Hah... Actually, this is my user name almost anywhere. A literal translation of Syan actually means "little blue". However, Syan was actually one of the first characters I ever stuck with, and probably one of my oldest that I still use from time to time. He's somewhat of a male, bratty, princely version of myself. However, Fayde/Fead is more true to the me of now.

I absolutely loathe my motivation recently. It's here and then gone. Here and then gone. And, as per usual, I cannot fathom the cause. But it certainly is irritating the fuck out of me. D8

Well, that and my slight style changes as of late. Not sure most people have noticed them. I sorta like them, but I'm not sure to stick with further "psuedo-realistic-anime-ish" or sorta switch back to me sorta anime-sorta realistic(not so much) style. XD The former takes a bit longer, and I can't always get it to work the way I would like it too. Which leads to be being angry at my art. And I've had enough of being angry at my art. lol But. D8 If there's the possibility to move forward, even if it's a baby step or two, then I'd rather not abandon the chance. ... CHRIST. What am I talking about?

Also. -_- Craving to draw many much WoW art. But, yeah. Lack of motivation and guilty feelings until I finish all (or most) of my owed list.

I just watched it tonight for the first time. I bought it for my mom and dad as a sorta "Happy Holidays" gift, mostly because I was getting irritated with the fact that they never bought it (it was only $7.50 damnit!) and that they would watch it EVERY time it came on TV. Now I understand why they watched every time.

I'm not quite sure where to begin with it, and I don't want to give the whole movie away. Well, since it is a bit jumbled in my mind, from the slight headache I have now, I guess I don't have much to give away. I'm heart broken for some things that happened in it, but unlike Brokeback Mountain, I'm sure I will watch it many times over. (yeah I know. I'm a weirdo for not wanting to watch BBM over again, but I'll say this. It's a wonderful movie, I own it... But it just broke my heart in a terrible, unspeakable way.) I'm also a little ticked off at other parts... And then otherwise questioning myself.

I will let on that the movie primarily focuses on a "Skin Head". That is, a Neo-Nazi person. And understand that the movie isn't glorifying said person. However, I've never really agreed with Nazi-ism or Neo-Nazi-ism. Sure, I like Swastikas, and I AM fascinated by Hitler's reign and otherwise the Nazis. They were fluid, and impressive, despite not quite right in the head. (But then again, and I've wrote a paper on such, I think some went with it to not die, and others helped the Jews out, even in small ways. Not all Nazis were indeed evil... Though there were some bad ones... *gets back on point*) However, some of the things said in the movie I couldn't help but agree with, frightening really, because I don't like discrimination, and I'm not for "WHITE POWER!". But some things hit home, and they weren't all that discriminatory... They just made sense. Makes you think about how fucked up the American Government is to their own people.

That said, I definitely don't think of myself as some White Elitist. I'm not even completely white, so for me to think so would only lead to hypocrisy. And I'm not going to run around and go "All the colored people need to die! 8U". I understood where parts of the movie were coming from. I agreed, but that doesn't mean that I hate others or anything of the sort. A frightening revelation none the less. But, I also like where the movie ended, at one point, because it shows a transformation of the main characters. A switch in mind set... And yet the discrimination even from black to white; as well as vice verse.

Still... The ending leaves me shocked, as well as multiple parts of the movie. And, I implore others to watch it. I'm sure some people would think I'm sick for watching something like it, or perhaps a bit demented. lol But I'll admit that I do like looking into the character of people and understanding them, knowing how their brain works and really, truly understanding where they come from. XD But still. It's a good, GOOD movie.

So if you haven't seen it... GO WATCH IT DAMNIT!

I'm sure some of you noticed my lack of being online yesterday. You'll have to forgive me. I woke up yesterday with my left cheek swelled up. The day previous my tooth had been hurting, but though it hurt a little more than normal, I thought nothing of it. However, yesterday I was freaked out. My cheek has never swelled up before, during one of my tooth episodes.

I tried to not go into work, but couldn't get anyone to come in for me. One person was home with a sick child, and the other wasn't answering her phone. So, needless to say, I went in. And bawled my eyes out a bit. I had taken Vicodin though. XP So I was sorta stumbling all over the place. XD

Anyway, my mom and aunt were worried about me. So, not even an hour into work, they called the dentist and then got me down there. Turns out I have an abscess. It is on my upper gums around my left broken wisdom tooth. It's location is deadly though. If it were to rupture, it would go to my brain and I would die. Needless to say, they quickly set up an appointment.

So, in about an hour, I'll be going to the dentist and they will be taking my tooth out... Granted I can open my mouth far enough. XD It's been a bit of a problem recently to do so.

But yeah. If you don't hear from me today, it's because I'm recovering from having the tooth taken out. I've taken to dying on the couch most of the day. lol

Edits of Doom!

