Debating doing Knoebels...
Posted 11 years ago... you know, the adorable lil amusment park in Elysburg PA? Itd be the weekend after AC tho, July 12 or 13th. Its likely the last weekend I'll have free until the girl Im replacing at work comes back from maternity leave in October, so I want to do SOMEthing with people! Would anyone be interested?
Nimbus already said he should be able to come... But he wont do any rides with me, and I feel bad leavin him alone, so Id want 1 or 2 more people to tag along! Otherwise it'll wind up being a movie or game night, local.

Ive gotta get her replaced, soon. Debating taking comissions, since I'll be stuck at home anyway most of the time... But dunno how to go about it. Thinking PWYW style, anything under $10 gets a sketchy thing, anything $10 or more would get colored. $20 or more would get a cleaner thing, with actually decent lining instead of my sketchy crap. (Thats hard to do, Im sorry. Xp I still have issues with working my tablet and the pen tools!) OR a decent background. I can DO them, if Im given an idea to run with!

Posted 12 years agoHeh... So, Ive had my name four years now. I was browsing my old dA journals and dated it. And Ive been open about the furrydom for 2 years... JUST about the time I joined here, so... Im amused. Memory lane, and all that jazz. So much has changed...
Personally, not that much I guess. Im still lost, scared, and entirely too immature/sheltered for my age... But my arts evolved, the focus OF my doodles have changed, and my taste in partners and my romantic ideals have mutated to be almost unrecognizable...
Wonder whats in store for me over the next 5 years.
Whos along for the ride? What'll I become? Where will I go?

Thanksgiving Rambling
Posted 12 years agoWhat are you thankful for? I rarely ever gave it much serious thought. I mean, thanksgiving is usually just a time to stuff yourself silly and avoid getting in the middle of family drama. Maybe watch Pocahontas or something.
But this year... misfortunes some friends, coworkers, and customers have been going thru? Ive thought about it. Not much, but... I've thought about it. And Im gonna dump here, cause I cant sleep.
I encourage you to do the same, either your own journal, or comments. ~^^~
I'm thankful my family's still around, and healthy. Opas had two TIAs, and my Dad had a stroke at 46... But theyre still kicking. Im thankful have three sets of Grandparents, and only two grandfathers are struggling with health, only one of them majorly- and hes one who wasnt involved in my life, and was minorly abusive to my biomum and gramma, so meh. Karmas a bitch, dickhole.
Im thankful that even tho I have no direction or ambition in life, Im apparently still a good enough person that my family and friends keep me around. Support me, even.
Im thankful that even tho I've lost so many people... I always seem to find more to accept me into their midst, some even better/more interesting than those who've left me or Ive left behind.

Posted 12 years agoMy grandma beat, and my cousins hubbies mama lost to breast cancer... Ive lost aunts and my great gramma to lung cancer... Theres also suicide prevention (I struggle occasionally with tendencies), aspergers/mental health awareness (my bio mum and a lot of friends have some sort of disorder), and a buttload of other causes out there.
Had an idea... Not a good idea, but an idea. You know how ribbons are being used to promote awareness of things? And they have that handy lil loop in the middle?
Does anyone do awareness ribbon badges?
Simple, with bust or face of the chara inside the appropriate ribbon... "<char name> Supports <condition> Awareness!" Have at least half of the profit of the badges get donated to a charity/foundation associated with the ribbons cause. (Example: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11835024/ )
Seriously. Does anybody do it? Should I? I know the whole ribbon thing is getting kinda overdone... But its recognizable at least.

... I just spent almost half an hour twattering about blowjobs, and the whole "spit or swallow" thing... I maaay need a life. XD May as well open a whole new can o'worms here and open the floor to my FA stalkers tho, while Im at it.
The biggest thing I always heard was ppl spat cause they didnt like the taste, and my reactions always been "so you hold it in your mouth /longer/?" Ive had some really gross things in my mouth, and I dont think Id want ANY of them in my sheets on a car seat or anything, much less once theyve had a chance to mingle with slobber. Who keeps a spittoon in the bedroom? I guess I'll know WHY if I ever see one now...1 But what else would you do with it? Tissues dont hold moisture well enough for the saliva, and who keeps a washcloth or papertowels near sexytiem-places? Plus, Ivent YET seen someone finish all at once. You risk gettin a faceful if you REALLY cant stand the taste... Just say no if you cant hack it the first few times. That CANT be attractive to scramble away afap once hes done! Mood kill, and then youre not likely to even get anything for your trouble!
Meh. Its just always been so much more convenient to just let it go down. I mean, if you do it right you barely taste anything, and if you do anyway its certainly no worse than if you held ON to it! Yeah, its on your breath sometimes, but... I rarely have that problem even when a toothbrushing or mint is nowhere near accessible after a romp. Of course, Ive only a few times had a taste that was actually and grossly unpleasant... I generally dont mind or even enjoy my work, so I may be biased.
Even if it does make me ill on occasion.

