Posted 14 years agoI'm back from Abu Dhabi!
It was really amazing, a total eyeopener. I really loved it out there! Its very beautiful, and well kept, we spent a lot of time going to various culture sites, i rode a camel, when i put my pictures of facebook ill put a couple up here yes?
The only thing i didn't like was the way there seemed to be a class system, the filipinos over there make up hte lower working class, a lot of cleaning jobs etc, the Arabs don't treat them very well, and the poverty system seems to keep them stuck there, so they can't escape which is really sad. However most of them seemed happy enough, i made sure to give plenty of tips to the petrol attendants and cleaners and pool attendants when they laid out the towels etc, along with a big smile!
Id you ever get the chance i'd say go its really brilliant experiencing their culture, i was a bit scared of the burkas and tubans at first but now im fine with it which is really nice. Also as the friend i was staying with, her parents are going to stay there for good, so hopefully i'll go back with her and visit a lot! :D
I've found a new joy of Henna, I'm planning on getting my own stuff as well which should be a lot of fun!
Oh also i passed my driving theory, which means half od my licence is dont, i should be doing my practical in the next month or so! Haha driving here is so much mroe of a deal than in the states you have to be 17 to learn and the tester are comeplete losers and they have to fail like 1 in 10 randomly, AND insurance is a shit laod mine is £1500 atm which will go up when i pass ahha XD
So yeah thats a ramble about me, what about you guys what are you all up to for easter? :)
Holiday, animated icon commis. and requests
Posted 14 years agoNext wednesday I am heading off for Abu Dhabi!! WOO! I've only ever been to the european sort fo countries, spain, portugal, malta, manorca, cyprus etc So i'm hoping this will be an interesting cultural experience and give me a bit more of an insight. However its not exactly the 'real' middle east, but i think its as close as i want to get for now.
The hotel has little boats which you ride round on to get to the pools and stuff, HOW COOL IS THAT!?!???

Animated icons, i've totally had this idea for AGES now and i wanted to try it out, a couple of tutorials later and my icon is what im left with. I was thinking these for $10 reasonable? varying on character + background, ima add it to my commission ID methinks :)
Also after my holiday i am indeed planning on advertising on FA to get some comissions so i can get some funs up for university, where i hope i can continue to draw if time allows. This means i need to do some comission examples, please post characters here, complicated/detailed characters would be nice, as well as simple ones. And I might just draw yours, i need to to do some headshots etc, and maybe even a painting/icon, but i can't guarentee anything to anyone
So to finish off, how are you all? :D

How do you fix photoshop!?

Ok basically i've done a watercolour male lynx furry, and i wanna shopp it and put it up- but it wont start, like the blue boz comes up then it just stops D:
How do i fix it? Or is it just a case of uninstall/reinstall? Its a legal version not downloaded so there shouldn't be any dodgy problems right?
Once i finished all my exams in 2 weeks time i wanna do some trades, any takers? I've gotten over my art blockage over xmas, and i wanna get back into the swing :)
