I apologize for extended delays on getting back to commission work.

I've spent nearly a week being a slave the the pain that was piercing from one of my teeth up into my brain. Needless to say, there was a lot of sleeping, and a lot of slinking away, as soon as I started working on something, to lay down and wish the pain away while I waited for pain killers to kick in. Anyone who has had to deal with tooth and/or mouth pain, I am certain would understand.

As of the moment, my mouth is doing well enough, that I should be able to get back on task. Which is great! Because I've been thinking about it. And worrying. And feeling guilty that my own health keeps getting in the way of me finishing things. Seem, any time I get on a roll, I end up being somewhat sick, I hit art block, or my teeth start hurting something wicked. (for those wondering, I have genetically terrible teeth, meaning that quite a few of them have developed cavities or started to fall apart despite brushing the fuck out of them)

:T Oh well. I have... Six commissions to go. Though I suppose I'm going to say 5, since one of my commissioners hasn't talked to me since she first requested one. And she hasn't bothered to pay either.

I've been um... Collecting myself mentally the last week and a half or more. Not sure how long it's been now.

And I think I'm just about prepared to start working on what commissions I have left, again. We'll find out if I'm able to draw properly when I set my stylus to tablet again.

I apologize for delays. Hopefully things will work a bit faster once I've got my juices flowing again. C:

On another note, I filed my taxes... And the fucking company took an extra $6. SO WHEE, TRYING TO MAKE THAT UP OUT OF THIN AIR.

How would people feel about that? I'm thinking about doing an Iron Artist some time in the future, but would you enjoy the chibi theme over all? Of course, I could fiddle with themes there in. Like strip tease, lingerie, etc. But yeah. Anyone jive with that?

Once I'm finished with the current commission I am working on, I will be slowing down and/or taking a break for a few days to get my head back in the game. I've hit a burn out block, and it's not helping me get commission work done any faster. :T I'm sorry for delays. But I don't want to sacrifice quality just to assure that people get the art they paid for. I want you to get what you paid for, and for it to look like it was worth paying for.

I was trying to up my game. But burn out has smacked me in the face like a two ton heavy thing.

Hopefully after a few days I will be able to pick up where I left off. I'm totally still looking forward to drawing some of these. But goodness if my hand isn't fighting back.

Payment for the figurine I am buying is currently at $70/$73, once I get one of my other payments, then I'll be perfectly fine as far as that is concerned.

Which brings me to my next point. I will be kicking myself in the butt to get commission work done. Because I need to open commissions again. I'll be working on a price guide in down time from commissions. And then I will only be taking commissions through that. THOUGH I will have sales on specific items, either for their popularity, or at my own discretion.

I need to pay for taxes by April 15. So I'll keep you posted on that.

Just want my commissioners to know I /am/ actually working, or at least attempting to, on commissions. Just have been going through a bit of a block as far as anatomy and posing is concerned. But I'll be cracking down all the same. ♥

Yo, so, I know I'm not the world's fastest artist or anything. Many of the commissions take me 3 days at a time, or more if there's a crazy amount of detail. I am attempting to get faster, as I actually need to open commissions up again after I'm finished with my current queue. But I don't want to totally throw any quality there is out the window just to finish things quickly. lol

Am I taking too long for some of you? Is it uncomfortable for you if I skip around my queue so I'm getting art done for people who haven't paid me, and for ones who have?

I'm taking a couple of days break from commissions to work on a little bit of personal character work. Monday I will start back up on commission work. A little update, the date I need to pay my second bill was extended to March 10th. So hooray for that. However, I will not be letting up on the commissions. I want to get them done well, but soon so none of you amazing people are waiting forever.

I will be closing down the deals for the emergency commissions by the end of next week, and opening a bigger list of them soon. I will have deals every month or two however. I'm planning, for the deals once I open up a more extensive list to start with blinking (eye)cons like <-- the one I did for this account of mine. (bigger version can be found here) I'm thinking about $15 for the deal.

If you guys have any ideas for the types of things I should offer, just let me know in a comment or a note. I'm still working on things like backgrounds in general, so any commissions I do will be of a pinup or portrait fashion mostly.

I won't really be able to slow down much on any of this though, because of bills and owed payments to things, unless I end up getting a part time job. If that happens, I'll be sure to let you all know.

So, I was really trying to hold off on commissions until I got some other things done, and trying to manage what bills I have on my own, without adding anything on. But I have some payments due the next this month and next, and am starting to crunch on time. So, I need your help. My apologies to those who are waiting for some gift art or my half of a trade. :/ As well as to Sherri.

My bills total to about $110. I need $35 by the 10th of this month, and another $75 by the 10th of February. This is slightly more than I need, in an effort to create a safety net for myself.

