I was at Jury summons for several hours today, and got into a book while I was there. This book had been given to me for free on campus the second to last week of fall quarter, and I expected it would suck (Based on prior experiences with free books). Anyways, The Hope We Seek was a surprisingly good and entertaining novel that I deeply enjoyed.

Well, finals are all done, and I'm going to get back to work on my commissions this evening. I will be cranking them out as quickly as possible before the winter quarter begins in January. If anybody has questions about their commission, it's progress, or anything else, please send me a note or leave a comment in this journal. The first commission I will be working on is 's.

Suffice to say, I've been a bit scarce recently. My apologies for that.
This week is my last week of Fall quarter in college, then I will have a few weeks off from school. My last final test is on Friday, and then I hope to get started up on commissions again.

On the topic of commissions, I deeply apologize to all of those who are currently on my waiting list and have been waiting for months for their commissions, and I wish to thank you for your patience. I cannot make any promises on the turnaround time for your commissions, although I do promise that they WILL be completed as soon as I can find the time to work on them.

My schedule has been very busy this quarter, and I have had little time to relax, concentrate, and hammer out commissions. Please be aware, however, that school will be resuming sometime in the second week of january, and I will resume being very busy.

Still on the topic of commissions, I am making a change to my commission info. I will no longer have a waiting list of any kind once I complete those currently on my list. I will only have a single slot, and you will have to be quick to get it when it becomes available. Either that, or I will use some kind of RNG to make decisions fair, if there are a ton of people clamering for one spot.

One more thing, I will be attending the PS meeting this weekend. Will anybody else be there? I'd love to have people to look for and hang out with. PS= Prancing Skiltaire

Thankfully this isn't like, a financial issue or anything. I just cannot get myself to concentrate on anything lately.

Ill come home from classes and get out my textbooks and assignments and whatnot, then just kinda stare and do nothing for hours on end. I am unmotivated to work on anything, be it homework, commissions (which are still very much on hold), or even gaming. It's getting me depressed and I don't know how to fix this. My grades are going to start falling soon if I can't resume getting work done and being focused enough to put time into my schoolwork.

I'm asking for advice. Anybody have suggestions on how I can get motivated to do things? I've never encountered roadblocks like this before and I have simply know clue what to do.

Or at least going insane...

School is killing me. I swear I'm getting ulcers. x.x

I was rude to all of my watchers earlier with the journal I posted. If you did not see it, then don't worry. For those of you offended, I did not intend to come off as being hurtful or condescending or as trying to guilt trip you.

After applying for over thirty jobs at as many companies this summer, getting two in-person interviews in total, and not hearing back from any of them, I am at a pretty low point right now. I know that I am not the only one fighting unemployment and trying to find a job, but as this is the first summer I have actually needed to get a job, it has been incredibly stressful for me and I am not coping very well.

Things just have been rough on my end. Constantly fighting against anxiety and depression while trying to catch up on my commissions and keeping everybody happy is just really difficult. Due to my previous experience working with 3D CAD programs both in High School and in college, my father recommended (more like voluntold me) to design virtual models that the marching band could use to build their props based on. This involved me having to, by hand, construct a full scale football field in Autodesk Inventor, as well as complex props such as runway lights, tailfins, wings, and engines with my incredibly limited knowledge of the programs (the band's field show is aiviation themed).

Coupling this with my aforementioned other responsibilities, this whole summer has been really, really tough on me. I know that most of you don't even know much about me or what I do day to day, I can understand why you may not feel any sympathy for me based on my short rants like the one from earlier.

I guess that with all the immense amount of work I have been doing lately has given me a sense of entitlement, as if the work alone means I should deserve more attention. As I look back over my previous journals, I am seeing that I've been rather dismal and depressing in a fair amount of them, showing discontent for how little attention I've been getting.

I'm really not sure what else I can say here, so if there are any questions or comments you may have for me, please leave them in the comments.
