MFF and stuffs.
General | Posted 12 years agoRawr'llo to all my peeps (^.=.^) I had a blast at MFF this year, much like last year and I want to thank everyone for making it so awesome, got to meet a bunch of interesting people. :)
Now for an art update: I got commissions to scan that I would like to upload and I have a queue of my own art waiting to be finished coloring. I am waiting for my final week of the semester to end next week to begin diving into finishing my art and maybe even some unfinished music that's been collecting dust.
For those who attended MFF this year I hope you all had a good time and see you all again next year!

I'm Back! (Sort of...)
General | Posted 12 years agoRawr to all my friends and lurkers out there! I know I've been on a long hiatus, but it does come with some progress. Inbetween my hectic work and school schedule I managed to complete some new art (most are being colored), and should expect some new material to pop up sometime this month.
I'm also attending Midwest Furfest with some friends this year, so if anyone wants to give me a rawr up there feel free (^.=.^)
I do miss being on here, and I apologize to everyone for seeming like I'm inactive when I'm just going through a really busy time in my life (x.=.x)

I'm back!
General | Posted 14 years ago...well sorta lol. I guess you can say I've been on a hiatus for a couple of years, due to some demands from college and working to pay for college. (>.=.<) But alas I decided to push that all aside and finally give my page an update and with the intentions of submitting new material soon. Thank you for everyone who is watching me that has been waiting for something new to pop up, in due time. (^.=.^) and to all my friends for their support!
A short music review I did for iTunes and Amazon
General | Posted 15 years agoThis is a review I typed for Front Line Assembly's 'Caustic Grip'
After seeing the lack of reviews for such an awesome underground album, I had to give my 2 cents.
Enjoy!
"Polar opposite of 'Tactical Neural Implant', but an instant classic."
"Bill Leeb's career in FLA has seen many evolutions in it's sound, but it was this album that concludes the 80's period of industrial/ebm and prepares it for the 1990's. Even with outdated hardware (multi-layering a Roland TB-303 for an example), this album is the precursor to Leeb's sound that fully develops throughout the 1990's.
Most of this album is indeed electronic (with the exception of the guitars on "Provision"), but it doesn't hold back from sonically blowing away your mind. Every track from front and back carries on the album coherently with no track that sounds alike, from the hard-driven "Resist", to the pounding beats and cynical samples of "The Chair" which is what I feel is the precursor to the next album 'Tactical Neural Implant'
This was my first FLA purchase, and like all great music it takes time to develop an ear and appreciation for what this underground masterpiece really is. This album will always have a place in my heart, along with it's polar opposite 'Tactical Neural Implant'.
If you happen to buy this album, and have a taste for heavy/electronic music, you will not be disappointed."

I finally created a band! (^.=.^)
General | Posted 16 years agoMy goal to create a band has been met (^.=.^). Me and my good friend
KABZ3N have decided to create one together under the project name:
fossilfuel
I am the synthesist, percussionist and vocalist in the band, as Ryn does keyboards, guitar, and synthesizers as well.
I am excited and hope to create a full song sometime. :)

Commissions
General | Posted 17 years agoWell this is my first journal entry dealing with commissions, since, well... I finally got one :)
My jew of a dog friend
zevthespiffydog ask me to do one for him, which I was more than happy to accept. (^.=.^)
If anyone else is interested, I might be able to fit in 2 more spots with my current project lineup as of now, just let me know and we can arrange something.

General | Posted 17 years agoMe and my girlfriend
queenpili made arrangements on going to MFF this week.
If things go according to plan, we should be there by saturday morning/early afternoon, and stay under the con ends sunday night.
If anyone is interested in meeting up and hanging out let me know. (^.=.^)

This might be too much of an inside joke, but...
General | Posted 17 years agoBeen busy but I'm back
General | Posted 17 years agoWell it's been a while, but I'm back on my FA account, checking my messages and such.
I've been busy a lot since I've last uploaded anything.
I've been working extra hours to help save up money for my mate to move up here, which she did.
After driving her up here, me and her went job hunting for a week, she's found one job and is currently doing okay for now, until we find something better for her.
As for my artwork: I haven't given it up or anything, I just didn't have the motivation like I used to for the past few months, so I took up a new activity. I've been learning music, and how to play my bass guitar, been practicing a lot too, just about on a daily basis.
So far I have one drawing completed, and ready to be inked soon. Most of the drawings I've done since the last post were practice sketches, to help me improve further. I'm hoping to have more drawings completed by the end of this month, depending on how things go around home and work.
Thanks to all my friends still sticking by my side, and my lurkers still having faith that new material will emerge sometime.
Until then, I will roar at you all later.
