Years ago, Bavmorda was a thriving country full of farming, unique culture, lively people, and beautifully performed magic. It was a place for an artist. A creator. It was a sacred and loving place, it's almost as if the country speaks to you. It chooses your presence. If chosen, you will feel at home. You will never want to leave. If not chosen, the country will come across as bland and meaningless.

Oblya is an Island, originally belonging to Bavmorda. The most of Bavmorda is about a foot underneath the water, creating a swamp throughout the entire island. The shape of the country is based on the land mass that stays at a constant foot depth. The island of Oblya was the only land mass above water. This was where the production of goods was done, along with everything else that brought wealth to the country. It was a flourishing nation, full of happiness and love for the world around them.

Now how did the Bavmordians go about losing this island? First we have to explain Ethanians. A hateful race of people. Egotistical, and war driven. The basic Ethanian is a very regal personality. Full of passion for Ethana. They view themselves as a master race, above all others. Enough so to say they believe it would take almost no effort to overthrow the world. To Create a full Ethanian world. This being said, they never acted on this. Except in one instance. The Oblya Massacre.

It was quiet. Imagine a spring day, life just returning after the cold. Everyone was out beginning their day of work. Drinking warm herbal tea. From far away along the coast, screaming could be heard. From ships, as canon fire started raining down on Taswar. Buildings were destroyed, Families ran inland as the ships docked and full armored Males stormed out of them. They ran in to the city, murdering all in the way. Full families were completely eradicated. Once all the villages in Oblya were over taken, the Army moved completely inland, until either the population escaped to Bavmorda, or they were murdered off.

The Bavmordians suffered greatly from this. They lost the only sustainable land that existed to them. They were left with thousands of square miles of Swamp land. No crop to grow, no food to get to the population. Only Emlin and Villalobos were capable of getting shipments of food. And it was incredibly hard to move things across the country. The only ways to move around are on Boardwalks. Unless a small amount was transferred per boat along the area of land that is a food deep in the water. But even this would be a hard task considering the deadly animals and insects that exist in the country. Villages started falling apart. The people of Bavmorda were left homeless and dying, and it seems as if no one stepped in to do anything about it. In fear that Ethana might cause conflict with them.

Skully acts as muscle. He was the mad creation of a crazy Voodoo Doctor in Geulimja, Bavmorda by the name of Stranger. Her whole reasoning for creating him was to replace her lost love. She attempted to duplicate him using very dark magic. Magic that is perceived to be evil. His creation was the mixture of mushrooms, herbs, magic and the bones of sacrificed subjects. Something went wrong during the creation. Which ended up creating a being, with miscolored fur, mushrooms growing off of his shoulders, long teeth, a piercing yellow glare and a menacing voice. He was a monster. His mentality was altered as well.
He immediately grew to be loyal to Stranger. She was his creator. He was there to protect her against bigger beings because of her size. Unlike other beings, he was unable to control thought. He acted on impulse. Viscious impulse to hurt, to kill, to maim. He was sickened by himself. His lack of control. Which only made him more angry at himself and the world. At times, he loses control of his protectiveness towards Stranger. It makes him violent towards her. Usually sexually. But sometimes instinctual thoughts force him to attack her.
Skully was kept hidden from the world by Stranger. She didn't want anything to happen to him. She truly cared about him and wanted him to be safe. She created a vile that held him. She is able to retract and let loose Skully in a cloud of vapor made of him. The bottle is corked for safety so he can't get lose.
His story is fairly easy. There isn't much to him. His backstory starts so much later in the timeline then everyone. I'm sure he will be elaborated on once the main comic gets created and pushed forward. He will be a unique character in the end!!

Stranger is going to be a very interesting character to explain. As she has a very dark and scary past.
This character resembles, if it were to be our world, a Siamese Cat. With a light grey and light brown fur pattern. Her eyes are a dark yellow, with green irises. She has a big patch of long blue hair, styles in a way to show her beauty at most times. Unless she has been practicing magic for an extended amount of time. Her hair becomes frail and ratted along with her eyes droopy and in general more slouchy in the face.

