Posted 2 years agoI haven't uploaded here in awhile and there's reasons for that, but I think in the near term I probably won't be uploading to FA, there's just a lot of art that I would have to upload and I really don't want to spam people nor have the time to post.
I think one day when I can get the free time I will upload all of the pieces that I have gotten this year

Man, the past year has had so many ups and downs, a lot of regrets and sadness but so many positives as well.
I can only hope the next year is more positive than negative. One thing is for sure, I'm looking forward to spending this birthday with good friends and family.

We finally did it, we got out of 2020 and we're onto 2021! Here's hoping that this year will be infinitely better than last year was. I have hope that things will get better and I'm going to do my best to remain optimistic.

Update + Future Raffle

Figured I'd give an update for how things are going for me as well as touch on an upcoming raffle.

Obviously with the whole pandemic going on I've been working from home since March and I'm glad that I work for State Government, because I'm at least guaranteed a job throughout all of this craziness.
Still it is pretty sad to see all of these people out of work and struggling to get by. I feel incredibly fortunate and lucky to be in this position, and I really enjoy that I'm able to help people who have been affected by the pandemic with the job that I currently do.
Otherwise, I am proud to say that I finished up graduate school in April and graduated with a Master's in Public Relations in July. I'm so happy to finally be done and plan on looking for a better job where I can put that degree to use; hopefully with the Feds in a public affairs kind of position but we shall see.
I'm also looking for a house, and I do want to stay in the DC area, but we shall see. I'm open to leaving if the right opportunity comes along!
With that in mind, I'm just enjoying life and I've been getting back into dancing again, I'm more active and I feel great. Still single, but I'm in no rush to change that.

So in regards to this raffle, basically the short and skinny of it is it will be a raffle for a picture with me and the lucky winner and the winner will pick the theme of the piece. I'll give more information about this later on.

Guess who got a new job!!!
Posted 8 years agoThat's right guys, I got a new job! I'm no longer going to be working as a high school teacher come the 31st of January. That's when I start my new job working for the Maryland Department of Health and Human Services, managing public assistance cases and helping those understand Maryland's healthcare exchange.
Sure the pay will be less, but its worth it. With this job, I can see the potential to grow (no pun intended) in a professional sense and potentially use that experience to move onto something else in the healthcare field. I won't lie, I'm going to miss teaching and boy do I have some crazy stories I need to share with you guys. But at the very least, this new job is going to be great for me and here's hoping I end up doing well with it.
Sure the pay will be less, but its worth it. With this job, I can see the potential to grow (no pun intended) in a professional sense and potentially use that experience to move onto something else in the healthcare field. I won't lie, I'm going to miss teaching and boy do I have some crazy stories I need to share with you guys. 2017: A Year in Review
Posted 8 years agoI'll keep this short and sweet, since I don't want to drone on. 2017 has been an amazing year for me, both as a member of this fandom and from a social aspect.
I'll be blunt, I'm an introvert and still a shy person who's self conscious and worries way too much what others think about me, even so, I started to shed that mindset this year the more I was able to interact and meet everyone.
Going to conventions and suiting certainly helped that, but so did hosting my own furry events and hanging out of others houses for some video games or other fun (No not that kind of fun...).
Even so, many of you have stuck with me and continue to talk with me and I'm so appreciative of that. You guys are great and I can't thank you enough for that.
But yeah, this year has been great and I'm glad to have met all of those who came into my life this year. Thank you for a wonderful 2017 and I wish you a wondrous 2018.

Posted 8 years agoWell here it is! The 1,000 watcher special; an art raffle. I've always wanted to use this idea, so I figured, why not put it to good use in a raffle.
DESCRIPTION
The overall idea with this piece is that there will be two macros and two mega macros. The mega macros will be controlling the macros with strings, like puppets. Ideally, I'd like to see this piece have one large panel, several smaller panels on the side doing closeups. I have ideas on what I'd like the close-ups to be and am open to other ideas if the winners have any.
