Well, luckily the suit has nothing to do with Anthrocon, but still. This could get ugly. Equine Angels Rescue is apparently being accused of extortion and neglect, sneaking onto horse owners' property and taking photos claiming that the owners are starving their animals. When they threaten to expose them to the media, the charity takes the horses into their care, but return them in apparently worse condition than before.

Done with the Semester!!
Posted 12 years agoYup, finally finished with this semester- it's been really busy and stressful for me lately, and I am incredibly relieved to have it done. I think my photo portfolio is looking good.. now I just have to get it out there and try to get some exposure (pun not intended :P ) I am half-hoping to get an internship or assisting gig this summer, though it might be sort of late right now for that. In any case, it feels great to be done! I've got jus=t one more semester, in the fall, and I graduate this December. Hard to believe!

I love Graham so much. He was / is the lead guitarist for Blur, and wrote the melodies of quite a few of their songs- Coffee & TV is one of the best songs of the last couple decades, if you ask me. Posted 12 years agoWelp, I'm really really sorry to have gotten everyone's hopes up, but as it turns out, I will not be going to Furnal Equinox this year. There's a class that I cannot afford to miss, and having lost my cellphone yesterday, there's no reliable way I can stay in contact with people. I've never had any major issues with FA, and I don't really understand why everybody seems to be setting up accounts on Weasyl. I don't like the UI, and it seems to be to be another InkBunny. Remember when there was a mass exodus over there?
Then everyone realized that despite all the drama and shortcomings of FA, it's still the best thing going, if only because of the sheer volume of users. For all these reasons, I do not see anything taking the place of FA any time soon.
Tl:dr, I've never had serious problems with FA, I don't get what all the fuss over Weasyl is about, I'm sick of hearing about it, and I'm staying right here.

Posted 13 years agoMy computer's hard drive has been insanely slow lately.. I think it's on the verge of giving up the ghost. Which means I haven't been able to use Photoshop and edit photos, meaning that I've been really slow to upload anything here. More MFF pics to come as soon as I get this thing fixed, or at least under control enough to edit shit.
New Convention Photo Philosophy
Posted 13 years agoOkay, so I'm sure a lot of you are watching me at least in part because of all the con photos I post here. Well, in an effort not to flood you guys and FA with submissions, and because I really want to show only my best photography, I'll be posting a lot fewer images than I have in the past. Also, it was taking way too long to upload all that stuff, and I'm spending more time editing images more precisely than I used to, so.... Yeah.
If you know or think I took a photo of you at any given con and want to see it if it's not posted here, let me know and I can send you the shot. Also, at some point soon I will be going through my gallery and cleaning things out. I have way too much shit I don't care to display here anymore.
