year of ownership its been great. However, while needing FAR FAR less maintenance then the Legend ever did, there comes a time when things WILL have to be replaced; and finally i have to crack open the old wallet to do so. So why am i venting if its just normal maintenance? WELL due to my need to have the rare 6 speed manual, i ended up shooting myself in the foot without knowing it. Why? The 6 speed versions of the TL come with certain parts and features that are UNIQUE to the manual transmission cars. For those non-gear heads in the room that don't know what i'm on about: rare versions of cars with different and model specific parts = expensive.

Now, the whole reason for this journal: Like most cars a brake job (pad and rotor replacement) is a normal maintenance procedure that occurs many times in the car's life. Usually, the costs of the parts are extremely reasonable and the job is easy to do yourself if you know your way around a socket set. On my TL however, this isn't the case. While it is not any harder to do the work myself, personally the setup is actually easier to work on, the cost of the parts to do so are over 2 to 3 times more expensive than your average vehicle. Why? Because 6 speed TLs ALL feature HUGE 4 piston Brembo brakes on the front wheels; something that distinguishes the manual TLs from the automatics as well as being a necessity for handling the increased performance of the manual trans version of the car. So, because they are Brembos, and made for high performance, and you can't get cheeper aftermarket replacements (only more expensive aftermarket improvement replacement parts) a trip to the dealer or an order directly from Acura's online parts store is a necessity. *sigh* so not only did i have to pay close to 3 times what a normal brake job parts cost adds up to, but now i have to wait for the frigging parts to ship before i can get wrenching.

I think thats what im most upset about. Normally, if i need something i just go to the parts store and grab it then go back to the heavenly peace and tranquillity of my garage to kick back and relax in one of the best ways i know how... tinkering on cars. Needless to say it becomes a huge buzz kill when you get all exited and ready to spend time working on your car and relaxing only to find out that that isn't an option until the parts arrive.... Fu@#! Therefore... defeated and no longer able to enjoy "garage time".... i have come here to vent. Well, i feel a little better at least. lol maybe i should go and break something else to i can go replace that instead? No, bad idea... it would probably end up being even more expensive. lol enjoy your weekend guys

For those that don't know I am a CT resident and this unfortunate tragedy has completely shocked everyone not only in this state but nation wide. ^ oh yes, she finally ended the delusional stage and went straight into the full on spiteful "i hate you" stage. Add what i think is undiagnosed Bi-polar syndrome to that and the shit storm that has ensued is biblical. I cant say i wasn't expecting it however, once she realized I wasn't bluffing or coming back she went into full blown motherfuckingsonofabitch mode. But, instead of taking it out on me, she went after my friends and family..... THAT i was not expecting. So its been quite a crazy day dealing with all the phone calls and txts from everyone telling me about their encounters with my psycho ex today... thankfully most were like "WTFBBQ LOL" and it was all good. Its good to know that she is afraid to attack me directly. Why? 1. she knows she fucked up and was wrong.... and 2. She knows that she never can and never has won an argument with me, because I never argue unless I'm right ;). Anyway, i want to say thank you to all you guys who have given me support and kind words over the last few days, it really means a lot and has truly helped get me through this unfortunate time. I just hope my shitty Monday experience can make yours just a little bit better.

Ok so after almost a week....i now have a working computer. I ended up sending it to a specialist to fix it, he got the virus off but it was still running like s#!% so i told him to just start from scratch and rebuild the system. *sigh* atleast i had my music and a few pictures backed up....

sorry, i needed to rant. This is not the best time for my computer to be f-ing up; aka with finals around the corner. Ive been trying to fix this thing for over a week and a half and im sick of it, i could care less if it burst into flames and i lost everything at this point. *sigh* I got it mostly back in order but i can't use any search engines, they just redirect to some bs site and im sick of trying to fix it. And no, im not getting a friggin mac. FML

Hahaha, ya i know its been a while guys, im sorry for the long wait for chapter 7. Things have been well, frigging nuts. More of the usual; speeding tickets, court, fines and what not.... i really need to stop getting tickets. Anyway, after a 7 month ticket fiasco.... things are finally, dare i say back to normal? Well, there's college being a giant pain in my ass and taking all my time away from having a good time, parting and women.... and writing but things seem to be calming down enough to get back into the swing of things. Im planning on getting chapter 7 done by or over spring break, which is actually around the time i wrote my first story. But, come hell or high water, i will get it done.


In other news.... ya 900 pageviews, damn thats wild... well for me anyway. Im by no means famous on here but its cool to see people are still checking in to see if anything has happened with the stories, and that alone is motivation in itself.
