This is just an announcement that I will not longer be posting stories here on FA. ​Well, things are happening. As you have seen, I've been pretty active with writing lately. Tomorrow, I will have the next chapter of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon" Worlds finished and online.

The actual "news" part of this journal, is that I have started going to a creative writing class. With that in mind, be prepared to see some changes in my writing style. Hopefully it's an improvement to everyone.

I will also soon be working on a story Idea I've had since I was about 18, which will be entirely my own creation, which means no co-writers. It will be practice for me to then begin working on my first actual novel! ^_^

So yeah! Things are looking up. I'm feeling far more confident about my writing ability thanks to the courses I'm taking now, and I hope that means it will be all the more enjoyable for everyone to read. :)

Was just curious about others' opinions. For a while now, I have been listening to podcasts of gaming groups (particularly one done by "Major Spoiler's" - http://www.majorspoilers.com - can also be found on iTunes) and have found that I truly enjoy listening to other gaming groups. And I was wondering. Am I one of the only ones out there that do? And if others like it, what is it that you enjoy about them? I am going to be running my own games soon (two to be specific) and was considering recording them for similar purposes, and want to make them enjoyable for listeners, as well as my players.

For me, I enjoy listening because it allows me to experience the creativity of other dungeon masters, different tactics that players use, and I simply enjoy a good story. So..! Think you'll be interested in what I have to offer?

Yup, you heard right. I'm trying to lose wieght. =P Granted, I'm not a large person by any means, only 170lbs. But for my line of work, I kinda am required o keep the wieght down. lol I've been slacking on that by a large margin for over two years now, and I am finally taking steps to change that. My mate and I recently joined Lifetime Fitness, and are very happy with the place. If you can either afford or get the signup fees waved, I highly recommend it.

I now have a personal trainer who I go to twice a week, so that on top of still taking my martial arts class, I should be back into shape in now time. Maybe I should post some before and after pictures... Whatch'y'all think? According to my trainer, I could be quote "Ripped by January". lol We'll see. =P

In slightly other news I have gained my second promotion in my Anshin Kai Do, maybe me a Yellow Belt. This style of MA is a little different in it's rankings. Usually yellow belt is the first promotion. In this style, it's the second. So wootness. =P

So yeah, there you have it. lol That's the newest news I have for you. Except this: I have taken a gift art which  darkzel has given me (currently is not posted to his FA page) and I have colored it myself using color pencils. :) I'm really pleased with how well it came out, especially considering it's been about 8 years since I have really spent an effort in coloring something. Once  darkzel has uploaded his version, I shall then upload both versions to my page. Anxious to see what kind of response I get. :) Anyway, I'm outta here, gotto get "get ripped". =P Laters!

Yay! I gots ferrets! Originally I was only going to get one, but turns out the pet store offered me a deal if I got two, so we jumped on it. ^_^ And for the sake of mentioning it, they picked me, I didn't pick them. I stuck my hand in the pen at the shop and they were the only two that wouldn't leave me alone. lol So yeah, I has ferrets now, yay!! As soon as I can FA to let me upload the images properly (don't know why, I always seem to have problems uploading everything. The only reasons the images I HAVE are online is cause a friend did it for me. Oy...) I'll have pictures of them. ^_^ Their names are Chunk (he's albino) and Juda (not albino, but still lightly colored) So yeah... Yay ferrets! Woo! My first ferrets ever. ^_^

Okay, so it's been quite a while. Lotsa stuff's been going on lately. Last post I made I believe I said I was on a bowling league. Well, I nfinished out the league with the third highest average on the league! Grand total of 180 average. But! I had the most pins on the league over EVERYONE, so technically speaking, I was the best bowler on the league! Woohoo!! Too bad it was a summer league and they don't give out trophies or anything. Oh well. :P So yeah! that rocked.

Other news...  darkzel has done some AWSOME pieces of work for me in recent weeks. Including the first ever picture of one of my favorite role-playig characters of mine, Gael Troy, as well as the first ever referrence sheet of my personal fursona. ^_^ As soon as I can actually get the sibmissions to submit properly instead of "Oh, image not found", they will be posted in my gallery.

