Eh, could of been better. Taters were firm but could of been firmer. The Baby bella shrooms were an excellent addition. Tradition says the legs of the shrimp should be on during the final stages of the boil, but I like pulling them off prior to that...still, get a nostalgic feeling pulling them off before eating them.
Hah, foods getting me to talk in my journals more. Sorry bout that, I just love cooking food.

>In the wake of a tragic alligator attack at a Disney World hotel that left a 2-year-old boy dead, Disney World has begun to make changes — even to decade-old attractions.
>Louis, the trumpet-playing alligator from the 2009 film The Princess and the Frog, was supposed to be a part of the Friendship Faire castle show at Magic Kingdom, but got pulled just days before the show premiered on June 23, according to a Disney employee, who asked to remain anonymous because of job security. The alligator was supposed to play trumpet during the show.
>The Tic Toc Croc from Peter Pan, known for hunting villain Captain Hook, was also removed from the Festival of Fantasy parade at Magic Kingdom, park guests reported.
>The Jungle Cruise has also changed its scripts, stopping employees from making jokes like “but remember, folks, if you don’t watch your children, the crocodiles will,” as they narrate an adventure ride through rivers across the world, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The script, known for its puns, has been in place since 1962.

Saw Zootopia
Posted 9 years agoWas good...that is all for real. The no domestic animals angle was interesting. Strange how there was absolutely no birds.
Watched a Purrfect Movie Today.
Posted 9 years agohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiKn-vPXFCc
Noo it wasn't Zootopia. Will get to seeing it soon even though I know how it ends.
Im talking about that German cat movie.
Next to that watership bunny movie, I heard this movie had plenty of controversy over how people thought it was a kids movie. I suppose thats their fault for holding preconceived notions about how animated movies are only for kids.
Felidae is one of those once in a lifetime movies. I found out this movie was and still to this day the most expensive animated movie to come out of Germany at 10 million Marks at the time. Anyway a few minutes in, you get the feeling reminiscent of Don Bluth's Disney venture but soon, you start realizing the censors must of been sleep at the wheel.
Dont worry, I won't spoil it for you, but I will say that the movie is a murder mystery with a cast of colorful characters. I really liked Francis the lead cat, but personally, I found myself loving Bluebeard the most. Hes that rough and tumble alley cat that thinks with his gut sometime, but he isn't the traditional fat sidekick. I did have a soft spot for Felicity, but I should of kept my head in check with her. Anyway, I recommend giving Felidae a watch if you're into murder mysteries, grown up themes, and good animation...Oh yeah and talking street cats.
However I must warn that it has some really graphic scenes, and I found myself loving the chills it gave me.
Well thats another journal entry. Stay tuned for the next one where I give my two cents about monsters of the television variety.

Happy Milk Day! RIP David Bowie. Saggi Fanart
Posted 10 years agoIt is generally thought that Milk Day was created to celebrate the first time milk was delivered in glass bottles. Prior to this, conditions for milk delivery were fairly unsanitary but the new bottles enabled safe and clean storage.
However, Milk Day soon grew to be a day dedicated to all aspects of milk. Whether it is the health benefits of drinking it through to the farming industry that produces it, the day can be used to celebrate the wonders of milk.
Many schoolchildren are encouraged to take part in Milk Day so that they start the good habit of drinking milk from a young age. They can also learn about the various ways milk can be used to create different foods like cheese. Trips to a local dairy are a good place to learn new facts about the process and many farms often encourage educational visits on this day. -Daysoftheyear.com
On a sadder note, found out last night that David Bowie died peacefully in his sleep at 69 yesterday in his battle against cancer.

I was never a big fan of his, but I felt his touch, via the people inspired by him and he will be missed.
On a angrier note, https://medium.com/@j.mendoza/gamer.....5ff#.c0b58dvm6
Scum like this shouldn't happen. Using the death of a great man to push their own agenda. Im ok with a little joke with time, but things like that just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. especially when mixing words to create misinformation.
But I stop thinking about the negativity of others and celebrate the life of David Bowie.
Ok, on a lighter note, Lucky Charm received some fanart by

Looks like 2016 is getting off to a furry start.
Speaking of, heard Zootopia is getting released in other places earlier than the states, leaving over a full month of spoilers to dodge...ooh boy. Well, ill cross that bridge when we get to it.
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/18629659/ Neat, fanart from Zacharyisaacs. Anthro lucky, nsfw. Thanks bud. All the nude stuff from him and Dr Flipster, starting to wonder what clothes Lucky Charm wears as an anthro. Something India inspired surely, given her origin.
And thats all I have to talk about this week... Off topic, I use to have G4 for my tech news, apparently CES is going on now. http://www.bbc.com/news/technology-35249030
Not that huge of a tech nerd, but talk of it always got me excited for some reason. Anywho, enjoy your week, ya'll. Stay ...bigger.

Merry Post Christmas, Small Announcement, & Commissions
Posted 10 years agoHope you all have a great holiday, know I did, despite the absolutely crazy weather here in the south.
Was thinking I start doing Journals a bit more. Not too much, at least once a week, at least.
For starters, I'll start posting links to pals drawing my characters, features them in a story, or anything relevant to the lore.
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/18613816/ *Contains fat giraffe eating Christmas/ Big fat mare udder with Calorie's idea of "...bigger".
Also I received commission requests from a few people, more than I thought really. Which was more than one. Yes I've done some but I never officially stated I've open for commissions, until now.
Current Pricings
$10 - Character sketch *$4 per extra character
$15 - Character Inked *$8 per extra character
$20 - Inked with flat colors *$8 per extra character
*+$5-$10 for basic shading/minor lighting
*+$15 more defining shading & lighting *$10 per extra characters (Full render)
Customer always receives the full res pic. (Rough sketch and lines on request. After a week, they're gone)
Commission payments are made via Paypal
Note me if interested. Slots limited for the time being. I hope to get better at arting, and minor story telling as well. ^^;
Yeah thats all I can think of at the moment.
Hmm well 2016 is coming up, gonna get really furry. /co/ janitors on suicide watch...mmm intriguing.
Have a nice day, ya'll.