Soooo... I'm still alive over here! 8D Though, once the numbing shit had worn off I wanted to kill myself. I had a terrible headache.

But yes. The tooth is out. It took maybe 25 mins for the whole thing. Most of that was me talking to the assistant before the doctor got there. I seriously expected something to hurt while he was prying and then wiggling my tooth out... But all I felt was pressure. Thankfully, the infection from beneath the tooth started draining out as soon as they got the tooth out. (which was ugly and bloody, and yet cool looking.)

So, I don't get to swish our spit anything for the day, nor do I get to use straws. But that's alright. I'll just drink my flavored water and eat my apple sauce and chocolate pudding. 8U

The cost wasn't really all that bad either. The exam, picture of my tooth, as well as the procedure only ended up being $190 total. And my meds only cost $34 or so. All of which I'm going to be paying my parents back for. :shrug: Not too bad.

At a later date I may get my other broken tooth taken out, though it never gives me any problems. Still, I don't want another abscess. My cheek is still all swollen, but the dentist said that the swelling would go down in a couple of days. So YAY!

... And oddly my mouth doesn't really hurt all that bad right now. Maybe it's because I slept most of the pain away. Anywho. There's the update. I'm peachy. Have a new hole in my mouth, but am happy that I'll never have to deal with that broken tooth again.

I also plan on getting something done of Syan, because drawing Egyptian Siamese pretty boys is <3. Sorry for all the journals today. This is an effort to get my last journal off my page for now though. I don't want to have to sit here and constantly think about possibly asking people for donations... Makes me feel bad. XP I'm thinking about just going and getting what I need done, have a payment plan, and deal with it that way. As much of a pain in the ass as that will be anyway. -_-;

Start a charity/donation like thing to raise money so I can send myself off to the dentist and get everything that's wrong with my mouth fixed? I Have a part time job, and I make about $300 a month. (Give or take. I barely started 3 weeks ago. lol) It would take 2 months to raise enough money to POSSIBLY get my wisdom teeth taken out (though one hasn't broke through, so that would probably cost more.)And who knows how much it might actually cost. I was thinking around the $150/per tooth range...

If I let a dentist into my mouth, they will probably also want to fill all my cavities. I'm not against the thought, so much as I know it's going to cost a lot of money to also get that done. And heaven forbid they find a reason for a root canal. ^^; That will cost even more.

Anyway, I still owe a few commissions and all... But once they are done, I could open up a charity/donation thing. The only problem is, I don't want to get backed up on full color images. I was thinking, perhaps sketches at $5 a pop or something of the sort. Or perhaps:

$10 for bust
$15 for full body

But, yeah. I'm not exactly wonderful at pricing my things. I could also do small, colored headshots or chibis... But I'm not sure. XP I guess I'll wait for what you guys have to say.

I can't quite tell you what I'm happy about. But let me just say this. My dad just got a check for a "wow" sum of money that we've been waiting for; for a while. We are all bouncing up and down, since we've been having to be good and not splurge at ALL recently. And with people who have always had very little most of the time, it gets hard when we can't have a little fun. ^^ (Don't get me wrong, we've always had food, and a roof over our heads. But sometimes it's nice to go out and be like "I want to do this!" And have the extra bit of money to. But sometimes money is too tight to be like that.)

As for being miserable. I believe I shall never eat again. lol I have a throbbing headache in my left temple, and my gut feels like it is going to burst. TOO MUCH FOOD. x.x Or rather, too much food, and then icecream on top of that. Blarg.

XD I've tried and failed to make a fursona since my old one really wasn't me anymore. And as much as I love Syan, he's my base name/artist name/internet identity, not my persona/fursona.

My last fursona ended up being somehow a representation of my mother as well. XD And as much as I love her, that was just... Not right. It didn't feel like MY fursona, it felt like OUR fursona. I have plans to make her a new fursona (a gryphon) but as far as mine goes... I'm rather lost.

I tried making a new one a few months ago. It ended up not going all that well. XD So, help me? Just some general ideas would be great. I didn't think I'd get much of a welcome back. ^__^ It's been a long, long hiatus from here, but I think I might actually come back to some of my Anthro and Kemonomimi roots. (Always be an Anime girl, but still. Anthro and Kemonomimi rock, for serious.)
I'm desperately hoping to have some new works up soon. ;3 Well, pertaining to the theme, that is.



To the old watchers:
I don't know how many of you are still around. I'm sure you're tired of my comings and leavings. I've just been in a crisis I guess. Having denial over your own art really doesn't make you want to stick around a website. Especially if you feel like you are the worse anthro artist ever. But, I AM back.

Perhaps quietly, perhaps with a vengeance. Maybe this time my gallery will grow.

I plan to be around a whole lot more, with pretty arts and wacky journals.
