New year + Commissions
Posted 11 years agoHope everyone had a lovely new year! Mine was alright, spent time with friends and I got a new betta fish! He doesn't have a name yet but he's a Twin Tail Half moon. Dunno his color pattern (I'm not good at figuring it out) but I think he might be a pied?
How was your all's new year? I don't set any new year goals/resolutions, but if you guys do, what are they?

I'm still offering commissions! I could still use the money to help me out. I am looking to close commissions by the end of the money hopefully.
Here's the current options and prices, and if there's something not listed, feel free to ask me! I may still be offering the commission type.
Traditional busts
I’m going to do traditional busts for $35.
I can ink them for an extra $5
Color is an extra $20 in copics ( I have limited copic colors and cannot guarantee that I have the colors for your character! I do not have grey-scale copics.)
Extra characters are extra $20.
Monster-Creator Busts
I make your character into a snarly beast with some abstract twists put into it! These are sketched and have the option of being inked.
Sketch- $45
Inks- +30
On card stock: no extra charge, I have white and vanilla-cream color. These are limited quantity (but there's quite a lot of it!)
I have other paper types as well, just ask! Any other paper type is +$10.
I can ship but the cost of shipping is added into the cost of the commission.
Digital Sketch Pages
lines- $40
Flat color- +$20
Shading- +$20
Extra Character:
-With bust- +$10
-With Action pose- +$25

*Hey guys! Due to some interesting factors that have popped up, the trip to Florida has been cancelled indefinitely. It's come to our attention that with the current factors at work right now a trip at this size and caliber just isn't good for us (or our wallets).
With that said, I'm still going to take commissions but I'm taking ten slots for now before I decide if I should close commissions for a while to work on an art book or just some head world things in general. The money is going to go to helping me pay some bills and give me some extra wiggle room with money since I've recently got a car.
With that said I'd also like to open up one special slot: A reference sheet. It's been a long time since I've done one as a commission. This won't be cheap it's going to cost around $100 simply because of the amount of detail that gets put into reference sheets but depending on your character and what you want on the sheet the price could fluctuate up or down. If you just want a stand alone (body only with flat colors) it'll be about $35-$50 depending on the complexity of your character.

Hey guys! I am planning on a trip with three other friends and my best friend Vaelyis ! We plan on going down to Orlando to see Universal Studios.
So what do I need? While I get paid a paycheck regularly, I'd like to try to raise some money on the side for the trip so that saving is easier (and so that I can help my buddee Vaelyis out as well!). Any money I make between now and then (probably November first) will go towards this trip!
What is the desired monetary goal? Around $500 minimum. Between my two of my three unnamed friends we will be paying the brunt of the trip and if I can raise $500 in commissions that means I can help them with the money load as well, and have extra cash for other things.
So what am I offering?
I'm offering digital commissions, but only Busts. Why? Busts have a quicker turn around than full body pieces. If you absolutely want a full body please ask but I won't be doing anything higher than flat color for full body pieces.

Created a new commission sheet that is more updated and better than the old one.
I'm taking a leaf out of Bethany Berg's book with commissions, hope she doesn't mind too much. I thought the idea was neat and it works well for my lifestyle too.
I'm opening commissions as a "wait list". This means that there will be a waiting list that you can request being added to. Being added to the wait list means that you don't have a "secure" commission with me in the sense that you don't pay me until I start on it and inform you that I am working on the piece. You can withdraw at any time until I finish the sketch for your approval (in case of sketch commissions you'll get a messy sketch that gets approved and then the final product is lineart!).
This keeps me from taking on more than one commission at once but allows anyone who wants a commission to be able to see that they are next in line, or how far off they are, without worrying about how long it takes me to complete the commission above them or if I need to take a break from commissions for a period of time.
Please read the image, it contains very important details about how my commissions works, what you mean as a client and I the artist as well as the price ranges for different pieces offered. If you don't see something up there that you might like (such as my traditional work/abstract pieces/doodle pages, etc) feel free to send me a note and ask me about them! I'm more than happy to consider these. Keep in mind that traditional work is often more expensive because I have to buy supplies for those things.

38 Gallon Aquarium for sale
Posted 11 years agoGetting a better housing system for Vincent. I've bought the new enclosure (a steralite tub! muuuch better for heat and humidity than the tank) and the hydro and thermo meters that are better than wall stickies. Gonna check with a fellow snake keeper about what would be better: heat pad or strip.
With this in mind, if anyone needs a 38 gallon tank (or wants it) hit me up. I'm probably going to sell it for about $100 or if multiple people want it I'll sell it for best offer.
I'll also be selling/giving away the lamp and two light bulbs (probably about $15/$20.
If the heat strip is something I need to get instead, I'll also sell the heat pad with it. (though I assume only herp people will want the heat pad!)
It'll be about a month~month and a half till I can fully be ready to ship the tank to the person who wants it. I"ll do a deep clean of the tank and it'll also come with the clips and the top mesh. I have to get my car first and then I can ship the tank.

Trying to get things done tonight. I keep forgetting weekends are ample time for arting instead of sleeping... Working on trades/commissions and a collab
