So I was supposed to be flying out from Adelaide towards the United States for my holiday, LVFC, FWA and other things on the 28th...
I got a message from United on the evening of the 27th to say that my flight had been cancelled due to technical issues with the aircraft.
So then i spent the next 4 hours playing phone pingpong with my travel agent's emergency 24 hour hotline untill about just after midnight.
Finally managed to secure a three stage journey to the US via Brisbane, but the earliest I could leave was the 31st..

I have hotel accomodation booked for LVFC in LV for the 1st .
So I have had to book last minute flights from Denver to LV as we were originally planning on driving over but with the time shortage that was no longer an option.
I have spent a good portion of today organising flights, paying through the nose for said flights, and then trying to file a claim with my travel insurance for the delay/incurred costs, which may take several days to come to fruition but hopefully should help recover some of the costs.

At this point I am extremely stressed out, tired as hell and just worn down. It was supposed to be my vacation, and I SHOULD be in the US right now with my partner, instead I am still in Adelaide, stuck just kinda limboining away for tonight and tomorrow untill my flight at 6am on the 31st leaves for Brisbane, then on to Sanfransisco, then to Denver..

ugh..

Sorry, just needed to get all of this off my fuckin chest and like... goddamn. EVERY single fucking time I try and fly internationally some bullshit like this happens to me or my partner. Just fucking cursed..

G'day all!

If you have been following some of my previous journals you may have been aware of an ongoing issue that myself and have been working through together in regards to his ADHD and work situation, specifically the struggles he has been having in actually being able to focus enough to do his work and the process of getting him back on medication for the first time in like 7 years.

Well the situation has finally been resolved, and Essy has finally actually made it through the legal system here in order to be prescribed and is medicated on Vyvance. The results have been pretty profound and almost immediate, with him finally actually able to sit down and commit to a task and within a couple of days of him taking the meds he sat down and knocked out over a dozen traditional pieces that he had taken on as commissions last year for AC and had untill that point just been unable to sit down and do. It looks very promising and hopefully it will mean in the not too distant future he is going to be able to finally catch up with his backlog and get his commission workload closed out.

Thank you to all of you that have been waiting on art commissions and been incredibly patient, understanding and polite to the pair of us during this process. Rest assured I am continuing to work with him and once we return from our trip to the US he is going to be knuckling down trying to get everything done.

Moving forwards he is probably going to close/take a break from commissions once he has finished his current queue and then taking them on a more adhoc basis with close friends and such only for the time being so he doesnt have the anxiety of having someone he doesnt really know, waiting for an extended time and getting angry at him or snapping at him, as unfortunately there were a couple of instances of people losing their patience, and saying some things that certainly were a massive contributor to him having his big crash out in which he nuked most of his online presence.

In the meantime i do encourage any of his commissioners to reach out to me if they have any queries about their art, as I will be acting as Essys commission manager/client liaison.

Also, as a heads up, we will both be attending both LVFC and FWA this year so hopefully we will see many of you at either or both of these cons <3

Yeaaap. Another year older, 39 this year. I feel like an ancient myth at this point hah, that notorious nom fiend that people sometimes stumble across and it gets them into vore. Updates wise, as you may have seen from soem of My prior journals I have been on a mission to get Essy back onto ADHD medications for the first time in like 8 years to try and help him improve his quality of life and help him to be able to focus with not only his work but just every day executive function which has been a crippling problem for him.

I GOT HIM THE MEDS! We finally reached the finish line. And the results have been nothing short of incredible. He feels level and contented and able to focus, and has already churned out a huge batch of his owed traditional artwork in a short period of time, and I'm very proud and relieved that I was able to help him!

So yeah... lots of nice news and yesh, happy birthday to me wheeee... now to go back go work and finish my shift >.>

SO!

As many of you by now probably realise, my partner has been going through a rather turbulent time since moving here and being unmedicated and suffering from rather severe ADHD.
WELL, as of today, I can happily report that we have had his official diagnosis and the Psychiatrist said that his case was a VERY clear cut and easy case and that he qualified for the medications pretty much immediately.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
The Psychiatrist has to submit a report which will then be forwarded to our GP, authorizing him to prescribe and we need to have some baseline medical stuff like bloods, heart rate/blood pressures done etc and then he will be formally able to prescribe Essy with the medication that he needs.

