Me and  novashi are heading out to western-ish Pennsylvainia for out 1 year anniversary of dating, because our 1 year of enagement would be around thanksgiving and too difficult to plan a vacation around.

Anyyyyywayyyy. The closest "big town" would be wellsboro which is where we will be going to get our foods from the grocery store and possibly out to eat.

We are staying in an adorable cabin that has everything we could need such as a two burning stove/sink/mini fridge combo thing that I have never seen before but it works great. As well as a bed room and living area, cable tv, wifi, heater, private porch.

We went for a weekend get away a few months ago and stayed in a smaller cabin on this same property and fell in love with the area and decided to go back for a longer period for our anniversary.

Also decided we ultimately want to live in the area when possible. For various reasons such as......nicer people, better environment aka air quality, better vibe overall just feels like much more peaceful place then the metropolitan new york area.

I could go on and on about the philosophical, sociological, spiritual and other reasons for wanting to move there, but that's a post that would require much more time than I am willing to spend right now.

Anyway, vacation with my dergon is gonna be awesome and I'm super excited!

But more than likely I do.(but seriously i'm not suiting so like pictures with others is totally cool because pictures with suiters is awesome and fun to flood Facebook with and confuse non furry friends, so like, message/email etc them to me if you can.

Life is scary, life is crazy, life is unpredictable.

I"m coming up on 5 years at my current job, which is the first milestone the company recognizes. I've considered leaving the company for a job that I THINK would make me feel more fulfilled in my field, but the downside would be losing my consistent schedule I currently have, less free time to spend with loved ones. I am looking into possible leads to pursue within my own company, so we shall see how that does.

The truth is though, I'm scared, I'm scared of change, I'm scared of losing everything. I'm afraid to take a risk. Life is terrifying, especially when there are decisions to be made that will have a ripple effect that stretch beyond just my own person.

But there is a source of comfort for me. It's love. The love of the wonderful

I know I've posted about us before, but I really wish I could express better how much she means to me. I wish people around me would understand I'm not being stupid or reckless or irrational.

For the first time in a long time, I am sure of something. I am sure I love this woman. I love her with every fiber of my being. And I know she loves me equally in ways I may never understand but I do feel it.

When I lay in bed, and I cuddle with her, when I hold her in my arms...............................

It's doesn't feel like it's another person there, it feels like she is an extension of me, of my soul, of my very being. I do not feel separate from her.

When our eyes meet, I see her soul staring back at me through those eyes. It pierces my chest, goes into my heart, and goes deeper than any words can describe, to a place that is not a physical place.

I am not me without her. She is me I am her. This must be what they call soul mates.

This is the best way I can describe my love for her.

I actually have cool thought out gifts for my parents for once! Especially impressive since I did it last minute.

I will be visiting my aunt, uncle, grandmother, and cousins with my parents the day of and at night I will be going down to visit and her family and the awesomest beardy aka my adopted son. Oh and all of the fish that I love to feed because I'm a chef and apparently my love of feeding extends to animals as well.

Life has been nuts, in good and bad ways. We won't get into the bad, because the bad things are in the past and I'm leaving them there.

So on to good things. I met this cute lil dergon back in june, and happenstance would have it that we only talked for a little, then stopped, then talked a little more, then stopped, then a mutual friend who we didn't know was a mutual friend reintroduced us and we talked for a few weeks, then stuff happened and we both went different ways.

Then she randomly messages me on Skype saying she needed a friend. So we talked.....and talked...till like......way later than I should be up on a night when I had work the next morning. And then we talked some more and then we finally met in person and hung out. And then we hung out some more. And then I finally asked her out. And she said yes(obviously).

Then I bought a ring and lasted less than 24 hours till I purposed.

And yes I've been asked "Isn't this kinda early?" "You've haven't known her that long"

I've dated people before for longer periods of times (2 years or more), and I could have easily purposed, but I never really felt an inclination to do so. I never felt that desire to say I was theirs and they were mine for all eternity.

I heard when I was younger "when you know, you know". It's true after all. It didn't take long for things to click in my heart and in my head. The two actually worked in conjunction for once and agreed!