NEW Animal Crossing game and E3
Posted 10 years ago>New Animal Crossing game announced at E3!
>Animal Crossing Party
This should BE in the game, not its own game entirely..
Removing the mini games from AC was one of my biggest peeves. Now they're basically doing something that looks like a Mario Party Clone.
Afraid if I sighed any harder, I may purge my soul from my body.
Hehe, well it was nice seeing Star Fox again.
https://twitter.com/NintendoAmerica.....60445520515072
Totally called it on Nintendo cashing in on the furry craze happening come 2016.
But still, gyro mode in space? ...If it gets the series back on its feet, they can light a ACME rocket on a fox's back.
Kingdom Hearts III, im not an old bag yet. Wow. And a Final Fantasy VII remake...ok, more excited about FF XV but whatever. I just hope they don't remove too much for political correctness or anything.

Looked up the "lunchbox" dating back to 1991 (Allegedly) and that one ref pic, but it seemed even more like a viral attempt. The VHS distortion isn't isnt convincing me, especially when other parts look so clean.
Hope this means somethings in the works.

Sawnic Boom
Posted 11 years agoAy, the guy that likes a glass of milk is journaling. *Copy pasted from a rad dude who made a Sonic Boom journal*
I watched Sonic Boom that aired on CN. *Downloaded it from /co/ thread since Turner pulled CN, Boomerang, CNN, Turner Classic Movies, ect from DISH*
I'll admit, its LOOADS better than X and Underground so far.
The opening was Icktastic and a premonition to what you'll get from the first two episodes, animation wise. The water scene in the first ep struck me the most, it didnt even look like water when they were below. No bubbles or nothing.
Current Spongebob had better water animation/play, this was basically a plain blue gradient background while Sonic and Tails floated through space.
Anyway the first ep was kinda poor, BUT it did have a few funny moments. Amy has some...well she kinda reminded me of Lola Bunny from The Looney Toons Show that was canned not long ago. Knuckles isn't a infuriating knucklehead in this one so far, that 'full of yourself' attitude was kinda nice for him. "Knuckles jr" That still made me giggle at that new sidekick scene. The two robots in Boom, they make me miss Scratch and Grounder even more for obvious reasons.
All an all, the first episode was poor for the start of this series, but I liked it enough to watch it again. The end of it was kinda funny too, so I'll remember it fondly. Eggman was best character.
Second episode, it was a lot better than the first, but it wasn't great. Here I thought 'When were they gonna introduce Sticks to the audience?" Well they did, but it wasn't an introduction at all. She was just there in the group of characters we've known for a long while. I assume there will be an episode flashbacking to how she came along, but i'm glad there was a namedrop at least for ol Sticks. The jokes in this had a timing issue that made it fall flatter than the writers hoped or probably cared to fix, the 'Nobody likes you' joke got me to giggle. Now that I was settled in the show, I finally noticed fully how Sonic's voice hit me. It was a lot deeper than I thought it'd ever be. It does fit with his new dull snarky attitude so thats a plus. When the story escalated, Knuckles, tails, Amy and Sticks didn't really do anything spectacular other than bland jokes. I see this show is trying to go the comedy route, but it should work on its timing if they plan to do so.
Again, Eggman was wonderful here, that evil laugh snoring, i'll remember that till I'm in the grave.
So all an all, I like Sonic Boom, hope it'll pick up soon, i'll watch it either way. Besides Steven Universe and Gumbawl, its the only shows from CN i'll download to watch.
*Hopes against all odds that lusciously chubbed Thunderbolt will make an appearance*

Posted 12 years ago1. Am I leaving?
NOPE.avi
I'll be among the LAST to flee this old ship.
2. Do I have Weasyl?
Yes, had it for a while, longer than the current drama thats going on here. Also have Tumblr, pixiv, DA, Inkbunny, sofurry, more or less have stuff on them.
Fun Fact: I hate that thumbnail thing on Weasyl that makes you click on the pic to see the full pic. I wanna look at the thumbnail of the entire pic to decide if I want to see it bigger. Im probably the only person that has a problem with that... :(
3. Am I somewhat aware of whats going on here, drama wise?
Mostly, and you probably do to. Its the same crap happening.
"bla bla drama, abandon ship." *Comes crawling back*
Notable: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5423517/
Fun Fact: I've YET to see ANYONE here with a perfectly legitimate reason for leaving FA (Based on this drama), thinking its going to be any better on another site.
4. Will I judge others for sturring up a frenzy, leaving, SJW'ing?
Nope, do what ya like not even my problem.
However, you can assume i'll be having a little giggle ready for those that were so ready to leave, then come back with journals or pics asking for something, IRL or otherwise, either if its for them or for a friend (Who left FA, based on this drama) whos pride was too big to consider FA a means of some kinda assistance.
5. Will I publicly state such giggles they'll receive via reply?
Nope, but if theres multiple signal boosts that flood my journal list... I would ask if they even want such assistance from a site they were so happy to "Be rid of, for whatever 'reason' ".
No reason to be a jerk about it.
6. Will I have a nice day?
You better believe I'll try, and i'll hope everyone else does too...for reasons. In FACT-
Have nice day, whoever reads this. Hope its good, relleh gewd.
