I truly wish I didn't have to write reminders about stuff like this. Mainly cause I simply hate asking for things. Let alone asking for help. But I am genuinely scared about what's going on right now with our government. The threat of losing my food benefits is simply so damn stressful. So anything can honestly help me.

The government shutdown here in the states is directly affecting me. My SNAP benefits are effectively gone next month until things resume properly. That's roughly $300 of benefits I rely on for food and other things.

I hate to do this. Anyone who's known me for any time knows how much I hate asking for help. But this month and the following months are looking like they're going to put me in the red.

My SSI only gives me $967 a month. This month my rent was $905. Further into more madness, our property management forced us to get 100k renters insurance policies. I was fine paying $12 a month. But now I am going to be paying over $36 a month.... The weather has been hot so our power bill is going to be really high for several months.

I can't stay quiet about this. I need help.
I can't offer anything in return that's of high quality. I can or at least try to offer silly doodles or something.