Watching the Jeepers Creepers duology this morning. The first one still hits somethin in me thats just great. The secodn not so much, but meh. I dont have too much else decent in my library. I just love that in the first one... the bad guy wins. Outright PWNS the film. Never gave the heroes a fighting chance. It just doesnt happen too often, it was a really big deal to me! Still kinda is.

Posted 13 years agoMy rum is gone and I cant go into the gramparents wine closet, so I need to get myself some more liquor or drinking stuffs for those days/nights when its just necessary. (Yes, there have been days when I started drinking around noon. So 'days' is a viable word there.)
The past few times my stockup has been my spiced rum, cause thats just what I seem to like best. But I feel like I need to change it up a bit and try new stuff! Sooooo I want recommendations. What should I get on my next trip out to the Wine and Spirits shoppe? Im already gonna pick up some apline spice desert wine for the Xmas parties Im hearing will be happening... Cause its just damned delicious. But what should I get for /me/?
Ive had SoCo before, not gonna bother gettin it again. I know I like it in moderate amounts, nothing new.
No jaeger, thats a party thing. A bit too strange tasting for me, since I tend to mix with simple soda AND drink straight from my personal bottles once they get low enough that I won't be sharing.
Id say no tequila, but rly... It DOES knock me on my ass, and the only stuff I know I dont like is the cheap Jose Cuervo. So I guess a different brand then, or something would be ok...
I doubt I'll follow thru on any suggestions til after FF, I want all the money I can spare to go and actually get some loot this con.
But I want them regardless! Talk to meeee!

Reposting, Furry Fluxx, and Other Stuff
Posted 13 years agoI know its in my TOS for comissions, but for people who arent my normal watchers or havent been watching that long... (or, like myself, dont plan on ever really comissioning anyone so dont care about TOS and stuff...)
As far as reposting goes? If I tag you in an upload, you're more than welcome to re-upload it yourself as you had some part in it. Just so ya know. ^^;
FLUXX! Im definitely gonna be making a Furry version. People seemed excited for it at FAU, and I even got some input for Goal, Keeper, Creeper ideas from other attendees! And Im still looking for more. If y'all have any input, suggestions, you want to do art for some of the cards, ANYthing like that lemme know! Here or in my "Fluxx" journal. I may actually contact Looney Labs and get legit permission... Otherwise we'll just have to make out own game altogether.

FA:U related: Im still running on a contented high off the socialization and awesomeness. Im easily pleased and easily amused, but this was awesome. I have SO many pictures from the Closing ceremonies and the Fursuit Games events that I caught, Im gonna make a few collages and then just choose which ones to post. This could take awhile, but you will see more.
Nerd related: I definitely have to look into Cards Against Humanity and Red Dragon Inn, as they were both awesome and fun games to learn. Also Werewolf... And Poo. ^^; I liked that shitstorm... sooo cute. Ive basically dropped my D&D groups altogether for various reasons, but I still love getting together on occasion to play less attention heavy games. I want to get the other versions of Fluxx, too... SO many out there, all so amazing! Raaw!
Life related: School classes started today. And Im still working at part to almost full time as a cashier. So... this should be interesting. @@; Especially since again my math course has a HEAVY importance placed on the internet and Im still running dialup. FML... *cries a little* My instructor for the other course at least seems pretty awesome.
Art related: I only did one doodle out at FAU and I sketched out a REALLY quick simple ref sheet for Rose to do the ArtistTradingCard panel since I couldnt print mine out... Both will be posted. I also did an ATC for TygerStKuan Im hoping she can scan and link me to so I can repost it. ^^; Cause even tho its not rly accurate, it was FUN and its adorable...
But Im still not drawing up to what I think I should be, so the frustration's putting me in a bit of artists block. Dont expect to see too much from me for a bit.

FLUXX! Im definitely gonna be making a Furry version. People seemed excited for it at FAU, and I even got some input for Goal, Keeper, Creeper ideas from other attendees! And Im still looking for more. If y'all have any input, suggestions, you want to do art for some of the cards, ANYthing like that lemme know! Here or in my "Fluxx" journal. I may actually contact Looney Labs and get legit permission... Otherwise we'll just have to make out own game altogether.

FA:U related: Im still running on a contented high off the socialization and awesomeness. Im easily pleased and easily amused, but this was awesome. I have SO many pictures from the Closing ceremonies and the Fursuit Games events that I caught, Im gonna make a few collages and then just choose which ones to post. This could take awhile, but you will see more.
Nerd related: I definitely have to look into Cards Against Humanity and Red Dragon Inn, as they were both awesome and fun games to learn. Also Werewolf... And Poo. ^^; I liked that shitstorm... sooo cute. Ive basically dropped my D&D groups altogether for various reasons, but I still love getting together on occasion to play less attention heavy games. I want to get the other versions of Fluxx, too... SO many out there, all so amazing! Raaw!
Life related: School classes started today. And Im still working at part to almost full time as a cashier. So... this should be interesting. @@; Especially since again my math course has a HEAVY importance placed on the internet and Im still running dialup. FML... *cries a little* My instructor for the other course at least seems pretty awesome.