What more? My mother loves her. Her mother loves me.
Want even MORE? Since the beginning of it all, even during courtship. My work ethic at work has improved markedly. The quality of my work has improved markedly.
The way I treat others around me has improved. The way I see things has improved. Everything seems a little brighter. It's easier to find the silver linings.

So did i move quickly? To people on the outside absolutely it looks like it. But to me? In my heart? In my soul?

She seems familiar, like I've known her before, a long time ago. So to me, it doesn't feel like a short time. Meeting her felt like coming home.

This person over here  zombietox needs to fill some slots for plushies. Her work is awesome, she is super nice and I wish I could afford to take a slot but I'm pretty broke as it is. So go check her out or pass along the info/signal boost etc. It would be very much appreciated.

My friend is finally back from disappearing for a few months. Her art is beautiful and she is super nice and everyone should go check her out.

Also some other interesting stuff is happening in life but I will post about it when I am less sleep deprived.

So lets see. FAU was back in August. It was my first furry convention EVER! So, what did I think of it?....



IT. WAS. AWESOME!

I met so many cool people and got to hang out with people I already knew and got to know them better.

I didn't attend any panels I was too busy handling a suiter friend of mine, or eating food. Or running around for various other reasons.

Next time I will learn to sleep more so the experience is a little more enjoyable. I mean it was still a ton of freakin fun, I just could have used more sleep.

I met too many people to remember, some of which I was slightly intoxicated when I met. I apologize if i said anything rude or incoherent to you.

All in all it was better than I ever could have hoped. The fandom is truly as open and accepting as I had thought. I didn't feel weird around these people. I felt like I could completely and utterly be myself with no fear of being judged or made fun of.

A HUGE shout out to  sillydogthegreat for introducing me to the local fur meet here and DESIGNING t-sol and helping me discover more about the fandom because becoming part of this whole thing has really been the best thing to happen to me in a really long time.

I am really looking forward to FAU next year for various reasons, the biggest of which we will get to now.

I've been saving for a suit for a little while now and wasn't planning on commissioning anyone until winter got here. But......I was in florida on vacation and I happened to stumble upon a post by  therealurubabe about how they were open for head commissions. I then started begging  sillydogthegreat to do a semi-realistic head reference, fully colored and everything. She did an amazing job! I then shot an email with the reference over to  therealurubabe she accepted it.

I GOT IN OHHHH YAAAAA. So I'm getting a semi realistic head from her! I'm slated for her winter que.

I still need to commission someone for a digigrade full suit as well as hands and feet. I'm seriously considering  sokitwopaw for this.

So, what does all this mean? T-sol will be at FAU next year as a suit! Im dying inside of excitement on a daily basis. If I have a crap day I just remind myself that by next summer I will have a suit and I get a dumb smile on my face.



TL;DR FAU was awesome and I've commissioned someone for a semi realistic head. I still need a digi bodysuit so if you have anyone you'd recommend who will be opening soonish as so I could commission them and probably have it by August 2015 note me.

I am overly excited and am having serious issues containing myself in public settings sometimes.

Moving on, these "treat bags"?

I don't want to reveal too much, but I will say this. They will be customized per each of my roomies preferences. It will contain a variety of home made self stable foods(aka no refrigeration required). Such as beef jerky, DEER JERKY, dehydrated fruit slices, bread of some sort, and cookies. All made with these two paws...ermmm hands.

I am really really excited about this (is it obvious how excitable I am already?) because I get to show off my cooking skills and be creative.

I found people yayyyyyyyy! I will be there all three days. Sooo, not that anybody views my page or anything, but ya.

I am still currently looking for people to share a hotel room with for FAU!

I can provide transportation to the hotel(and home when the con is over) from your house PROVIDED you don't live a ridiculous distance away(I'm talking 100+ miles). I won't charge you for gas or anything like that either.
I drive a 4 door toyota echo. So, it's a little small but I could fit 2 adults and their luggage etc comfortably(the trunk is decent sized).
