Hello there kind furry folk!

Yeah, in the last couple of weeks I did a little "disappearing act" on the whole FA thing, no uploads, no comments, nothing. I know you're... wonderingwhyicouldntsolveitsoicouldcommentandmakepicswhenihadtimeandyouprobablythinkiwasbeingalllazyandnowyouhatemeandwishiwasneverbornyaddyyaddyyadda...

The thing is, I needed some money real bad. And I can't start taking commissions, cause no-one would buy them. Thus I had to find a part-time job of some sorts, and I had to begin studying as well. I got a job at Tesco hypermarket, where I load shelves with things that are unbelievably heavy to put up, but once on the shelf, they slip and slide like freakin' Russian ice-skater, and just for the fun of it, they knock down other shit so you can start the weightlifting all over again. And for this I get 3 bucks an hour....
Actually, I get only 2 dollars an hour, since Fürgediák, the job provider kindly takes 1 dollar per hour for "mediation and handling", so after a back-braking job well done they poke my eyes out with 16 bucks, so I can buy myself a cup of coffee, to stay alive on anatomy class... FREAKIN' AWESOME!

I'll try to get back to commenting, and I'll carry on with  venator-somniorum 's prize pic today. After some sleep.... good night. Zzzzzz...

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who participated in the contest :)
I was quite surprised that so many people were interested, and thus my job deciding who was the winner was a lot lot harder. That's why I asked my sister to help me review the soundtracks, and help me judge who's song won.

But before saying who won, I would like to say this:
Everyone sent really brilliant soundtracks, the decision was really difficult, since you all really managed to capture the essence of the picture :) Your 'inner ears' are perfectly functioning, you all deserve praise ^^

But as I said before, I can have only one winner. My sister and I felt that tho all songs fit in very well, the soundtrack that is possibly the best amongst the best is:

Okay, I finished all of my exams, and summer is coming, so I'll start drawing again...
Lately I had absolutely no time to draw (biochemistry took entire days from me, without the merest sight of paper and pencil together) so I'll try to pick up the pace, to "make up the missing pics"
But the reason I wrote this journal is to ask my fair public about me starting a small comic series, for serious this time. The problem is that I can't decide which idea should I start working on, so I'll be asking you guys and girls, what would you like to see:
Option one: Battlefun 2008, a parody series based on mostly Battlefield 2, but with some references to other computer games and cultural stuff
Option two: S.S.A.R.R. , a sci-fi series, with dark humor, lots of violence and emotional stuff about war
Option three: Spellcheck , a fantasy series about magic and magic users...
And option four, just in case: Lessons of RPG and MMORPG, if you'd like, I could continue that one too, a parody based on... well the title pretty much explains it...
This is just what I wanted to say, you can vote here or send me a note on your vote. Or don't vote. It's up to you...

Yesterday, in the afternoon, I got a headache. A really small one at first. I thought if I don't pay attention to it, it will go away, as it always does...
Later in the afternoon, the pain intensified to a point that I decided to take some painkillers (which I very rarely do, because since I attend medical university, I try to let my body do the healing, instead of taking all kinds of manufactured sh*t...) to ease the "feeling of a claymore in my head". Of course, the medicine had no affect, not even two pills, so I decided to simply go to bed early...
After nearly 4 hours of suffering and about an hour of crying from the immense pain, I fell asleep at around... 2 o'clock.
When I woke up, I was relieved to feel that the pain was gone. But this is when the really scary part started:
I noticed that I had a nosebleed during my sleep...
I managed to calm myself down, and remind myself that if it was anything really serious, I would have had other symptoms. But at first I nearly went into a f*cking PANIC!!!!!

It was the name that fit my personality the best.

My character is an urban werewolf, and as such, he is capable of shapeshifting (although he has successfully managed to forget how to change back into his human form :D ) but he is weaker than normal werewolves. I choose this species because I love werewolves ^^
What color is your character and why? Hair/fur/eyes/etc
The fur is mostly white, with a few patches of black at various places on his body (right hand, left shoulder, left eye, end of tail, chin). The hair is silver, and the eyes are greyish green.Why?WHY NOT?! XDD

Well, I've been tagged by  Jako but I will show "mercy" by not spreading it any further, I don't care even if a million years of bad luck starts haunting me (999999 years, 11 months 30 days 23 hours and 56 minutes remaining...)
So, some random facts about me?

1. I would like to become a doctor
2. The dobermann is my favorite dogbreed (used to have one)
3. I like retro games (such as Doom 2, Transport Tycoon, Warcraft 2, etc.)
4. I love RPGs, virtual and IRL ones.
5. One of my hobbies are guns, I like to study their mechanics and sometimes design them too.
6. My room has an excellent view on the mountain next to which we live.
7. I prefer cold weather over hot weather (still cold in a jacket? put another one on. still hot when you are already naked? tough luck, start peeling your skin off...)
8. I can come up with 8 random facts about myself in less then 5 minutes :D

Well, my journal was pretty out of date, so I decided to update it. My grandmother is doing a lot better now, so there is no need to worry about that now :)
In other news, I finally managed to get Doomsday working, I hope to find others wanting to play a goood ol' fashioned coop in Doom2 ^^

I was just about to take off to the university, when the telephone rang. This was already a very bad sign for me, but when I answered it, my fears came true. My mum called, my grandmother vomited blood in the morning, and she was taken to hospital. This put me in a mood all day, and since the hospital is right next to the university, after my last classes I rushed to find out what happened exactly. When I got there, my whole family was there, everybody was crying. The doctor thinks she has gastric ulcer, but there is still too much blood in here stomach, and cannot tell for sure. They will examine her again on Monday.
Don't be suprised to find me in a bad mood nowadays, but I will try to complete the promised drawings.

Phew, the last 2 weeks were quite a killa :D
I practically moved into the university, and slept next to the corpses XD but finally, all my exams are done, and I can get back to drawing ^^ . Although I still failed my anatomy exam, everything else went super, and I can still continue my studies, only I have to take up anatomy classes again :/ . Oh well, thems are the breaks, I should have studied during the year, instead of trying to learn everything under a month.
So, I'm back home now, and can get down to some serious drawing... ;)

I just got a fantastic sci-fi simulator recently, and it's like... like wooooooooow... :O
I mean, I always loved sci-fi, but this game, it's atomsphere, the music, the gameplay, and the battles make me carve for a joystick, to fully enjoy it. Don't get me wrong, I already enjoy it very much, I feel this is the best game I've ever played in my life, and belive me, I played all kinds of games since the release of Warcraft 2. My all time unbeatable favorite was the Half-life "series". But now... well, sorry Gordon, pick up your crowbar and don't come back until Episode 2! Until then, you don't stand a chance!

Somehow I feel... relieved.
Lot of stuff going on around me lately, and while at least a thousand daggers of all sorts are tossed at me, even from unknown directions, I don't wanna dodge them. They sink into my flesh with the wailing sound of hatred, desperation and dissapointment, I just smile, and shake them out of myself.
I feel free, no longer do I have to let myself be abused or used under the so called term of "being nice". I no longer need to put up with the problems of others, while setting mine aside.
The old wolf died, and I'm glad it did. The new wolf has better eyes, to see thing the old one did not see. Or did not want to see.
Everyone cries out to me asking "why?". If they can't figure out the answer after writing it down in plain black and white English, then they should read it again. It's not in a form of a metaphore or needs the person being able to read between the lines. It's clearly there.
But still, it made me laugh though. People whom I never spoke with more than 2, max 3 times become the high and mighty psychologists, judging me and practically branding me with titles not too favourable. But don't worry, I found it funny as hell, and it made my day :)