More news! I gotsa a tattoo!! Who knew I of all people would actually grow the balls to do it. =P But, I did it, and I only whimpered a few times. lol It didn't hurt nearly as bad as everyone made it out to be. Again pictures of it will be posted in the gallery as soon as I figure out how to get the stupid thing working. The tattoo itself isn't finished yet, so for the time being, it's just a really cool black one. =P I was originally scheduled to get it colored this coming thursday, but I had to cancel it so we could afford to have my mate's lasic eye surgery. Hooray for financial miscommunication. lol So yeah, for now it's staying all black until further notice.

Still more news! I've started taking a martial arts class again FINALLY. In the past, I have studied Tae Kwon Do, Kuk Sool Wan, Wing Chun Kung Fu, and my father taught me his military training. Granted, I never actually was able to stick with any of those for very long due one one reason or another, but this one I can actually stick with. So now I'm taking a class learning Anshinkai Do Karate, and Kosho Ryo Kempo in the same class. I'm really loving it. I've been going for three months now and even got my first belt promotion after only the first month of classes. If my guess is correct, I should be getting my second promotion by the end of October. We'll see what happens. So currently I am a mere Orange Belt, but I'm learning fast. :) Yellow Belt here I come. =P

Last bit of news! I'M GETTING A FERRET!!! *dances* Been wanting one for YEARS, but until recently, I'd never really been in a position to have one. So finally I'm getting one of my own. I need name ideas. Any suggestions? =P I'm thinking maybe Juda if I get a male, but my mate doesn't like the name. lol Need help with both genders. =P And the only help I'm getting from my mate is FIGO, which stands for "Finally I Got One"... lol I admit I'm tempted to use it, but I'd like to avoid it if at all possible. =P

Well, in my last post, I metioned that I was starting a bowling league on thursday and then doing a tournament today (though technically it was yesterday, being that it's 12:20am right now.) Well, I have the results for those of you who care. =P

Bowling: This was interesting... I signed myself and Joe up about two months ago for the league. About two weeks later, I get a call from someone who says he has another partner, and they need two more teamtes. As I understood it, we were good to go. We had a team and we're set. Well, Thursday comes along, it's time for the league to start... No teamates. Wonderful. Either they didn't show up because they felt no commitment to be there, or (and this is probably more likely) the tornadoes that hit all day thursday affected them somehow, wether it was them directly or their friend's and relatives or something. I hope everything was well for them and their families if that's the case. But I'm hoping moreso that they just didn't go for the sake of not going. Granted, that's rather rude, but still. I'd rather that than family or friends get hurt.

So in the end, we get placed with an older (straight, for some reason I feel the need to explain this... lol) couple who also didn't have partners lined up. And the four of us ROCKED our opponents. Joe bowled himself a 212 in the first of three games. AWSOME start. Then bowled 125 and 162. lol Brought him an average of about 166. Whereas I bowled 182, 165, and 181. Overall, our team won by 422 pins when you add up the total combined team scores. So yeah, pretty sweet. And because of the situation about being paired up, one of our teamates came up with a great team name. Half-Asked. =P Puntastic ain't it?

As for the Magic tournament, that went FAR better than I expected. I was thinking oh, chances are I might win one, MAYBE two rounds... No, I ended up going with four wins, two losses. I even made high enough in the six rounds to win a prize! Quite pleased with myself. :) Granted, I only won one booster pack, but still. =P I placed high enough to win won! Le woot. =D

So there you have it. Got bowling on thursdays now, and I'm going to try and join more magic tournaments when I find formats I like. Vintage is definately a good one. ^_^ As for upcoming events, my household and I are all going to see the new Indiana Jones movie tomorrow afternoon (techincally today) with another friend of ours. Highly looking forward to it. And then we're going to the bowling alley again on sunday to get me some new bowling shoes and to get us in some more practice. Hooray for more bowling. =D I can't get enough of it. Anyway, I still don't know when I'll be back online regarly for those I chat with on Yahoo, but regardless, I'll shut up now. Laters!

Well, it's been several days now since I've been online at all. Mainly because we've had company over all weekend. But yesterday and today because I just plain haven't felt like being online. :P Not sure when I'll be around on messengers next, but I will at least post here about how I'm doing so those who pay attention don't think I'm dead or something. lol

As for right now, I'm watching Indiana Jones and the Temple of DOOM! *gasp* Hence my boredom. =P But on the other hand, I've been working on Magic: The Gathering decks all day today. I built a kick-ass Merfolk deck.

