General | Posted 4 months agoMy mother is still unemployed and i'm paying more then half the rent on what is... not the strongest salary, ontop of other bills i just got hit with a fee for late registration so i need some help, I don't like taking donations/money especially from strangers but I'm happy to draw for some, so-

I've spent this month taking a break from drawing pages to write future chapters and try and draw some regular stuff for everyone to enjoy but I'm approaching just being burnt out ontop of stress from bills and whatever is wrong with me medically, so i appreciate any help.

General | Posted a year agoLife update I finally got myself a car! I'm still working on learning how to drive the dang thing but hopefully this will make things easier down the line (job, moving to the BF etc.) I mostly hate driving but i just have to keep in mind that some of the stupidest people around can drive, if they can do it, i can do it!

General | Posted a year agoHello! It's been a minute since one of these, Things have gotten really tight at home (two of my 3 roommates are jobless and i pay the rent so they owe me quite a bit of money..)
I figured i could do a YCH as i always have tons of unused sketches laying around, I'm trying something different with this one, you get a group AND solo! so if you're curious please check it out! (you will need an IB account to bid!)

The arrangement is that the rent is split 4 ways, i pay it then they pay me back this way nobody is "late" and we aren't at risk of Fees, but what it means is well, i am owed a lot of money... (currently they each owe me over $1000 each) The move was a bomb to my savings and we're still trying to recover

General | Posted a year agoTitle is what it says, looking for some variant cover artists for Issue 8, Twitter has made it really difficult to even get ahold of people to hire so while I'm waiting on some replies i thought i'd ask here aswell, If you're interested just reply here with ideally some examples of your work and a rough estimate or just a price sheet, etc. No guarantee obviously but I'll absolutely take a serious look at anyone who responds (not just now but down the line as well)

Okay we found a place but...
General | Posted 2 years agoI took a week off work and hunted to find my family a home (we all work so it was hard to find time to look) and I managed to find one. It was tricky because we (ideally) want everyone to have their own space and we have two animals (cat, dog) and MANY places that rent around here don't want you to have an animal for some reason!! it also had to be kind of in the area since we all work in the area and I don't drive but I did manage it!
It did basically take a grenade to my savings with everything going on and what we'll need which is like the deposit, we have to get the cat neutered (man that's not cheap) my brother needs repairs on his car and moving costs for like the truck and stuff so I'm thinking of doing some kind of sale (comics half off? limited lower-cost commission slots?) to help out so if those things sound appealing let me know because uh.. damn we need money haha.. but yeah So now it's a matter of packing and saving up our money because our rent has basically... almost tripled we just have to hope we're not jumping out of one hole and into another I guess.
As for art stuff, the comic still has many pages to post before I run out so that won't stop anytime soon (Issue 4 is posting publically and I'm currently drawing Issue 7) so it's not really at risk for a while of running out of updates, I am hoping to resume work on 7 once we're moved in and settled (around or just before November?) then I hope to finish it before the year ends (we'll.. see..)
as for other stuff, I do have another comic project I'm developing this one is porn with a few OCs you've seen me post, it's just figuring out what it'll be about/etc. I may even draw all the OCs more and run polls or something but that's... awhile away for now

so we have to focus on packing and finding a new place to live, I still REALLY don't want donations until things are way more desperate, but I can queue up any commission orders if people are willing to wait a bit to get them, or you can again buy my books and digital art projects or support the patreon!
It's unfortunate that this has to happen this way, i was finally starting to get on my feet.

General | Posted 2 years agoSo I got some unfortunate news about my current living situation and have to kind of put everything aside to deal with that, its all very "wait and see" at the moment, we hear more on Thursday I believe, but at the moment it's likely that either our rent is going to be doubled or we'll be straight up evicted either way, its something I kind of have to deal with once i hear more so i wanted to let everyone know things *might* slow down a tad, Commissions will still be open though there will be a slight delay with the time tables I usually stick to
.. as for WILDSTAR
there will possibly be a slowdown to a hiatus in production, Pages will still post each week (up to Issue 6 is finished so no problems there) I do want to try and finish the pages I'm currently working on (10/11/12 of Issue 7) So it may get delayed a bit from my goal of finishing it before the year is over (hopefully I can manage that still we'll see)
As for why this is happening basically, the family member who we thought owned the property we live on possibly.. doesn't.. which complicates things with the person who actually does, that person is either going to repair and double the rent or just ask us to leave which is tricky as we had lower rent rate per person for the area we live in and work in, family eh? It's been one thing after another this year.
I don't want direct donations as of this moment because money from strangers makes me uncomfortable but if you want to help you can buy my comics, support the patreon, or buy a commission, those things help me and you get something in return which I am much more comfortable with if things get dire then that could change (let's hope not because I frankly am nearing my limit of "bad things" happening this year)

I FINALLY got my computer back and luckily the quote wasn't as high as I was told (thank god) it was still like $300 or so total but that's better then the almost $700 before, I'm gonna try and draw in full force though i did get a new job so I'm adjusting to way more hours so we'll see how that goes (I'm very tired all the time atm) as for the gall bladder recovery SO far i am fine? I'm eating better but when I've had "bad food" I've also been okay? I'm still pacing myself (maybe that's why I'm fine?) but either way things are finally improving or just getting back to normal haha

