Unleashed and Moving Forward
General | Posted 3 years agoWow... ten months, huh? Long time indeed. I guess for anyone who could still be interested in Unleashed I should tell you what's going on.
For the time being the story has been cancelled. I lost my files in conjunction to the story about eight months back thanks to a computer crash and even though I could simply copy and paste my previous submissions back to get my story from that point, but after some more things involving life I had to put it off as time to write simply wasn't there anymore.
Flash forward 6 months.
I thought that by the time I came back around to having enough time to continue writing the story I would have the muse to go along with it, but I didn't. I looked and read the story again and I... couldn't figure it out for the life of me where to go. Was it something to do with the fact that I didn't take enough notes? Maybe it was because of something I was forgetting that was wiped? At this point I can't be sure, so I just put it off again until now. However now it is different, as it seems that my muse has been captured once again by something. That being a game called Lost Light.
Essentially it is a mobile clone of Escape from Tarkov (Assuming that from gameplay I have watched as I have not played it myself), and it is really fun, but it did give me an idea about how people would be able to live and function in a world where they have to risk life and limb on general occasion to get loot and find exfil points to get out safely and then sell the spoils they were able to find. Nothing concrete as of yet, but I can feel the urge to write returning to me once again. Of course, doing this can give me some more liberty to set up posts a bit looser and not have to be uber strict. This will most likely be something that will be a test for me to see if it can whet my appetite for more writing. I think this will be a short series before ending (provided I don't get fully hooked and go haywire with the ideas and story).
I hope you understand,
S F
