Heya guys, been awhile since Ive made JUST a journal. Most of my journals
are me sharing a video or something cool I did or found.

So heres a like Update journal I guess.

Im doing okay, Got a new job working Monday - Friday steady hours in a warehouse.
Which is great and way better then my retail job I had.

As for art, Ive kinda been lacking. I have this lame art block
where everything I draw .I feel like it isnt good enough or worth it. An I get
distracted by something else leaving the whole thing.
I unno Im just in a weird funk @m@

In other news Ive been meeting and hanging out with other furrs in my area which as
been fun. Haven't really gotten to know anyone yet.

--Comic con was this weekend. Normally I "get into" Comic Con.
But this year they had Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) chips
in each badge. And scanner pylons at every door/walkway....SOooooo I didn't "get into" comic con
this year.
--BUT hey I had a blast playing PokemonGo around San Diego. Every pokestop was lured it was
insane. I got some rare pokemons, an rare ones to my area.

--The real fun
was at a place called NerdHQ (crap name I know) But it was awesome!
They gave us a RFID wristband (notice a pattern here?)
and let us in. They had a whole slush of games.

--In there I got hands on with BATTLEFIELD1, TITTANFALL2, and DEUS EX MANKIND DIVIDED
All excellent games I cant wait to get my hands on at home with them.

--And Kellogg KRAVE cereal was there with a cereal bar.
Just handing out bowls and boxes of the stuff like it was endless.
There was also huberts lemonade, and zico coconut water samples being poured out.
An around three bars making drinks and selling beers. It was a real groovy time.

To my new apartment!
ha you probably thought I was leaving or something. Trust me man Im never gonna stop this. Mostly because I cant.
But anywho I get to move into a new place friday an Im seeing star wars that day. Im done with collage an now I can focus on finding a new job and fixing myself because fuck going to collage really messed me up physically. I have gained some weight....so I guess to 2016 may it be a year of renewal.

Has been my schedule for some time now. I'm just relived I only got a month left in the semester before summer. Also a lil birdy also brought something up to my attention that Ive been thinking about. COMMISSIONS, If I did one would you like a spot? I mean I'm just curious at this point an I'm not announcing anything. Just pondering the idea.

I just deleted my 3 year old skyrim save on accident
Thankfuly I kept a small back up but its still a HUGE step backwards
I like to keep my saves neat so I often delete ones I dont need any more. and I foolishly deleted my most recent ones......I think I need a moment

I'll get right to it. I am in need of a new computer again. My current one has some sorta cancer no one can figure out or fix(story bellow). My limit this time around is 1,000. I really need help finding a laptop or desktop that will runn adobe programs, and autodesk programs like maya and motion builder. Im just afraid of going to my local tech store (Frys) and buying the wrong machine.
I kinda need like a check list of yes, and no's



For the curious I'll explain here why Im abandoning
my pc. Don't really gotta read this part.
Okay so this sucks. My pc randomly crashes. screen goes black, sound cuts. but the pc itself still remains on the fans still blowing and lights remaining on. Only way to get it to turn back on is to unplug and plug it back in. Ive had this problem for many months and taken it to a repair shop twice. Scanned the damn thing and each time no viruses no major malfunctions, all components work as they should. but each time they say(guess) its the motherboard so we've switched the mother board out two times now and the same story. Ive spent a dumb amount of my savings into trying to fix this pc with NO results so Im ready to move on which sucks because this is a great rig. works fine and smoothly with no lag like nothings wrong but it just crashes on its own.
And I need a working computer for my school work. Its already happened where I sink hours into something and it slips my mind to save and poof it shuts off and lost all that work. Im in a state of mind where Im sorta panicked knowing my pc could crash at any possible second with no warning. ( I wont be throwing it away, I just need something that works for school. I may attempt to fix this one in the future but for now I need something that works)

*has to make a jazz poster for a local event for my media art class
*starts sketching 4 concepts with silhouettes and guys playing jazz interments, You know very classic jazz looking art
*then draws a jazzy gorilla playing the bongos with his big ape feet out facing the viewer...because you know.....feets~ ...and I was out of ideas and I needed one more concept...and I like feets
*Doesn't expect anyone to like that one
*class and professor LOVE it and just toss my other sketches out the window
*...sooo now Im drawing foot related art for my school project, that has a chance of being printed for a local event.....kayyy

okay, my question this time around is. What program do you use to draw?

I currently use Gimp (because I'm not cunning enough to figure out how to get adobe programs)...but for some reason that program goes wacky when I try to use my tablet. It works perfectly fine but when I try to say resize my brush from 2 to a 5 it takes it to the extreme scrubbing out of control and just keeps increasing at lightning speed. same with scroll bars. It scrolls to the top and wont let me scroll down. It will let me scroll down for a brief moment then snap back to the top. Another good example of the weirdness is say I want to use the grass brush so I hover over the brush select and it scrubs threw the brush library at lightning speed.
Its not my tablet because that works ok outside of the Gimp program. Ive fidgeted and tinkered with the preferences in gimp but it still acts wacky

..are there any other free drawing/photo editing programs out there?

SO Skyrim is 3 years old today. seeing posts about it on my favorite image sharing site I decide to play some Skyrim today
and Im STILL FINDING new things...love this game man, so much
probably gonna be playing this for the next month now....dunno if I wana restart a new play threw...or...hm