I am cutting the prices I was going to put everything at in order to make my stuff affordable. Slots will be unlimited, but will close as soon as I hit my goal, until I can also manage to clean up some other backup.

I will only be offering busts and waist up pictures at this time. While I enjoy fullbody images, they take a lot longer.

I am willing to do fanart, OCs, WoW characters, Gaia Avatars, whatever you want, within reason. If your character seems too difficult or detailed for my flat costs, I have every right to decline your offer. I don't want to have to do that, but I also don't want to lump too much onto the flat rate.

Commissioning Me:


I will gladly take notes or PMs, or Emails. However, as a general rule I prefer that you use the application provided. Simpler for both of us.

Payment:


Payment methods can be discussed.
I am happy to either do all now, payments, or half at the beginning and half in the middle. Whatever makes the client happy.

Payment must be fully paid before commission completion.

Prices are as stands unless I contact you otherwise, or update my prices. I will not simply drop it on you, and will discuss prices to ensure you know what you are paying before you pay it.

Refunds:


Refunds can and/or will be issued on case by case basis for numbers of reasons.

If you wish for me to issue a refund it will be based on the amount of work done on you commission. If I have not started you will get a full refund. Depending on the stage of completion however, it will be less.

If I feel I cannot complete your image, for whatever reason, I will issue a full refund to you.

Tips:


Tipping, while more than greatly appreciated, will incur no special treatment to the client. It will neither affect the end outcome of the commission nor urge me to rush through the image faster.

Surprises or Gifts:


I am more than willing to work with a client who wishes me to do surprise or gift commissions. If there are any stipulations for such cases, they can be discussed. I can hold off until posting for a certain day; or until the client wishes me to officially post the surprise or gift. I can also exclude names and other such pieces of information from my public to do/commission list, as needed. Simply request if you would like your order to be marked as [surprise] or [gift] and I will happily do so.

Progress:


I will not start any commission until at least a single payment has been made.

Progress shots or WIPs can be requested at any time, within reason. I will not yield, for example, a progress shot every hour. I will, however, keep you updated if you so wish. I simply request enough respect to not be badgered

All WIPs and progress shots will be watermarked and/or downsized. Likely both.

Progress shots are often sent at the sketch, lineart, and flats stages.

Edits:


I will allow a number of edits, depending on picture size, and difficulty. Understandably a sketch will be allowed less edits than a fully rendered image. I will, however, work within the best of my ability to achieve what is asked.

Most pieces will be allowed 2 (two) large edits, changing of pose, clothing and other big details, or re-rendering (for digital pieces) of sections of color.

Most pieces will also be allowed 3 (three) max small edits, small color changes, editing of fine details, accessory changes and the like.

All large edits incurred past the first two will cost an extra $5 each.

All small edits incurred past the first three will cost an extra $3 each.

Once the image has reached the stage of completion I will allow no more edits. The image will be completed as is at this point.

Copyrights:


All rights of completed artwork are bound respectively to the artist, namely, myself.

Clients are allowed to freely post the art in personal galleries; with credit back to myself, gallery, email, etc (whichever is easiest). Clients are also allowed to edit or clip their commissions as they see fit for their own, noncommercial interests.

Clients may not use images commercially without:
- My express permission
- Buying the rights to the image

Using the commission commercially entails; printing on clothing, album covers, art cards, printing in a magazine, selling prints, or anything that would consist of the client making profit off of the image.

If you wish to use an image commercially, please contact me and we can negotiate the cost of the rights.

I am allowed to post images on any site I see fit, or include them in a portfolio, if not stipulated that the commission is private.

Private commissions will incur extra costs, base price starting at $10 and upward depending on the size of the order.

Due Dates:


As a general rule I do not work with due dates. I prefer working on client's orders at my own pace. However, I am more than willing to work with any client that has a special event in the future and wishes their product be completed by a specific date.

I request that all due dates be at least a week in advance. I prefer two weeks to a month however, to ensure that things are completed properly and make it to you in decent timing. If you have any questions about due dates please contact me and we can discuss it.

Shipping:


I am more than happy to ship any finished product to a client; original traditional images, or digital prints. However; shipping and handling must be paid in full by the client. Shipping -is- optional.

U.S. 3-7+ days: $3-$6
Priority 1-2 days: $5-$10
International: $3-$7

Some items will have free shipping, depending on weight, packaging, and where it is being sent. This will be discussed case by case.

I don't have much preference in medium. I prefer digital for size and lighting ease, especially in the cases of full body images. However, I prefer traditional, at least simply for being able to work with the supplies hands on.

My working size depends. I can usually fit more interesting things in smaller spaces but enjoy working with larger canvases or papers if given the chance.
