Hey all! Long time, no see!

Heaps of things have happened since last I uploaded to this site. That's not to say I'm leaving by any means, I've just been super busy!
Moving around, attending cons for work, and project planning have all been at the forefront.
NYCC has come and gone, but if you missed out on seeing my Pokemon Breeder cosplay (complete with a 1:1 scale "living" Oddish) I will also be attening Anime NYC with 'em again.
In addition to a new puppet, I will also be debuting a cosplay!
I'll be opening for smaller scale puppet commissions soon that will be completed between my main projects, and have quick turn around time so stay tuned!

I beg of you all to take the time to text, email, and call to protest the FCCs decision and protect Net Neutrality. Congress still has the final say, AND at least 17 states (last I checked) are banning together to sue the FCC!

TL;DR - My statement on Net Neutrality, and below it is a link that walks you through everything super quick to help fight against its abolition.
Net Neutrality is critically important in our day and age; without it, all kinds of artists, businesses, and average joes will be at the mercy of the grubby-handed bigwigs who only think of money. Enforcing data caps, rate limiting, and even parent controls we have no say in (and will affect artists a LOT). We will lose SO much if they go ahead and destroy it. Dragoneer on FA made a journal outlining the issues, which you can see here => https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/8508328/
HOW YOU CAN HELP!
If you're within the USA, go to https://battleforthenet.com
They make all the steps mad easy, and even provide you with a script of you don't know what to say.

Convention Aftermath and Updates!

NYCC went amazingly well! I met so many amazing people, and my works were well received. SUPER proud of my apprentice for all their efforts and dedication to presentation; they performed the character of Foxy perfectly
I have many pictures to share (some of which have already been posted on alternate sites), but major posting is going to be put on hold until I've officially moved to my new place.
List of things on the roster:
-post completed web series comission work
-get moved into new place and share pics of workshop
-complete, and post pics for a trade
-update the Leathersaur community information and post pics
-Complete personal project for cosplay
That's all for now. Hope everyone's excited for Halloween!!!

Some quick updates: The Alzheimer's walk went swimmingly!
It was a great event, and everyone was absolutely wonderful
The move is going slow, but very much underway! I can't wait to be settled and jump head-first into art.
Now for the fun part: COMIC-CON!
I'll be in NYC all four days of the convention; either performing with puppets, or leading a monstrosity of a costume around. Couldn't be prouder of my apprentice, nor the work that's been achieved for this event. Hope to see some of you there!

This weekend is the Alzheimer's walk! Can't wait to join my team and show our support!
Spending the rest of the time cleaning out and sprucing up the new work room hopefully can start moving supplies in by next weekend.
More puppet updates are on the way, as well as a costume, and a plushie!

Away this Weekend - Alzheimer's Walk & More

Just a head's up if you need to get in touch with me this weekend I'll be slow to respond; the same applies for next many weekends.
Participating in a charity walk for Alzheimer's next week (got my dates mixed up), and it's a bit of a big deal to me. I've lost family members as early as their 40s-50s to this, and a very close friend lost both their grandmother and great-grandmother within this past year to it as well.
BoJack Horseman actually did a beautiful job conveying the struggle of living with, and caring for someone with Alzheimer's.
Gonna close this on a positive note; I'm FINALLY going to have a proper work space for puppet/plushie/costume building! I'm so pumped!!!
Much work still needs to be done, but it's going to be very well worth it.

If all goes according to plan, some of the time I'll be my apprentice's handler while they're in costume; the other half (which is the iffy part) I'll be puppeteering a brand new puppet with some nifty quirks.

I really don't ever push this stuff, but man does this film project deserve love and the light of day. R-rated Dark comedy, fantasy, and horror rolled into one package with anthropomorphic animals? Yes please!
We R Animals has some of the best puppets and puppeteering I have seen in a very long while; It rivals my adoration for Dark Crystal and Henson's Labyrinth creatures.
They have until June 15th to aquire enough donations for a short film; lets help make this magic happen! Please, please share this with others, and if it's within your budget donate even just a few dollars.

A new puppet is in the works; all the foam work done, and I hope to have the fabric pieces sewn before the weekend is over.
A lot is going on! Another web series comission, a possible private comission, "might" start a personal project if there's time, AND the puppets I had mentioned some time ago will finally be underway and up for sale!
Hope you're all doing well, and keeping creative!

The work for one web series has been officially completed! It's been a crazy fun journey with new techniques learned, and I can't wait to see the final filmed product <3
Will be uploading the pieces completed for that project soon, but elsewhere as there are no animals involved.
Much has happened since my last journal; que sera sera, life goes on.
Anywhos, I have a few more puppets in the works for a second web series, and a bunch of little beasties for an upcoming art fair.
So much to do, and the year has barely begun!
