So, most ppl prolly have at least a decent idea of WHAT they like, but it seems not as many stop to think WHY they like it.
indeed perhaps there sometimes is no good answer, but as part of my general curiosity about everything, and my hunger to know everything
know-able regardless of its usefulness i often question myself, for the purpose of knowing myself better.
part of my endless curiosity means that i actually find a very wide array of things interesting/likeable but for the purposes of this journal i'll focus on sexual likes in general.

as you may have noticed on my page i have the "Master" group listed, and i indeed adore the concept of owning pets or maybe.. -maybe- even slaves, the exact definition of a pet or slave can vary a little depending on who you ask of course.

but something my self examination has revealed to me, is that the vast majority of my sexual likes clearly involve ideas of domination and power, or indeed perhaps more than only my sexual likes, power seems to be a recurring theme with me and i'll admit to feeling at my best when i have power/control in any given situation

of course power has many forms, while i love to dominate in a sexual aspect, i also love to have the power to protect and care for those that are special to me, as well as power to rain hell on any who would dare harm them

and as for how my love of comedy and nutty nonsensical remarks fit into the above... uh...still trying to figure that one out :P

Hey, so after my most recent trip down south during my recovery from AC i got to thinking about the differences and similarities between the USA and Canada. firstly up here in Canada we always refer to them as either "The US" or "The States"
I've no idea if Americans refer to us as anything specific

so anyway i made a short little comparison after like 2-3 days of simple research
mostly just for my own amusement but i thought i'd share my finding/opinion on the subject

few easy notes first, both are "1st world" countries both are members of the G8 World Economies and are among the riches countries in the world
we share the worlds biggest undefended boarder and are each others biggest trading partners

in terms of economies the USA's economy is much larger than Canada's, in turn however Canada's economy is generally considered far more stable and balanced
overall the recent global recession had a minimal impact on Canada

we depend on each other for a lot of things, and have been allies and close trading partners for over 100 years, we each how our distinct cultures and ideals
but are close friends and will remain so for a long time i think