General | Posted 2 years agoGall bladder removal recovery is going good, the hardest part is the new diet as I was a junk snack fiend with a high metabolism so I'm sort of used to just eating whatever I want, hopefully, I'll find new stuff to eat that I like (so far it's HARD, I miss hot Cheetos)
as for the computer! I have my older laptop set up so I can draw now though it's slow and takes a shit every time I save in art programs (scary) the part the repair people needed for my laptop was in TAIWAN and is taking a while, hopefully, I hear back Monday, next time I'm honestly just gonna go buy a new one because this is ridiculous! (I wanted it done fast!)
WILDSTAR Issue 6 is like 90% done, and Issue 3 is VERY close to being done posting, If you enjoy the comic please buy the issues (full HD, plus bonus and BTS content) or support the Patreon! - $40 for consultation
- $150 for labor
- $459 for the part
as you can imagine I work part-time in an expensive state to live in so... that's a lot, I'm trying to get it fixed quickly right now I'm on an older laptop that is a few years out of date and it's also being funny (just my luck)
Thanks for bearing with me I'm trying to figure something about, but despite a new job money is still VERY tight haha

Work has gotten pretty bad I'm getting about 6 hours a week atm and I'm unable to get another job due to distance/travel (buying a car is hard!!) so I'm attempting to work on that (buying a car) Luckily rent is still somewhat manageable for now so if I'm VERY frugal i can kinda make it work, but to help me stress a little less I've got a few things planned and the first is this very fun idea i had for a YCH which is posted and you can view here!

Speaking of porn, I've been struggling to draw it lately and while i have a few ideas i was curious which of the two my audience would be curious about me maybe attempting down the line so I'll list them here and feel free to comment which one you like or if you have your own interesting idea!
1. A City Pop inspired comic strip series +18 about my OC's Benji and his boyfriend, There'd be a few other characters too, it'd be a sitcom dramedy with some sex involved
2. An idea that's been in my head for a LONG time is a sort of "furry OC reality competition" style of project, Ie. I take a bunch of my lewd OC's and make them compete for whom the biggest slut is! This idea could even include you all to a degree (vote for who goes home each chapter? etc.) not sure what the format would be as its easy for this to balloon and be TOO big a project but I've always liked the *idea* of something like this, so let me know!

WILDSTAR is currently 4 Issues done (5 Soon!) That makes this project about a quarter of the way done! There are 20 Issues planned currently, so any readers thank you so much, this is a huge passion project and i know its not porn so way less of you are looking at it then normal so thanks again for anyone reading still, It's gonna be around for awhile!

Speaking of porn, I've been struggling to draw it lately and while i have a few ideas i was curious which of the two my audience would be curious about me maybe attempting down the line so I'll list them here and feel free to comment which one you like or if you have your own interesting idea!
1. A City Pop inspired comic strip series +18 about my OC's Benji and his boyfriend, There'd be a few other characters too, it'd be a sitcom dramedy with some sex involved
2. An idea that's been in my head for a LONG time is a sort of "furry OC reality competition" style of project, Ie. I take a bunch of my lewd OC's and make them compete for whom the biggest slut is! This idea could even include you all to a degree (vote for who goes home each chapter? etc.) not sure what the format would be as its easy for this to balloon and be TOO big a project but I've always liked the *idea* of something like this, so let me know!

So the production cycle is halted, pages will go off for like a week or two for the public? (not patreon) so if you don't want to stop reading you can go there or buy the next two issues as they are out! you can buy them!!

WILDSTAR 04 PRODUCTION CYCLE FINISH!
General | Posted 3 years agoProduction Cycle for 04 is FINISHED! Issue 05's will start in Feb of 2023
What does this mean? for patrons if you join during a production cycle that means your rewards are tied to that issue! (cameo, name in credits, etc) so that means anyone pledging now won't be in Issue 4 since it is finished!

I plan to take a short month off this January as i worry i'm getting burnt out on drawing comics every day for an entire year, I may start mid to late that month on Issue 05 but its likely it'll start in February!
If that changes I'll of course update right away! I plan to work on other drawings for that month! Some will be for the comic they just won't be pages.
That won't stop pages from being posted here either, Chapter 02 is about to Wrap here so there's all of 3 AND 4 to post before I "run out" of pages to post, haha it'll be awhile.

General | Posted 3 years agoas of next month the way i price commissions is going to change slightly! So any orders taken before next month (with given estimate) I'll honor for three months after (if you get your estimate today you have until October to buy with that same rate) otherwise you'll pay the new rate!

Alrighty! With Issue one wrapped, Issue 2 to start soon, and 3 in early production, I figured now is a great time for a Comments/Q&A type thing! If there's anything regarding the comic you want to know or comment on now is the time! I'll respond to any I get about it the best I can so thanks in advance for that!
Commissions
Still planning to update/change my rates but haven't quite figured out how I want to go about that so until I announce something any locked-in slots will get current rates or if we discussed quite a bit and you were given an estimate I will make sure to honor that- Right now there are 2 others in the queue so they're set!
If there's any particular way you all like artists to have their prices done let me know! it may be something worth exploring for me!
Other stuff!
Casual drawing is still rather difficult as again, not fixated on anything sexually atm, so that makes it tricky and why I mostly keep drawing Benji (as I enjoy drawing him) but I know fan works go a long way on here, so I'm open to some ideas as I don't know what's "in" with the furs atm or what could be a fun take on my style!
I do plan to start streaming Video games every Saturday at nonspecific times, uh Check twitter for that as I *plan* to tweet out when I start, First on that list is the JRPG hit 'Bravely Default 2' as I plan to cosplay from it quite soon! so thanks to anyone who shows up for that!
I tend to be more active with thoughts on twitter but I do want to make an effort to communicate with people here more so thanks anyone who read!
