Movie meet for Zootopia! We'll go to the 7 pm flat screening, but meet at the box office at 5 pm to make sure we get tickets, then to the food court for noms. If there's a poster or display for Zootopia we'll hang around there. We'll keep an eye out for new folks, wear a badge or something furry. Be prompt!

First annual 4th of July BBQ Meet
Saturday, July 4
12:30pm - 10:00pm
Location:
captainmaggot's house & Howlett Hill Park, Camillus NY (near Syracuse) -- note her for the address
The park is fursuit friendly! We had a meet there 2 years ago. We'll eat at the house and go to the park for outside games.
Bring a dish to pass and let us know what you're bringing so we don't get doubles.
Provided will be Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Mama B's Baked potato salad (contains bacon-y goodness), possibly Dr Pepper Chicken. and bottled water.
People have already said they're bringing veggie burgers, fruit salad, macaroni salad, condiments and tableware.
-items we need-
soda (3-4 cases)
-dish to pass ideas-
Buns
chips and dip
corn on the cob/butter
watermelon
baked beans
smores (we have a firepit and may be inclined to light it)
etc
We have Frisbees and Cards Against Humanity and Munchkins. You can bring assorted outside games (soccer ball, basket ball, etc.) and card games if you would like.
Please bring folding/camp chairs if you have them.
Could also use a cooler or two.

Posted 12 years ago petercat"The improv team I belong to will be appearing for a special show on Wednesday October 2 at the FunnyBone comedy club at Destiny USA!
Although it's not necessarily furry-related, it can be if you make furry suggestions! We do short-form improv games like those on "Whose Line Is it Anyway" -- quick and fun, although it can (and often does) get a bit suggestive or even raunchy. The host (who's also the instructor and team organizer) is good about explaining the games and getting the audience involved.
FunnyBone is in the new section of Destiny USA, on the third floor. It's a club that serves alcohol so unfortunately only 21 and over are allowed. (There'll be another show at our regular theatre later this month.) Doors open at 6 pm, show time is 7:30. It'll last until about 9 (no intermission). Admission is just $7 -- cheaper than a movie! -- and I have discount passes for $3 admission, PM me for info"

Mike allows ears, hats, tails, collars and other furry memorabilia (of a non sexual nature) but please dont wear your fursuit inside for dinner.
he would probably allow people to change into their suits in their bathrooms for the mini golf and suiters can ride in the van over there and back to the cars at the restaurant when we are done.
as we are a large group we may need to spilt up into teams of 5 to help move the minigolf games along as well as keeping in mind that minigolf takes longer for those in suit as they really have limited visibility and may need assistance

we need imput on a few things
- Looking for someone willing to host at their place (ill co-host with you) so i dont have to clean my house rigorously for days and add more stress on me (which we dont want to do since my life is crazy right this minute).
- Possible Dates
if we can knock those things out and then we can figure out a date and time and then people can sign up for what they want to bring and then we can have this thing!

I am sure the menu will grow as we get an approximate number of attending furs.

Memorial Day Parade March May 28th! Fursuit!
Posted 13 years agoMike's Haddock House is marching in the parade in Camillus for Memorial Day and would like furs and suiters alike to march with them and help pass out flyers. anyone that marches will get a free Mikes Haddock House T-shirt to wear for the parade and keep. we will assign handlers to any suiters, just let us know ahead of time that you plan to suit.