OK COOL, BUT I HAVE BEEN WAITING ON ART FOR LIKE 9 MONTHS NOW WHERE IS MY ART?
This process is not something that happens overnight, and unfortunately with our situation of having him immigrating here and then adjusting to life in Australia it has not been a very stable and settled environment for Essy over the last few months. I know that I have mentioned this already in previous journals but please BE PATIENT as we work through this together.

I DONT WANT TO WAIT ANYMORE I WANT A REFUND
If you decide that you cannot deal with waiting any furthur while we complete this process and Essy actually is physically and mentally able to get back into drawing again etc, I WILL work with you on arranging a refund for whatever is owed. Just do understand that for the pair us, there is a LOT going on and that it may take you a little bit for this to be sorted out. Essy still DOES also have his trello, which will clearly show the progress of any of his current commissions, which has obviously due to the above stated reasons, for the last couple of months been ZERO for any of his clients.

He does genuinely get VERY stressed out and anxious about failing all of you and wishes to put an effort into doing what he owes for everyone once he is mentally able to actually complete his work in a timely manner again.

I would kindly request that if you DO have any queries about the progress of your commission, or just wanting to know how he is doing etc, to contact ME on Telegram Taluthus and I will happily discuss it with you. At the current point in time I will be acting as a bit of a commission manager for him so he has a degree of separation between directly interacting with understandably frustrated clients, and I wish to first and foremost, protect my partner and his mental wellbeing.

I cannot overstate enough how greatful I am for that fact and rest assured, I am doing my very best to get my partner the help that he needs to that HE can deliver on the art that is owed to you.

Hello all!

I wanted to give an update on Essys situation and information for those waiting on commissions from him.

After several months we have FINALLY made it through the bureaucratic mess surrounding his ADHD and I have secured an appointment for him to be seen/diagnosed at an ADHD specialising clinic that will hopefully be able to issue authority to prescribe.

Since getting here and moving in with me in Australia he has had to go through several steps to get onto our healthcare system and it has been ... exhausting..

The hopes is that within the next month we can potentially have him medicated again for the first time in many years and hopefulyl this is going to have a dramatic positive impact on the self destructive loop that Essy has been experiencing where he is unable to work, then feels awful at his inability to work and spiral into depression from there.

My hope is that once he is medicated a lot of his mental hurdles will clear and that in time he may be able to get what is owed done.

I do ask patience from everyone that is waiting on art from him and understanding that this a process that we have to work through.

Once I have evaluated how effective the medication is/whether boi is in the right state of mind I will make a decision on how to approach it, either asking for more time to sort it out or working with Essy to refund those he owes money to.

At this time I ask that you PLEASE REFRAIN from asking him about his commission progress because there is none, and it us only increasing his anxiety when people do so.

He is not scamming anyone, or being fraudulent, and worse case scenario I will personally see to it that those who are owed are repaid in full in due time.

I do apologise for those that have already been waiting for an extended duration and understand how frustrating that can be, buy first and foremost I need to look after my partners mental health and well-being.

If you wish to enquire about how things are going in relation to an art commission you can note me here, and I will happily provide details or avenues of communication such as Telegram/discord etc as required.

I will be personally overseeing and managing his liaison with his clients in the future if he DOES puck art back up again, to give him a bit of a buffer as he already feels very anxious about everything right now.

As some of you may have noticed Essy has withdrawn himself from most of his socials and kinda had a massive crashout. As his partner I can lend some insight into what has been going on and what this means going forwards.

Essy has always struggled with his ADHD, he suffers a pretty severe case of it, and back when he was in the United States he was medicated for it. In the last 12 months he has literally uprooted his entire life to come and live here in Australia with me and it has been.... quite turbulent to say the least. We are in the process of getting him officially diagnosed here so he can get back onto his medications again which will bring him some more ability to actually focus on a task rather than just abstracting into oblivion. It has been a horrible feedback loop where he has been unable to actually sit down to do his art, then feeling like shit due to being unable to produce what he owes to his client, and then the depression that has come from people poking him for updates when he has none to give. It has all come to a head in the last few days and he has expressed to me that he no longer WANTS to be an artist and that the joy has gone from drawing due to the aformentioned problems. On top of this he has also had some existing debts back in the US that have been brewing in the backround and it just been the perfect storm for him.

