Posted 10 years agoWhere are you staying?

Friday night, 8:30ish
How long are you going?
Will leave at some point on Monday, no rush.
Who will you be rooming with?
k9unit
twiztidwolf and
cobaltsupersport
What is the best way to find you?
Don't see why you'd want to... but just find one of them or probably just spot me roaming..
Will you be suiting?
Maybe, still get hot quick!
Can I talk to you?
Yep.
Can I touch you?
OMG WHY?? ...yes, hugs are fine.
Can I buy you drinks/food?
This never happens. Why is this a question?(agreed, Sodders.)
Will you be going to parties?
Only if invited...and will leave shortly after entering.
Can I come with you for food/fun/etc?
I'm always with a group.. So ask first and shall see if we'll have room.
Where will you be eating?
We kinda don't decide that until we leave.
Can I take your picture?
No cameras!!!! Gah!!!!!!!!! Only if I know you well enough. =P

MFM Quick Report!
Posted 11 years agoArrived Friday, left Monday. <end report>
Anyway! Had a good time despite there not being much to do, hanging out is always good though. Roomed with
k9unit. Got to hang out with
eaglebeagle,
lennymutt,
greypaws,
slash_sabercat and
sodders . And finally got to meet
soydira, whom I've known from SL a while, and her husband.
Mostly uneventful aside from the weird as heck wasp that we helped hunt down and was finally destroyed by a mini-quad copter(Thanks whoever was piloting!)
Lessee... Squeezed EB between Slash and Sodders in the back of my car during multiple food trips, K9 had to drive cause he's scared of my driving. Some possible runaway children occupied the lobby computer 90% of the time playing some terrible game my nephews also play..never saw a parent..they were there for hours at a time... Hotel is not daycare!
Overall.. Good friends, so good con. They need to stick to their schedule better..and the parade should have at least been a loop around the lobby both to give people another chance to get pictures and give other suiters a chance to join in if they were late.
Okay, that's pretty much all I can think of for now! Hope to see everyone there again next year and/or at MFF. Slim chance I'll do FWA again.

Last minute FWA!
Posted 11 years agoYep.. Went there.. had fun..
Made up my mind Friday that I'd attend.. left 2am(central) Saturday.. I hate driving in the dark... but! Drive wasn't bad. Didn't get sleepy, hardly any turns, helped a blind man pee(showed him to an open stall).. until actually getting to the hotel.. The detour signs got me! Didn't noticed the tiny entrance to the hotel parking garage and went following the detour signs. Managed to park in two different garages before finally finding the right place. So.. Arrived at detour sign 9:55am(eastern), arrived at right place 10:40ish.
Went to room.. left room.. met friend.. registered.. carried around tube of inconvenience, ate lunch with a couple of friends and tube of inconvenience was inconvenient. Back to hotel, hung out, shopped in dealer's den, hung out, hung out.
Soo.. Met new friend(known in SL, first time RL), caught up a bit with a friend I hadn't seen since FWA '08 by the name of Tyr.(I forget how to do the name linky thing)
Yay, con!
Only bad thing was drive back. I was nice enough to slow down to let a car in my lane...and was repaid by them kicking up some old tire treads and busting my driver side headlight and bending the front of my hood a bit, oh wells.. still in good mood!
Overall.. Had fun! Hmm.. There was more but just not great at remembering stuff to tell. Do plan to attend next year but for more than the one night. =P

Sympathetic
You have a knack for knowing what's going on in the hearts and minds of those around you, without their having to tell you explicitly. People tend to turn to you with their problems because they know you care, and that you will likely offer good advice and a helping hand.
You do not feel that people with sad stories are just looking for attention, or have brought their problems upon themselves.
Aesthetic
You appreciate art, beauty, and design; you know that they are not superficial but absolutely crucial to living the good life. You have good taste, and you're proud of it. Those with a high score on the "aesthetic" trait are often employed in literary or artistic professions, enjoy domestic activities — doing things around the house — and are enthusiastic about the arts, reading, and travel.
You don't think it's pretentious to be moved by art and beauty. You're not one of those who believe it doesn't matter what something looks like as long as it does its job.
Reserved
You are somewhat shy, or at least unwilling to spend all your time socializing. With you it's true that "still waters run deep," which is why many of your acquaintances never get to know you well.
You are not always ready to talk at the drop of a hat. Whether you're in the office or at a party, you're not likely to be found gabbing away in the middle of a group of people.
Solitary
You are a private person, not very comfortable in a big group, and view excessive socializing as a waste of time.
You not prefer hanging out with others to spending time alone; you do not tend to feel at home in a crowded room, club, stadium, or auditorium.
Self-Contained
You like to stick to your own business and leave the power struggles to others; you know who you are and what you believe in, but you don't see any reason to impose your values on everyone else.
You generally don't get involved in organizing or motivating people, and you don't feel the need to always be seen as a big public decision-maker.
Upbeat
You enjoy being around others and others enjoy being around you. You have a "live and let live" attitude; because you know that no one's perfect, you are forgiving and happy to give the benefit of the doubt.
You don't feel the need to be controversial or express contrary opinions all the time. You see no reason to go around rubbing people the wrong way.
Empathetic
You are in touch with your own feelings, which helps put you in touch with the feelings of others.
You don't buy the logic that your happiness comes ahead of everyone else's because unless you're happy you're incapable of making anyone else happy.
Prudent
You look before you leap, think before you act, consider what you're about to say before you open your mouth to speak; that's why you rarely have to eat your words.
You usually don't get excited easily or blurt out the first thing that comes to mind without considering the consequences.
Introspective
You like your own company; you're a very interesting person. Tracking your own mental processes, knowing what you're thinking and why you do what you do, is important to you. Often, what's going on in your mind is more compelling than what's going on outside. For the most part, those with a high score on the "introspective" trait enjoy reading, taking long walks, learning new things, and other solitary activities.
You are not someone who is constantly looking to be among a group of friends; you never feel bored when you are by yourself.
Discreet
You tend to hold onto your thoughts until you have something important to say, and even then you're not comfortable imposing your ideas on others unless you know they're truly interested.
You don't enjoy talking for the sake of talking, and you have no desire to be the center of attention.
