I've been rather quiet this year so far, but I'd love to know how this year has treated you so far--artistically, spiritually, just life stuff!

I myself have been dabbling in a bunch of things, as well as attempting to prep for gallery internships. Currently throwing together some updated commission examples as I type. (A financial bind is finally getting me to do it, ahaha--how does $80 for a character portrait in the style of my most recent submission [plus a mailed print and ink sketch] sound?)

So how goes it?

Welp! I still feel positively twelve.

Now that the schooling term is done, I'd like to apologize once again. Back in August I recall assuring that more commission work would progress and that the queue would be cleared for more. The month was... less than stellar. I hate to say that it's been detrimental to me ever since, although it has been a lingering issue. Fast forward to winter and I have a chance to remedy all of that. I've rarely been happy with the way my digital work is turning out, which is making me a big anxious mess regarding art for others. It's been a gradual process of being reacquainted with a medium that, suddenly, abruptly, feels as if I'm using it for the first time, the past year and a half or so disowned. And I am sorry! So, so, so sorry.

But here I sit with nothing much else to do than to try to work past it. Let's get things done.

Also, I finally cracked open a PS3. If anyone has Persona 4 Arena, let's exchange e-hugs and you can kick the Kanji out of me.

I've been sitting here for a week trying to think of proper ways to thank the influx of people who took note of me from seyorrol's feature.

Just sitting. Gawking. Drooling a bit. I didn't even have to bribe him this time.

I gave him a hug and we played Pokemon Stadium with phantominus and mestago instead of drawing like proper kids.

Anyhoo, hello!! I'm Tae. This was me a few months ago. My work is all over the place at the moment, so I hope you're not too sorely disappointed. Most artistic downtime is devoted to acedemic journaling or whatnot, with weekends reserved for commissions. School is in full swing and I'm employed for once, and updates may be sporadic, but there it is. Let's be friends?!

Speaking of furriers, I really must apologise for the untimeliness regarding commissions. I've had bouts of art doubt and self-consciousness on top of moving all over the place and summer classes. But they're getting done for sure! I'm finally home, and once rhythm is found, there's no stopping me. I can't wait to show you all. Thank you so much for your patience. c:

Hey, all! To those who ordered paintings, I mentioned turnaround time being a week at most, and while I'll still do my best to heed to this, I didn't take my part-time gig into account! I'm helping an interior designer/silver collector and curator spruce up her flat to prep it for the market. It can be strenuous work, but it pays very well, plus she's an extremely cool person to know. We literally met by chance--my class had been cancelled one day, and she so happened to notice that I attended the school nearby.

In sum, I'm working half the day for a week, and painting for the other half when I haven't passed out. Cheers! Thanks a lot, guys.

All of you are wonderful and I can't thank you enough--I'm rather embarrassed by the current state of my gallery! Inconsistency abounds, though I hope there's some amount of improvement evident throughout. Before this turns into a ramble, I'd like to say thanks again. Thank you thank you thank you.
