Ways of working:

- Send me a note with your idea when commission slots have been opened
- We will discuss your idea to make sure we are both comfortable with the topics involved and that I am the right person for the story you want created
- Upon agreeing, I will ask you for more information about the characters you want represented and the story's focus
- When work starts, I will keep you regularly updated. Multiple edits will be included free of charge to make sure the story flows.
- Upon completion, the fee will be paid through Paypal
- NB: I have a full time job and this and family, of course, takes priority. I prioritize quality of the work over speed and thus cannot guarantee exact turn around times.

Hey all!

I thought I'd make a post around this for those interested in Dawn of Corruption - A growth based text rpg! Check out  sombreves page if you haven't seen it - it's about to get beefy!

First off, one of the things that hooked me as a player, way before I became a contributor, was Sombreve's idea for the game to react to your size - and I don't mean just using a new adjective! If you are macro and need to enter a building? Just tear off the roof, it's not like the door is going to work!

Out of the games I have played, this was a pretty unique thing for me - it somehow connected the dots from a theater of the mind perspective that just felt so impactful!

So, what if I could implement a system that allows Sombreve and I to write scenes in the game that react to your size? If it could do that, why not race? Heck, why not even the number of limbs you have and enable multi!?

Well. That's what it does :3!

I am excessively excited to hear feedback and thoughts about what the players think and am very curious to see if people can figure out which parts of the text were fully written or use the new flavour engine!

Either way, please look forward to an immersive experience where the game will react to you - ranging from your macro size to how much corruption you are shoving into your veins. Plus you can do this as one of the built in races or - if you are on the higher tiers of the patreon, a fully customized race that supports multi and automatic inclusion into the portions of the game that use the new engine :)

It's a work in progress and a lot of the game needs to be hooked into the engine, but please enjoy what we have so far and look forward to what's to come!

If you're reading this you may or may not have seen my journal entry talking about this. TLDR, I will be listing 'wildcard character slots' in journal posts. These will be actor roles within the stories I am working on which you can inject your character into, completely free of charge! The caveat is that I will still write that actor's actions according to what I originally intended for the story.

This of course has the obvious negative where you may not want to put your character in a situation you know you'll dislike so this is how it will work:

Step-by-step:

1 - Each slot will have a very generic outline of what will happen to them. This detail is limited so as to not spoil the story to readers
2 - Reply on my journal post, or send a note if you wish to have your OC appear in the wildcard slot. In your response, include a number of tags from the list below under the headings "I'd Love these" and "I'd hate these" tags (Example at the bottom of this post). This allows me to choose whether your character will fit for the slot and that you will still enjoy what may happen.
3 - Please indicate how much leeway on those tags you're willing to give with a number between 1(super rigid) to 10 (super flexible). For example, if you absolutely do not want to be dominated, then indicate on your submission that you feel you're a 1 in flexibility. If you do not indicate these, I will not take responsibility for moments that don't work!
4 - Some characters have the potential of lasting a scene, to the entire saga. It all depends on how malleable you will be with the above tags.
5 - I will contact you if your character is a fit for a wildcard slot and confirm that you are absolutely happy with the role. I am happy to privately discuss what happens in further detail with you, but I'd ask that you don't spoil the story for yourself if you are a follower of the tale!
6 - Once the deal is made, send me a description/image of your character and an outline of their behaviours (Under 500 words please)
7 - You may apply for multiple story wildcards. ie if you get a slot in Atlas, you can still apply for another in the Orthani series.
8 - Please apply for a single role for now while I sort out logistics to cater for wildcard wildcards!

Terms and Conditions:

- I have the right to choose who is in the wildcard slots. This is not a reflection of what I think about your character or you (You are all awesome furs), it is just about comfort for both yourself and myself in writing that character into the role I have in mind.
- I have the right to artistic freedom. Since the character will act out a role in my story, I cannot guarantee that it will do everything you expect. Please do not sign up for a wildcard slot if you are not happy with this.
- I will contact you for clarity should I require it, this is about opening a channel for everyone to have a chance at being in a story without payment that gives us both an opportunity to have fun together. I am not going to go dead turkey on you!
- I will release the story when it is done. The initial handshake in the beginning is crucial to make sure I write your character in in a way you will enjoy it. Please do not flame/hate/complain if we get past that stage and it is not what you expect to the nth degree.
- I will not write about rape, gore, scat, watersports, excessive violence, children, torture of any form for pleasure.

So, this may be a terrible idea - but I thought I'd post about it to see what the general reaction would be:

I enjoy writing quite a bit, but what I love the most about it is bringing some form of joy to the reader taking part in it. Now commissions are a great way to try and bring that spark of joy to another person, but that of course takes time for the author and money for the person who wants the commission. So, this got me thinking of a way to involve others in a story without the need for either of that.

Drum roll?

Wildcard character slots.

Taking the Atlas series as an example, if some of the characters filling the world were wildcarded, i.e you could book that character's role in the world as your own OC, would you be interested?

This means the character would still follow the arc as intended and would function as the story originally would have progressed, but that character and everything that happens to that character is actually your sona. We may even work something out between us where the originally idea may bend to your preferences in multiple scenes (For example: A growth off)

It would be something like:

Wildcard slot - Pitfighter 1: Likely to go toe to toe against Atlas. Outcome uncertain, may result in being dominated.

You could book to be the above character, free of charge, with the caveat that I have writer's freedom to do what I wanted with my story. I guess it sort of becomes a bit of a gamble of where your character might end up and how much customization you're willing to give up for a free appearance that may or may not last several chapters.

Anyway, this is a spitball and people may literally throw bananas at me if they don't like it (Banana protein shakes would be preferred) but I'm interested to hear your thoughts!