I am currently working with Essy to try and work out a solution going forwards in which the most likely outcome is that as he is able to afford to do so, he is going to be refunding everyone that he currently has on his commission queue. I am going to help facilitate and organize this and then the long term objective is to clear his queue and that is it, he is going to be done drawing for money and will be looking to take on a different job here at home going forwards.

Currently Essy is a ball of anxiety and stress and depression and has been unable to really interact or even look at his DM's and such.

This is not going to be quick process as he owes a significant amount over several clients, but It is the best thing that we can do for the moment. I am going to be taking over directly dealing with people to try and take some pressure off him during this time and let him mentally recover.

I know this comes as a disappointment to many and that people are going to be frustrated, but first and foremost my partners mental health and wellbeing is my top priority here.

Thank you for your understanding and once I have worked out a proper plan with him (he is crashed out asleep rn) I will communicate this via further journals and will be seeking to reach out to the people that he owes and working on a solution with them.

Tato is recovering well. He has resumed eating regularly, had his first poop today post op, and it's showing every sign that he is returning to his normal self. He seems to be self aware of the fact that he almost died, and that we took actions to get him better. Since he has been back home he has been EXTREMELY affectionate and purring a lot. Right now he is laying with us on the bed, contentedly purring away.

I have removed the payment link from the previous journals. We have had more than enough assistance and I genuinely feel uncomfortable with taking more than is strictly necessary.

Bit of an update on the cat situation. He has had a successful operation to remove the foreign object, which turned out to be a supremely compacted lump of hairball deep in his intestines that was blocking it up. He is currently still at the vet under observation overnight. At this stage it is looking like he is not going to have any further complications. The overall bill for this whole debacle is sitting at around $4.5k which is quite the unexpected hurdle to be sure and the reason why I was freaking out so much.

To that end, i really appreciate everyone so far that has been helping out by spreading the word, sharing it with their groups and to those that have donated to help out. It will go a great way towards helping to ensure that Tato was able to get the help he rightfully needed and that I didn't have to be put in the awful decision of choosing for my pets urgent care based on what I was able to afford/provide for him.
My sincerest gratitude goes out to everyone.

I will be leaving this here still for now, but tomorrow once i pay for everything and assess the damage i may pull this journal down and replace it with another one confirming the end of the whole situation.

I am keeping track of all of the people that have thus far, and once everything is sorted and the dust settled I am probably going to try and arrange for some sort of group picture with all of those involved as a means of thanking everyone for their support.

Bad news all.

My beloved little bean has some sort of intestinal blockage/foreign object. He was off his food, not drinking or going to the litter box and hiding sp we took him to thr vet. Our worst fears have been confirmed and he needs surgery.

The issue is that this is going to cost over 5000AUD to fix, at a time qhen I've already been heavily overburdened with bills, loan payments and am struggling pretty heavily to juggle it all.

I've cancelled *all* commissions that I was planning on getting, and I may consider trying to auction off/resell one of my newer characters and any art they have as a means of a fund raiser.

I gotta say. I still love this day. Every single year it brings such a gorgeous flood of inspired vorish goodness from many talented individuals. It also feels good that even after all these years, people seem to still enjoy chatting with, hanging out with, and disappearing into this glowy gulleted dummi. Vore has always had a special place in my life, both for selfish lewd reasons and also just as a medium which has brought me many amazing long term friends and many fond memories.

The vore scene was VERY different back when I started out in 2003 ish, it was a closeted close knit community. There was very little alternative vore content like cockvore etc as it was seen to be outrageous and highly out there. It has been interesting watching what was a very small and sheltered community back then grow into literally a mainstream popular media type, fit for consumption by most people and readily accepted as just a relatively normal thing in many communities. Truly a very wild change.

The sheer diversity and volume of content these days is amazing, and we are all spoiled with a huge pool of talent and it's honestly really a wonderful thing.

I'm closing in on tje big 40 in a couple of years now, and it certainly seems like forever ago that I first stepped onto the scene as a small unknown two tailed kitsune with a big appetite but it's been an amazing journey.

I hope that my love of vore and the pieces I commission will continue to inspire people and bring them happiness, pleasure and joy. I truly appreciate every one of you who has had the time of day and patience for this dumb vorny idiot and yea, just wanted to share a little on what this day and more broadly, this community means to me.