Upcoming events, I'm FINALLY starting a bowling league again. Been over six years now since I was last on a league. Joe and went bowling on Sunday to get some practice in (with our guest) and holy crap I'm doing well. Not as well as I used to on average, but I'm catching back up to there pretty quick. I bowled four games on sunday, and got 136, 141, 232, and 160. Was awsome. Only four pins short of my highest score ever of 236. So yeah, I'm catching up to my old self rather quick. Last league I was on I had an average of 172, and I was number five on the league. Le woot. =D We'll see how I do this summer.

As well, this friday I'm enetering my first Magic tournament since my sophomore year in high school, so I'll get to test my deck out agianst some people who have a lot of experience and hopefully I learn some new tricks and such. :) It's a Vintage style tourney so I'm basically allowed to use any card ever printed, with a few exceptions. Anyone familiar with DCI knows what I'm talking about. So wish me luck on that. :) I'll let you now how the bowling and the tourney go. :) So yeah, that's all for now. Laters!

Yeah, sorry, been a while since I've done anything. Been busy with a bunch of crap coming up and more company coming over again. Oy... Well, as any of you Karters probably know, Nintendo has released their first Mario Kart Wii Tournament online. This first one takes place on Mario Circuit, and there's been a few changes to the extras on the course. Well, basically, I'm just saying that I ended up getting 1:45 on it. :D Quite proud of myself. lol Though I'm stil about 17 seconds behind the world champion, but hey. =P Still cool.

As for the "other stuff", I mentioned in my last post that I was going to start writing a new story, and I have infact begun writing. I should have something to post for it soon. As well, it seems that the previous story I posted has uploaded oddly and so it has been deleted until such a time as I can find a way to fix the error. So yeah, thar' you have it. :) Laters!

Well, as you already know, I got Mario Kart Wii the other day, and let me tell you, I rock. =P I'm not the best but a long shot, but I was kickin' some serious ass today. Had several runs today where I had a minimum 20 second lead at the end of the race. Mwahahaaa. And yes, this was on worldwide oppenents, including a japanese dude with a sky high rating. MWahahaaaa again.

In other news, we recently got a salt water fish tank. 75 gallon tank. I went with my mate Joe and picked out plants etc, and then we got some fish. Well, being that we ar both new to saltwater fish, we started with some really cheap, hardy fish. Three Yellow Finned Damsel's and a Blue Velvet Damsel. Sadly, the PH levels dropped really low all of a sudden and the yellowed finned damsel's all died, leaving the blue velvet all alone in the tank... We got the levels back up to normal and have been maintaining it, just waiting to see if it's going to continue to do okay. He's breathing pretty hard though, just gotta hope.

Let's see, what else... Oh, I gave a shot at continueing the Stone of Light series, and I tell you what... I suck. lol I started writing, chapter four, and was a good ways down the line when I realised oh crap, they weren't in the den like I thought they were, but were still in the willow tree... Wow do I need to work on my consistency. HEheh. So yeah, as a result, I haven't been able to think of anything. Oh well, I'll keep trying.

But in light of this, I'm also starting on a different story. Not going to give anything away, but it will be in a different world. Anyone who has done any fantasy role-playing with me will be quite familiar with the world. Anyway, that's all I got for now. More laters!

Woohoo!! I couldn't take it anymore and HAD to get it yesterday. Finally I have gotten off my ass and fixed the consistency issues with chapters 2 and 3. Only minor changes have been made to the story itself, but it should make at least slightly more sense now. Thanks for being patient with me, and I'm hopefully going to have another update for you all soon.

Well, finally over being sick, and I'm back to my old self again. Even got to help finish painting the living room and family room in the house yesterday. So yay for that being done as well. :)

In other news, one of my roomies picked up Rock Band for PS2. And I tell you what, it's AWSOME. If you like Guitar Hero, you're going to be floored with this one. But I hope you can sing on key, cause it checks that too. :P I'm no professional, but I was in choir for six years in school, so I'm good there. Now if I could just learn the songs on the game, I'd be set. lol So yeah! Things are better now and getting back to normal. :)

Hooray for food poisoning... Uhg... Been praying to the porcelain god since 4:30 this morning... Luckely its starting to die down. So yeah, those of you I've been seeing online lately, that's where I am. Sick, and in bed.

What sucks even more is we were going to start painting the walls in the living/family room today, and now I can't. >.< Well, at least I get out of working. lol Hope all of you are happy and healthy, and stay away from leftover chicken.
