In other news, I missed FC and apparently people are giving some dude named Bandit shit for... reasons? Is he filming for Dr. Phil?

So I've been playing while sick and I've been dicking around fighting other people.
And I just lost to someone using a Bills and a bunch of other uh... Over Powered People? Here I am using people Majins and a Kid Uub and this person whips out The God of Destruction and his foppish mentor. The person I fought wasn't that good at the game (which is bizarre considering it's mostly QTE stuff) so I'm not really sure how to react to the loss.
Am I supposed to be mad at the person covering up their skills with strong Cards?
I don't know.
Eh.
I have been rewatching Korra Season 2. I like the art and the designs but the writing is pissing me off...
I feel like instead of seeing Mako shrug and go "I DUNNO WHAT TA DO I'M JUST A PRETTY FACE KORRA!" we should see more of Bolin. I have an issue with telling when you should be showing things. Especially things such as the development of a relationship to the point of Bolin outright fearing the other person. In the span of 2 episodes where I really only see them interact on screen for about three or four times, I am annoyed when Bolin just wants to have this person out of his life. Yes, you have him tell Korra WHY. But why can I not SEE why?

This may sound silly.
But the two black dudes in GTA V really abuse the n word.
Do the writers think they're writing for The Boondocks?
Really, if it's some way to flesh the character out or it's a wacky quirk, it doesn't work. They come off as incredibly shallow. Come on.
Hardly anyone seriously talks like that in Downtown LA unless you piss them off enough.

So first thing we did as a team was go to Gametrailers to see them discuss Kingdom Hearts. Was a pretty fun panel. Then I continued to help photographer find cosplayers. Then I went up to the press room and went to the dealer's hall with a coworker. He eventually went back to the press room because his feet were hurting. I was all by myself and spent a lot of the time left to explore the dealer's hall debating getting a Future Trunks figure I mentioned in my day one journal. The lowest price was an even 60 because that booth didn't add tax, which I guess is their idea of a sale. I noticed while buying a volume of Psyren that I was down to 50, and decided to buy shirts and another manga. Had LittleKuriboh sign a Blue Eyes White Dragon, Celtic Guardian, and Nightmare Penguin. He laughed at the Penguin, and while he was signing Kirbopher showed up and I talked to him about TOME. He was surprised that someone liked it. That's pretty weird, the series is pretty good and I told him what I like about it. LK and Kirbopher were both really nice, as was LK's wife. I wanted to take a photo with all 3 but LK's wife was helping a customer get a shirt. My last purchase of AX was The Great Emperor Penguin YuGiOh card. Because PENGUINS. At around 5 the con was slowing down and at 6 it was pretty much over, sadly. I really love AX, I hate when it's over. Sighing and taking a picture of the con one last time, I headed home.

The ticket still isn't payable yet, which is pretty annoying.
During the con I got texts from my folks telling me how the parents of the kid who we suspect broke into my house can't get their story straight, both saying the kid was staying with the other parent (they're divorced). Eventually they said they don't know where he is right now specifically, but they know he's at AX. The mom couldn't believe her son would break into my house and the dad was more worried I was going to sue him, or my folks were. We had a bit of a breakthrough when my dad found finger prints on the lock in the back. At the back gate of my house, next to my garage, is a little lock you need to open by pressing certain numbered buttons in order. My step-dad quickly noticed some new fingerprints are on it and he asked a friend of his to look up the owner of the fingerprints. As of the time I post this journal, 9:22 pm, my step-dad's friend has yet to call him. Hopefully the owner of the fingerprints is not one of my little sister's friends or something. I didn't see the guy at AX but I just decided to not bother looking for him unless I have some kind of actual proof other than the description, even if the description fits him completely.

For those who went to AX, what did you think of the staff? Dealer's Hall? Panels? Anime they played? Did you like it or think it wasn't as good as last year or the year before? Or the year before? Or the year before? Or the year before? Or the year befo- You get the idea.

So I was trying to pay my ticket online and having issues with it when I noticed I was late for the planned meeting time. Rushing out I had to deal with a bus that ran late and a problem with the tap machine accepting my money. So when I got to the station where I got my ticket, I asked another officer about the ticket, and he said the same thing the second officer said last night, that he'd tear it up if he could. But the different thing this officer said was that I was issued this ticket by someone whose job it is to hand out tickets. So more than likely wasting time in court is a bad idea. Thankfully it won't show up on a record, unless I don't pay during the time it takes to pay. Which I have 21 days to do. Hopefully the person who gave me this ticket files it or whatever soon so I can just pay and get it over with. But the officer I talked to today was very reassuring and understanding, so at least I don't feel as stressed as before. He said it sucks I had to encounter someone a person with the job of just giving tickets. How can you do that, seriously. If they aren't willing to be a little understanding and give warnings instead of saying to go to court or to a station to try and turn the ticket you were given into just a warning, then they're acting like bullies. Accidents happen, you know? But I understand it came across like I didn't pay and just skipped but when I talked to that 2nd officer she still didn't change her mind. That worries me. I had proof, not so much a receipt, but proof I had money on the card but I didn't tap correctly. The cop I talked to today said if I wanted to go to court, the 2nd officer and him could testify. Still not sure it's worth it.

Anyway, on my way to the Con, I got a text from my mother (she did so knowing that I'd either be at the con or on a train so texting would be easier than trying to call to hear me go "What?") saying my secret hiding spot for some of my money has been tampered with. Money was missing. Almost all of it. The only evidence is a neighbor saw a kid parked in front of my garage sitting in his car waiting. The kid was somewhat chubby, had black-ish hair and one of his car windows had duck tape on it. Recognizing all those things, I realize the person who stole my money could be the same guy from: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3899291/ . So yeah, I wasn't sure how to pay the ticket now and I was really stressed and annoyed. My parents who were at first very annoyed I got a ticket, some of that annoyance going away when I said the ticket isn't one that shows up on your record, were now sympathetic. My coworkers were also very sympathetic, asking if I wanna go home. I'm not leaving AX, I love this con. But having some holes in your room and having some of your own money stolen is depressing. I did still have fun at AX, mostly because I think my coworkers were trying to cheer me up and I thank them for doing that.

My folks wanted me to come home and when I came home the holes were gone and they said if the ticket price stays the same and doesn't spike up like crazy, they'll cover it. So yeah. Maybe my ticket situation is handled but not my money situation. I don't want to give an exact amount because I don't want to tell people about actually cash I have as opposed to just having a credit card, if that makes any sense. If it is that guy, I really don't get why he keeps stealing from me.

So day 2 was fun, took lots of pics of cosplayers and got to meet Chris Sabat and Vic Mignonananananannananananana. Vic wore gothic pants and steel toe boots. That was surprising. Had some fun at the dealer's hall when a booth sold the book I asked them to hold on to. Yay.

I got a ticket on the way home, for apparently riding all of my trains without tapping the card, which I did. The officer didn't believe me and kept bringing up how the last time it was tapped was yesterday. I tried to explain to her I may not have tapped it properly and wanted to check my balance, she said it's fine and proceeded to give me the ticket. I talked to another officer about it after checking my balance to find I did pay, I just didn't tap properly like a dumbass. Which the cop said was okay, and he'd let me off with a warning then I showed him the ticket and the woman already left so he'll try and contact her to get her to take it back because it's just a simple mistake if I had balance. I don't ride the trains often so I just tap and assume it works, like a derp.
Hopefully the cop who gave me the ticket changes her mind.
Not sure if I'd wanna waste time in court or pay the fee.