Her life started simple. She was born to a doctor, being her father and her mother who passed away giving birth to her. She was very intrigued by his practice of Herbal medicine, which caused her to swear her life at a young age to magic and herbal remedies. Her father helped make that come true by helping her learn his art. They lacked the mother/wife figure in their lives. Because of this, they only really have each other. Stranger always thought it was her fault that her mother wasn't in their lives. But her father was always the one that reassured her that her mothers death was not her fault. And that even though her mother wasn't their, he wouldn't trade her being alive over Stranger. This made them grow a huge bond for each other. Her Childhood was innocent. Filled with knowledge and intellectual people that truly understood her ever expanding mind. She was lucky. And she knew it. She was capable of so much more then she limited herself to. That can be scary to some, because it calls for the ability to control their mind, their urges, and their wants. But this was no problem for such a smart, young female.
So now that we know that her childhood was innocent and well kept, we grow to wonder how as an adult, her viscous and sociopathic tendencies came to be. This came later in life. Fast forward about 10 years and we have a 16 year old Stranger, having spent the last 10 years learning beside her father. She was ready to become an adult. She was ready to be excepted by a high court to practice magic among those who have mastered the art. She was ready to be taught by the best. And that she did. She went off to school, leaving her father behind in what was then Droule, Bavmorda. Nothing in her wanted to leave, but she knew she had to. There was no way she could pass up an opportunity to study with those who were just below godly. Her father grew lonely as she was gone for quite some time. Once left to these schools, you don't come back for around 6 years. With zero contact with the outside world. The proper amount of time for a prime specimen to complete the rigorous schooling. This was done to protect against contamination during the immense physical change to the body that occurs from practice. Also to protect the controlled mental change being done by the high priests. Any words used to change the mind of a student voids the student.
In these schools, training beyond what you would believe happens. Magic takes a toll on the body. And when performing a feet of huge proportion, the body can't handle the power without first having been slowly exposed to the amount of power taken. To do this, the students are taught small to big. They are put through numerous procedures done by the high court. Which include voodoo being performed, iron body, water torture to destroy sanity only to be rebuilt, and they are exposed to the energy needed to use magic.
After completion of her schooling, Stranger was adamant on returning to her father in Droule. She had zero contact with him throughout the 6 years she was gone. She could only imagine what he thought. Or how he changed. But it didn't matter to her. This was her father! Well, thats not what happened. In fact, something absolutely terrible happened. Upon her arrival to her fathers house, she found a new family. A couple and their two kids. They informed her of his death and told her where he was buried. After visiting his grave and letting out all of her emotion over everything, she packed up and left to go live with a friend she met while at school. Lux was her name. Lux was obsessed with Stranger. In a very unhealthy way. The whole time Stranger having no idea about this. She loved everything about her loving and caring personality. She wanted her to be all hers. But the separation at the end of schooling stopped that. Stranger with nowhere to go ends up at her doorstep in Treovania, Asmary. She was bawling. Lux took her in and helped her through her loss.
The two resided in Treovania for a very long time. Stranger took up a job as an herbal doctor in the town. She became well known for her ability to heal people. Her compassion for those in her town was amazing. She loved all of the people that came through. Until she met this one male. This male came in with a very serious illness that had a 50% death rate in the first year of diagnoses. Stranger dedicated hours to help heal this male, which eventually paid off. His illness went away and she was able to breath relief. The two ended up falling for each other. Their story was one of sadness. The journey helped them become close. And in a way this male helped her become at peace with her fathers death. They eventually get married and live together in Treovania. He kept his occupation of writing, and she her occupation of Herbal medicine. All was happy for about 2 years. After those two years, everything goes downhill.
His illness returns. And Stranger, left heartbroken, dropped her practice completely to spend all of her time trying to help save him again. She tries for weeks, never leaving his side. Sadly, her attempt failed. He passed away and again, Stranger was alone. She was devistated. She locked herself in her home and didn't leave for around 4 months. No one bothered her. They only asked questions. Residence tried to see if she was okay, but there was no answer. Eventually people stopped trying. Going in to the 4th month, a dark night, rainy. Stranger recieves an unexpected visitor. A crash from her window. Loud footsteps aproaching and looking in all rooms. Once moonlight hit the subjects face, they were staring face to face with Stranger. Thats when she realizes who it is. Lux. Who gave her reason. To kill Stranger. For leaving to marry that "Filth Mongrel." And it was at that moment Stranger snapped. her ability to control urges she had was gone. She blacks out, and ends the ordeal the second Lux goes to strike her. Stranger now with a dead body on her hands begins to come back from her stage of black out.
She was screwed. She was going to be hung. They were going to kill her. She had no choice but to leave. So she ran. She ran to Bavmorda. The scummiest part of the Swampy country. Geulimja, Bavmorda. She hid there for years. Where she created Skully, in an attempt to recreate her old husband.







I plan on going in to more depth with a few things talked about in this summary. It's a very choppy summary. But I do ask that if you have any questions, leave them below. I figure an intro is in order. I mean, I'm about to be uploading a very large amount of content as me and my fiance start production of a comic.

SYKOVUDU - A play on words (Psycho Voodoo) which has to do with the theme surrounding one of the main characters in our media. Her name is Stranger. Stranger is a Siamese resembling, anthropomorphic cat. She is your average crazy, psycho fucking Voodoo Witch Bitch that lives in the swamp villages. She can be viewed in the Character BIO section in our gallery. You can also find sketches of her under the Sketches Folder within the gallery.



Basically, we are in the very beginning steps of creating a lifes work. My fiance and I are recently to be married along with our childs birth. We are in complete love. Love found because of a passion for gory, mind crippling, sadistic and taboo art and imagery. What we plan on doing over the next year, is posting traditional and digital sketches of information pertaining to the characters world. We will be designing the surroundings, the countries, the villages, and the characters within this world. This will all be posted in a very organized fashion so that your learning of the world through reference created in our gallery is smooth and easy. Journals will also be used to put in to perspective the concept and summary of the story, the characters, the world, the villages, the countries, just about anything you can imagine.

Realistically, I don't imagine having very many people that will follow this in the beginning. We have a lot of things we have to create and organize before a lot of this will make sense. But what I hope is to create an understanding of the world, the concept, the characters, and the story. We will create a comic to start, to test out abilities. We will post full digital pieces, and will be sure to have vivid explanation of what is being viewed within the post.

I really want to post frequently, enough so that there is a decent amount to look at every day. Through journals, sketches, and random art. I REALLY want you to reach out and ask us about ANYTHING that you can. If you are interested, please open up. We want you to be involved. As involved as you can honestly. If you have any ideas, or input, please share it!