How are you doing, what have you been up to and how has life been treating you?

I have some really fantastic news to drop.
Myself and have been dating for over four years now, as a long distance relationship, with him being based in the United States, and myself here in Australia.
Well that is finally about to change for good. As of writing this, we officially have applied for his partnership VISA to live here with me and he is currently on a bridging VISA while we await the Australian Governments determination on whether he can stay and live here as my partner for good. It has been an arduous and stressful journey, and a VERY expensive one, the VISA application and associated lawyer costs are reaching close to $20000 AUD at this point, but yeah, it is all basically done now and underway so in the not so distant future we can both just get on with our journey together, and think about more long term things.

He has been staying with me here for around 3 months thus far, and we had originally intended for this to just be a visit, but due to recent events politically in the united states and the very real potential for there to be issues with Essy's passport moving forwards due to the situation over there with Transgender related issues, we decided to fast track the process so at least when he DOES visit the US he will be doing so on a travel authority from the Australian government so they will not have any jurisdiction/sway over his stay there. So yeah, we decided to move the whole process forwards six months and get it happening now. It has been a big relief for the pair of us to have this in place and there is a lot of peace of mind that comes from finally getting this huge hurdle over and done with.

And yes, i guess I should mention that it's going to be my 38th birthday this coming week on the 7th March. I wish I could say that I am happy for that and excited but TBH, its probably going to be a pretty flat day for me. Waking at 4.35 am, working for 12 hours in the heat, and then going back to my camp room and going to sleep, but hopefully it will at least be an easy day at work for me. I would love to just hear from people and have people comment here and hear how everyone is doing. I have been really quiet on the online stage and pretty isolated, and I really should reach out and engage more often with people so I do apologize for that, I have just yeah, been pretty closed off in my own little world, dealing with my burdens as best I can. I am doing ok though! <3

GOOD news though, now that the immigration stuff is mostly over, I can FINALLY think about treating myself to more things like art commissions. I have some new characters that I would like to finally start getting art off, aside from just Taluthus, and yeah, it is going to be a fun time moving forwards. ALSO, once i have the financial ability, I WILL be attending more US based cons in the future like LVFC. FWA etc, so yeah stay tuned on that front.

Just sharing my thoughts on the matter of what the site is going through in the wake of Dragoneer's tragic passing.
For every horrible thing that happens, there are some good things that come out of it .

And one of the biggest things that I am seeing right now.
is unity.

The whole community, regardless of their views, opinions, political affiliations, personal desires, or wishes, are all coming together in this time of great need to help support the family of the owner and creator of this site, in the interests not only of keeping it running, but in providing his family and loved ones with a much needed break from all the stress and hardship that this event has suddenly and unexpectedly thrust onto them.

When we unite together we can accomplish almost ANYTHING, and it is important to remember that each person, every SINGLE one of us has the capacity and the ability to enact GREAT changes and to move HUGE milestones. The go fund me is ALREADY fufilled, MORE than fufilled, in amazingly short period of time, due to the efforts of all of us, all the MANY people that gave what they might have considered to be insignificant amounts of money to this cause. If 75000 people only pitch in ONE dollar, theres that goal blown out of the water.

I would like to use this example, in the spirit of everyone here remembering that as humans, furries, whatever, that we are all the sum of our individual parts, and united we stand and can move mountains.

I never knew him personally.

I did see him and this site go through a LOT of controversy and its certainly been a hell of a rollercoaster ride since I first came here back in 2009.
But to me, and so many other people like me, like it, hate it, FA gave a lot of us a place to call home. And that is something to be cherished and definitely a legacy that I think he will be ultimately remembered by.

Rest in peace, and thank you for the community that you started, that continues on today.

A maker/clothing manufacturer who could be able to bring some of my hoodie designs to life IRL.

I would absolutely LOVE to see some of Taluthus's hoodies designs get some love IRL who would be able to work with fully custom designs and not just a regular 'standard blank slate hoodie' where you get to print a design or such onto it. I have been looking for ages and just cant seem to find anyone that can do what I want.

So far the con has exceeded all expectations and I have been having an absolute blast. I've gotten to meet so many long time friends and fresh face's and it's just been an amazing experience. I got to mend some broken bonds, clear up some uncertainties that people had, and just have an amazing time.
