A number of things recently decided to hit me hard in regards to life and everything, but I'm taking it all in my stride and dealing with it one step at a time. One of the *new* problems that has arose (as many of you might have gathered from talking to me on IMs) is that once again, my ISP have screwed me over with an unbelievably crap speed. This marks two and a half months of almost consecutive connection issues, and I used this to elevate my complaint further. Finally today I decided I wouldn't take it any more and filed for my MAC code, and also managed to get them to waive the disconnection fees based on the fact that the amount of time I had been on the service was almost parallel to the amount of time I'd had problems with it; I essentially convinced them that the whole time I'd remained on the contract was me giving them enough time to try and fix the problem and enough was enough. Thanks to official law that corresponds with this claim, they had no choice but to cancel the contract without charging me the remaining contract's fees. I will now proceed to join an ISP that has been recommended by a friend of mine who has been on their services for more than a year, so I can at least trust his opinion.

I kinda feel stupid for going with Orange in the first place, but at the time, I thought going with my mobile provider (yes, I know) would be a cheaper option, what could go wrong?
hopefully once the process has cleared and I move to my new ISP, I should be able to view images online again without having to wait a whole ten minutes, whilst hoping the connection doesn't abort the download. HENCEFORTH WORK WILL RESUME.

Is this normal? Is it some kind of bug? Are there more commissioners out there who post journals about them streaming, or opening for commissions, who delete the journal once they're done? Or does FA really have that many regretful posters? Dx

Also, tablet pen didn't arrive. had to re-order but got issued a refund. Now the only thing I lose out on is days. :/ Sorry for the delays guys, hopefully this freak weather will drop long enough to get me something.

Sorry for being so lagged on the art front, guys. Having trouble with my tablet pens; one's gone missing and my backup won't even work. I've ordered another and checked everywhere I could have thought the working pen would be, but the order's taking a bit longer than I'd hoped (probably due to the snow). Hopefuly it'll arrive before christmas and I can squeeze a few in before then; yes, if I get my pen, I'll be working between christmas and new year, though family beckons on christmas.

I've actually done a couple of commissions but I don't really want to upload them until I've done a few more Iron Artist slots; if they're your commissions, you'll have heard about it. :b

Watching this scene without the voices, just the score in the background, makes it so much more moving. I dunno. I don't think a song's ever brought me to tears for no personal reason before, not even this one (granted during the movie and with the actors sprawling about the place weeping and moaning about a late Wizard (see what I did there), and this one just did. When I was a kid I used to marvel at those egg-shaped wonders I just couldn't afford in the shops, bursting with excitement as my mum would pick one off the shelf and buy it for me. She'd usually make me wait until we got home so I wouldn't lose anything and I'd itch and whine and bug her for it right up until I held it in my hand. the thin chocolate shell, although undeniably tasty, was the last thing going through my mind as I quickly popped open that awkward orb hidden inside and revealed which of the eight or nine toys I'd got.

Today I saw them on offer and just couldn't resist myself. the toys inside were apparently from a 'Dog Story' which further convinced me it would be good for old time's sake. When I upload a submission *and* its preview at the same time, it processes the submission without the main submission file. Previewing the pic turns out an empty box. I then have to 'change submission file' and re-upload. Does anyone else get this problem or is it just me?

Right, so Hallowe'en was tonight and the even myself and my friends had been preparing for weeks for came and went; and turned into a really awesome night. :D Our 'L4D2 Posse' looked as good as we could make it look with the time and stuff we had, and overall the night was a great barrel of laughs. I went as a charger (lugging a giant, heat-conducting Paper Maché arm around was hard work!) and those who knew what L4D2 was were quick to jump in for photos! I even stitched together a Medkit from materials, including a zip so it can actually be used as a container, and I plan on keeping it for all the pain it caused my fingers. ¦3

That said, I now have more time to work on commissions again and, as shown by the uploads, I'm getting straight into it. Hope you guys' hallowe'ens were as enjoyable as mine! :D
